Paul's 'Requiem Aeternam' ('Eternal Rest' - a prayer for the faithful departed to rest in the love of God in Paradise until resurrection and the Last Judgement) is both a beautiful and profoundly moving composition drawing on plainchant as it was commissioned by Brother Dunstan Townsend, OSB, to commemorate the death of Brother Arne Aasen in 2021. That it is performed here with such sensitivity and artistry as a dedication to Ani is, for me, equally touching and deeply affecting. The Sonus 60 instrument with its custom voicing and special audio system is truly astonishing in the magisterial fullness and depth of organ tone being generated by Physis software. I cannot imagine I would hear the music sounding quite as wonderful on any other instrument - 'real' or 'virtual': a definitive performance. Bravo . . . and much sadness for your loss.
Grazie Roberto! Sono molto felice che ti piaccia 🙂 Questo video é dedicato ad una cara amica e collega scomparsa quest’anno. Ha lasciato in me un grande vuoto e questo video ha voluto essere il mio modo per dirle addio.
Hello DP,You were very open-minded about this music and delivered a wonderful interpretation. What I see now in this piece I did not feel in Paul's own interpretation. Now I love it!!
Your tone through out the piece is incredible! I held my breath in order to get myself into a beautiful solo reed and strings section. What a beautiful piece. Thanks for sharing, DP.
I already loved the rendition of Paul ! I still love your nice interpretation. This is the introit I will sing tomorrow for the fest of all saints, too bad I had not enough time to work on so many beautiful pieces ! Congrats DP !
Hi, DP! Is Ani someone closed to you? So sorry for your loss... You played it beautifully and made me think of all my loved ones who are in Heaven with Jesus right now. I miss them so much, but it's so comforting to know that I'll meet them someday and never be parted again. Keep you in my prayer and take care!
Thanks very much! Ani was probably the sweetest colleague I have ever worked with. Always gentle and smiling, she was a true blessing. COVID took her some months ago 😞
Thanks, I am glad that you like it. I suppose that the place where all the voicing and audio parameters are stored is my head 😄 So far I did not have time to document all the setup process but maybe in future…
Makin berkembang dan sukses terus ya Ka🙏😊 Dan semoga selain bisa ngasih manfaat buat viewersnya, jg jdi ladang penghasilan buat Kaka dan keluarga🙏😊😊 Salam sukses💪

Grazie! 🤩
The melody that seems to slide on the surface of the water on a quiet accompaniment is impressive. The soft expression is excellent.
You are very right! I could not find better words to describe this melody in images! ❤️

@@digitalpipes That is so sad....May Ani rest in peace...
Where may we find out what exactly the custom audio system and voicing used was, please? It sounds wonderful.
