Chinatown also. And Little Chinatown, Main Street Flushing. I hope celebrating all the different heritages that make NY 🗽 our great Liberty state never fade away. Little Italy moved to Glen Cove and Massapequa😂. Most homes in Massapequa have 2 kitchens. Here in Glen Cove, Saint Rocco's feast is massive and in the Orchard section, where their grape vines get the best sun.
Growing up in NYC Little Italy was a magic place, as was Chinatown. Neither hold their old charm. Little Italy has become a one square block (if that) tourist attraction with crap food and cheap souvenir shops. Better heading up to Arthur Ave and Belmont section of MY home boro of The Bronx where I grew up.
The last bit of "authentic" Miami you drove through Jose that you labeled as "crap", you will see some of the most authentic people you have ever met in your life and also some of the worst people you will ever see. That's Miami in a nutshell. As much as I complain about the place, it has some of the realest and some of the worst people you will ever meet. Much of the working class is the real Miami IMO. Before big money developers moved in the last 25 years, Miami was almost entirely a working class enclave. High, medium and low income, still almost entirely working class and poor people. I can almost guarantee you will find no phonies in Little Havana, unless they came from somewhere else and are transplants.
30 years ago I had the best jamacan creole fish just off the main highway in miami, I recently looked up jamacan creole food in miami and did a google streetview looks like the neiborhood is all boarded up. What was the name of that place that did jamacian creole? Who does it now?
Ok, I counted 14 fake roosters 🐓 ( artworks) in the first 9 minutes of this video....and 6 live chickens at minute 18:43. See if you can see more than that.
9:10 those hideous Hyundai’s are called the Ioniq 6 and they cost $40-50k depending on the trim!!! Unbelievable 🤦🏽♂️ and yes you do need to go to Pinolandia!!! I always go to the one on 119st..100% recommend
@@lostvlog6857 I want to have a romantic view of Miami but the truth is, it’s a shit hole. It’s dangerous, crowded, aggressive and dirty with the exception of a few small enclaves. Drug and OC money RULE that city.
@@dees9502 I was here 13 months ago on vacation, after a 1.5 days I headed to Naples. All I could stomach, homeless were everywhere near the old Marine stadium and downtown, tents all over. Just a third world feel, liked the skyline and architecture but the traffic was awful, tolls all over the place too.
I was born and raised in Miami Beach lived and went to school here and still live here and I can tell you first hand Miami is not what it used to be 25 years ago.
New York's various Little Italy's are no longer predominantly Italian. It's kind of sad when these things happen.

You’re spot on about Miami now. Miami is becoming more trashier by the week. For a traveler, the AirBnB scene in Miami has become pure trash 🗑️
This is what happens when you let people in ....
@@Mar-en6fe This is what happens when the people who run the country, states, and cities are failures.
@@Mar-en6fe Letting people in who can’t lead.. yes, you’re correct
Mind blown !! Completely unrecognizable today. Definately not the "Little Havana" that I remember 😮
Gentrification throughout SFL, it ain't what it used to be
You should go to Europe next. It will be fun
Europe right now is not a good choice. Too much turmoil and uncertainty. I’m sticking to the US and Canada for another year or so

Pinolandia looks dirty and nasty! Cana brava is the best place in all of little Havana for carne asada
Saluditos a mi niña Katie y al viejuquito bello, de parte de una Cubanita de la Pequeña Habana...Muchas bendiciones para todos...Bechitos...

Miami sucks. I lived and worked there. 99% ghetto and third world
Been here 3 or 4 times and always say the same thing.
