Rare Classic. Needs to be the basis for a movie. Thanks for the vintage find!

Thanks for the upload. Great to hear an early live version; especially that guitar solo!

An early and superlative extended solo by Buck. I wonder if anyone in the crowd could have guessed he'd still be making magic on the guitar 45 years later. This is just awesome.

The Bouchard Brothers: The core of the band. Wonderful song by Joe (by the way: it includes a quote by German expressionist painter Max Beckmann)

Written and sung by the Bouchards. This performance sounds like Detroit 2/73.

I also saw them at the Sanctuary on April 23rd 1997. I saw them twice at McGuffey's on December 30th 1994 and March 3rd 1996.

I have a cassette with the full show, but it is very distorted in spots when the band gets real loud. This is much better quality. Would love to hear the full show in this quality.

Any guidance as to where I/we could find some early live video-performance of the band on here? Really appreciate it!

The key footage that springs to mind is Largo in 1976. The Reaper live in 1976. The Other Enchanted Evening in 1978. The Black & Blue tour footage in 1980 and the fabulous Hollywood Sportorium concert in Oct 1981.

Just seen Blue Oyster Cult Live in Paris 1975 ... incredible early footage .. about 44 minutes of BOC greatness on film, could be the earliest film available ???

I could kill for some drum cam footages from that time, if therr are any. Albert's sense of groove is out of this world.
