I really enjoy your videos, old and new. I have a question though, i was backtesting this stratergy, following the rules as closely as i could, and for some silly reason i left an 8 EMA up on the chart... I noted a huge corolation between the fractal highs and lows, as well as the pd arrays and the EMA, so something made me try something a little wierd. I stopped drawing the gan boxes and turned the fractals off, and used 3 ema's for my directional bias, i was finding trades in the uk and ny kill zones... I also found trades, acceptables ones... Outside of killzones, using the candle stick patterns and how they react to the MAs 8 ema (2 hour bias) 16 ema (4 hour bias) 96 ema (1 days bias) It even seems to work on the 5 minute... But with these emas: 12 (1 hour) 48 (4 hour) 288 (1 day) I feel crazy, but the more i back test the better it looks...maybe its just me, would like to hear from a more experienced trader...
wicks are more important in my opinion. If you switch from 5 min to 4 min all the wicks and bodies are different. The body is just formed on the exact second it opens and exact second it closes within 5 minutes. Whats so important about that
Looks like a bit of a simplified/personlised version of the power of two which is cool. Did you go through the full strategy and weed out what you did't want or did you know your personal preferences from the beginning?
Yes, this isn’t a mechanical strategy. He is still using his own discretion which is fine. True mechanical strategies don’t usually yield 60% win rate on average and they can be coded and turned into an EA. But this has enough mechanical rules built into it where it doesn’t affect the outcome of the strategy.
Backtesting like this that is not 100% mechanical has no point. Because it can not be replicated 100%. So it can’t be trusted and you will fuck it up with your emotions even if it actually might work
Practice makes perfect. There's a reason pilots use flight simulators. Same thing. Strategy isn't as mechanical as TPOT 2.0, as the ranges can be somewhat subjective. But if you train your eyes through experience you are able to become extremely methodical which is where I believe I am now.
@@repsollubes it changes with every trade, depending on market structure. But I have it set for 1:1 and it can be adjusted after I get in the trade. I would normally be looking for 20 ticks (5 points) using 5 contracts, but this can vary if I see different market structure

Which ema for 1 hour bias
@@gulryz9853 1 hour bias on a 5 minute time frame is the 12 ema, due to the number of 5 Min candles in an hour.
Ethan, in this new strategy, do you even use NFT, SFT, and FT when new ranges are formed in the 4h chart?
Cyberopolis forward-thinking approach to blockchain and crypto is inspiring. It's a privilege to be part of this journey from the start.
Great video ones again Ethan I like how you just go through price action backtesting and explaining strategies
I believe it should be 2 candle body breaks in a direction to constitute a change in momentum , not wicks.
You're welcome to backtest it! But this is how I trade it 👍

This is actually the new version of the power of two as created by evolution markets

Revux competitive edge could redefine its market segment.
Did ICT explain this strategy? If so, which one was it?
Revux decentralization potential is crucial.
Do you trade NQ/ES on Futures?
Also I notice you no longer pay attention to PD Arrays/Imbalances/FVG? And do you ever execute live on the 1-5m?
This is not a guide... Where is your set of rules? You seem to follow your intuition more than some sort of rules

New strategy every year and backtesting less than 6month.
You mentioned at start of video that London trading window is 8-10am I assuming that NY is 9:30-11:30am ??

TPOT 2.0!! LESSGOO

how about the time settings of market sessions?
I used unicorn strategy to pass my The5ers prop challenge.
Bro this is paid strategy of evo TPOT2.0 right?
Correct!
Every milestone Cyberopolis achieves brings it one step closer to redefining the crypto landscape. Proud to support this journey.
if you follow the 4hr momentum filter used in the original tpot, you'll find that the 4hr was all the time bullish. i think your bias was the opposite
It all depends on how you draw your ranges - mine are a bit tighter than some others 😃

Cool system Ethan!
Thanks Glen!

Does market structure shift and bos count as bearish or bullish order flow or do you mean you need two bos
you need 2 for mss im also in the community

Has anyone tested on indices NY session?
I believe they are busy testing it on S&P in evolution now
Works very well on trending assets such as S&P, GER40 and also Gold
Just use a kagi chart

1 month backtest!? 😂 is this a joke. You can’t even have any idea if the strategy work or not with a backtest under like 3 years.
Did you watch the video my friend? I suspect not, as I explained this clearly in the video. 😃
