It always annoys me that the whole reason Lyons pivoted away from the brotherhoods mission was to stop the super mutant threat and when you finally tell him how to stop the creation of them you get a evangelion ending with him just saying "well done" and going back to trying to deal with super mutants. Would have been cool to have a quest to join the brotherhood to destroy the vault or something. They could attack the Purifier and and the airforce base but you can't secure a vault?
You mean the vault where the entrances to are 1) The main door which is damaged beyond repair and is surrounded by radiation which can reach up to 4,000 rads/sec and 2) through a town of kids living in a cave who might not take too kindly to a bunch of heavily armed mungos in power armor barging through?
I don't get why people dislike this reaction. The highest concentration of the hulks is in urban DC, so logic would make it seem that they originate from there and not halfway across the backwoods. It's good to have someone who found out.
@@dominicfu854 What the kids are going to do about it? Also they are scared of mutants, they would love to let them in to deal with the threat. Could be even better if there was a mission to deal with those mutants and one of the options would be taking the nuke from Megaton and blowing the vault up
@dominicfu854 It doesn't really matter what little lamplight does hopefully they would realize the severity of the super mutant threat and allow them to clear it out but if they don't it's an acceptable casualty imo the super mutants need to be dealt with permanently allowing them to continue expanding because stopping them would be slightly too "inconvenient" is insane
