So in all seriousness, this and especially the live version helps me with extreme anxiety and the tedium of a workday. Not sure why, but I've listened to these for months when my days get difficult. Helps with productivity sure, but also calms my nerves which is very difficult to do. I enjoy lo-fi in general, but I often come back to this blend of music and narration. Its the perfect mix. Not sure why, but it reminds me a bit of listening to a radio as a kid, listening to storm and tornado warnings and trying to figure out what was happening where in between songs that took on an eerie dread to them when you didn't know what the next news update would bring. Fear inducing as a kid, but these videos are oddly and contrastingly comforting.

Honestly wouldn't mind if the real Weather Channel just played albums like this instead of their gentrified garbage on that sad excuse for Local on the 8's they have now.
I just realised.. when you play the Weather 011 on repeat, every time he's talking about which forest has moved where, you hear either "the old woods on the east side of town" or "evil woods on the east side of town". This is genius and I'm in love. Also, dark lofi doesn't quite cover it for me, shouldn't it be horror lofi? Like make it a legitimate music genre, I want more xD
I like how it knows it's my favourite channel! The voice over segments in this are just divine. The beautiful comforting creepiness, the cheery normalisation, it just makes this. Kinda feels like it could be from the same universe as The Kirlian Frequency.

"more" is more than "less" therefore eternity would make life more "valuable" in terms of hours avalilable, however the limit of mortality does not negate the value of a mortal life. something's more than nothing and you could always have more, but you cannot have less than nothing, thus a mortal life is better than no life at all, even when keeping in mind that an immortal life has infinite value. the real question is do you value life or not? that is the key to all the questions above.
and keep in mind what you choose to value is subjective, but not arbitrary. Your values define your choices, and your choices define you in the world. so the next question is who do you want to be? and i think the answer to that should always be "yourself" If you're true to yourself, being alive yourself, you will probably value life, the rest then falls into place
