buy some bay leaves and put into your buckets of dry goods to keep the weevils away. Of course you already know that if you freeze it before putting it into the buckets it helps too!

I absolutely love that brand of shampoo and conditioner! So much better than the other cheap version and better than Aldi cheap one.
I'm talking about the one at the start of the video

Great haul. Looks like things are a bit easier for your family. Are you still getting A4 community hamper?

We will be but we haven't got a working fridge right now and I've had to freeze basically everything, like milk and cheese to make it last. once we get the new fridge and can make space again we will be going back. having to spend a lot more cause I cant buy in bulk at all

Your kids must have the best eye sight in the world. No child loves carrots that much.
Now you said you repaid a debt of $69,000 in 4.5 years. That is $15,333 a year. That does not include the interest accumulating over 4.5 years.
So how did you repay the loans of $69,000?

69k includes the interest we paid over the 4.5 yrs

I do carrot sticks and dip in lunchboxes, and in most main meals. We also grate them and use them to bulk out our meat.

      You repaid $15,333 every year.
      $15333 ÷ 52 = $294 approx. Weekly
      What am I getting wrong?

@tessie4136 Sounds about right averaged out over the 4.5 yrs. We also took a few months off there to have a baby.
We made our minimum payments on anything not defaulted and worked my way down the list. It was paid off with $10 leftover from grocery shopping and $20 selling something on Facebook marketplace.
We would also do extra jobs for extra payments
Then big chunks at tax time and whenever I could find extra. As the debts were paid off, we moved that payment down to the next one on the list. I did a modified debt snowball.
Paying extra to our high interest debt, but once debts got small enough, wiping them out.
