Bearing in mind how RUclips compresses audio files . . . this is still simply a most AWESOME sound and performance from you. Stunning. You are a genius, DP! Organ sample sound technology available through systems like Hauptwerk certainly enables us to hear very close approximations to the magnificent pipe organs that were recorded. And it is both exciting and a pleasure for organ enthusiasts like me to be able to play such instruments in the comfort of our own homes. But what you have done here goes well beyond Hauptwerk as this is not just a brilliant performance of this music by G F Haendel on a 'recorded' organ. As good as any VPO recording might be, and as wonderfully as the acoustical properties of the building housing the organ might have been captured, the sound is still just a recording of single note by single note. It is not 'alive'. But your Unico P35 using Viscount's amazing Physis technology generates 'live' pipe organ sound that incorporates all the many nuances and subtleties of many pipes all speaking together, that impact on the sound produced in the way that single note recordings can never possibly emulate. Of course, the ultimate magic of Physis is always going to be in the 'voicing' characteristics chosen from all the available parameters. I have heard some very poor examples of Physis voicing that instantly reveal the least convincing pipe organ sound coming from a digital instrument. But you have elevated Physis voicing of digital organ sound from the ordinary to a higher art form that is as near to perfection as could be achieved. And the acoustic modelling you have incorporated to ensure 'dry' organ tone sounds as if it is truly interacting with a real building is just really mesmerizing. This is a triumph of the potential of digital organ sound because it is as close to 'real' as we're ever likely to get. And your own playing in this recording is so musical. The articulation and phrasing with their close attention to detail and respect for the music perfectly mirror the same care and devotion to the baroque voicing you have given your Unico P35. Viscount could not have a better ambassador for what their organs are capable of achieving. You are the gold standard of the miracle of the pipeless organ. B R A V O !
Thanks very much, Graham! Your comments encourage me to achieve always better results. This morning I was sipping my coffee and having a conversation with the other two house attendants, Mila and Shiro (my dogs), and all of a sudden I got a new idea on how to improve the voicing even further. I feel as if someone or something is haunting me, I cannot get a moment of rest! 😁 This is definitely one of the most amazing and exciting learning journeys of my life, and it is so also because I can share it with all of you! Thanks so much!
The master craftsman once more! Always such a thrill when there is a new DP video to enjoy - superb playing! amazing videography! and the real magic happening behind the scenes with all of that work to create this wonderful and living sound!! Bravo!!! 🥰
Thanks very much, Jerry! You are way too generous with me! You are the video master, after watching your hatupwerk tutorial video I realised I can only learn from you! 🙇
Thanks very much, Eunjoo! I am just a passionate organist and techie who likes to spend his free time voicing and playing around with audio equipment! 😉
Thanks, Ralph! Yes, that's from where I got it too! It is a very nice transcription because it preserves the "baroquiness" of the piece, without loading it with unnecessary and heavy super and sub octaves :D
Thanks very much, Christopher! I am happy that you like the sound of the organ! I cannot help but change something in the voicing every time I play something new! 😁
Amazing. I never asked this but how did you revoice the organ? Were you able to revoice it using the software they had like Romantic, English, and Baroque?
Ciao Simone, grazie!
Wow!! This sounds so good! Really thinking of getting a Viscount organ.
That pedal bass is sooo goood!
😍 thanks!

What a nice transcription from monsieur Righetti! I have to look that one up, I see it's on IMSLP.
Great playing, a truly majestic sound.

Brilliant mesmerizing performance ❤️

I have two Sonus 60 at home. But here I see (and hear) a professional!
Thanks, Piotr!
Very nice video stay connect you
DP, awesome sound and playing as usual!
Sorry, wish I could find better things to say, but you know it's your fault.
You always play brilliant. ^^
Thanks very much! I am so happy that you like it! ❤️
I'm getting better with Handel with Bach these days. Unlike Bach, Handel's music is easy to understand and easy to hear. I enjoyed your performance.
Thanks very much! I agree with you, Haendel wrote more “commercial” music compared to Bach! If he lived in our time, he would be a world star! 😃
Amazing. I never asked this but how did you revoice the organ? Were you able to revoice it using the software they had like Romantic, English, and Baroque?
Thanks! 😃 yes, I revoiced the organ with the physis editor. I am not using the factory presets (baroque, romantic, etc)

Eccomi! Perdona l'attesa ma sono rientrato ieri :) L'ancia di 16 al pedale é Bombarde 16D 👍
