1:2 a week is good in my eyes, so having this strategy is good. Obviously it will not happen everyday, but that is the point of trading, patience and discipline.
I deploy this same strategy on the S&P. It’s truly an amazing setup. Usually in and out in less than 10 minutes with 5-10 handles in my pocket!
How many trades at 1:2 in a month?
I was wondering how efective is on NASDAQ, thank u
Thats some nice profit man keep at it
Do they sweep the high or lows everyday?
@@bwasfpv no they dont
This is absolutely amazing stuff🙏🏾
Nice job Ethan! Great seeing you here being interviewed! Thank you Cam! I love your channel
I tested it on EURUSD with an extra Sl of 4 Pips since 1st May: 6 TP & 1 SL = +11% in 30 tradedays. When you set BE on 1:1, you have no losses. Very good strategy!
Update: The same on GBPUSD with an extra Sl of 1 Pip: 5 TP & no SL
Amazing! Thank you
all done in 1 min candle?
his strategy is to wait for structure break then to take entry in the opposite direction of the trend?
Put money behind it and let us know how it goes G 😂
test it on april and let us know how it goes :D
what was the difference in gain when moving to BE on 1:1?
Very well explained Ethan. I will definitely back test this.
I create a pretty much same logic strategy by myself. Thanks for giving me extra idea to put in my strategy!❤
i really enjoyed the fact that nothing was cherry picked in the charts this is good content thanks
i just finished back testing the strategy on EU for a full month, it's fukken amazing.. at times it only gives 1 to 1.5. The overall winning ratio of 1 to 2 is about 70% of which more than half of the wins get to 1 to 2 and the other portion 1 to 1 and 1 to 1.5 being a little less than 50% of the total 70%. i usually just trade gold, but this seam to work on NAS besides EU. Thumbs up bro. much luv from Namibia. This strategy should be called (THE DAILY BREAD) 🤣🤣🤣
can you share your backtesting result? i backtested this strategy myself on EU from 31 May 23 - 28 Jun 23. The result was 7 loss and 4 wins for the whole month (counting commissions this is barely a breakeven result) and contrary to waht you said, it was a split between 1:2 and 1:1.5. So the whole month was red from my backtest.
@@dappdroneme too brother this mf just scam people
This great SMC example, however there could much more to it, than the High/Low asian range brk + displacement+FVG+Kill zone. Props, for simplicity, though. Great educational content here! 🙌
Dan gerencia minha conta, sou médico, não tenho tempo para negociar, ele negocia para mim e me envia meus lucros
He keeps it very simple that's why he make money the way he trade. Complicated rules makes think twice before placing a trade. I'm saying this because I have the same 5 rules. I dont know him but he trades simple which I like
@@delvianwarenhendricks6287 i agree
@@delvianwarenhendricks6287how much money are you making with ur simple strategy? 😂
@@WASS291 I can tell you this. Trading for me is just another source of income and I don't look at the amount of money I make on a trade but at my % at the end of the year
Omfg. This is strategy is trully amazing.
Thank you very much for that info.
Amazing.
Hi, tell me please about step 4: do we need to wait exactly choch or bos will be also good for us?
Just backtested snp 500 from October 9th 23 to present day and came out 12% up. 8 wins. 4 losses. You just have to decide on your CHOCH rules and whether you take more than 1 trade per day if your first entry is liquidated. I added 1 more handle to stop loss
Anyone know which sessions indicator that is on TV? There are so many and i can't find it
Example #4 I'd say your MMS happens before you said. There is a fractal high to the left that gets swept aggressively and leaves a FVG, that is much more favourable and would be in profit by the time you're looking for the set up, also in KZ.
Please note, all this information was learned from Garland's videos, and I hope he's that good of a teacher that I am right here. 😂
Love these mechanical strategies BTW. Thanks gentlemen.
Thanks Ethan!
you are most welcome
Isnt a sweep supposed to be grabbing of orders which pushes the price with extreme movement in the other direction because of course the orders are taken. Here it doesnt look like a sweep, price just breaks the high / low and keeps moving until you see a break of structure of some kind. A sweep technically has to be a rapid movement in the opposite direction because orders are taken
Yep exactly. I sweep as ICT says needs to have energetic displacement after the sweep.
wakeup, price is fractal. For example this strategy will look like a wick on the 1h tf or even 15m.
Where can i get that indicator that you set to show the time between 11 and 08:30
Excellent!
awesome entry model and trade with fixed rules
This is awesome strategy. Will this work for the FTSE during the London session? I will try to do some back testing
usuch great information! question...which pairs work best with this strategy? thanks!
please tell what session indicator you are using please share link
can anyone explain when i have to go long and when short? i dont get it :/
which currency pairs can we trade with this system?
TJR has a very similar strategy, 1. mark out prev sess. highs and lows, 2. wait for liq sweep and MSS and then enter. I personally like the Fair Value gap confluence, providing a better entry and a better RR ratio.
You can mark ALL extreme Swing Highs & Lows from the previous day or from the current day, wait for Sweeps and MSSs, Entries on 61,8% OTE or FVGs, for Targets you can use the MOP, trade like this since 4 months, you can make hugh profits with targeting the MOP
@@erik_1205 thank you man thats really helpful, will definitiely backtest this.
no problem, but look mainly for Intermediate Term Swing Highs & Lows, that's what I mean with extreme@@rronhaxhiu6795
and yes for example previous Sessions Highs & Lows are mostly also Intermediate Term Swing Highs & Lows, so there you can also wait for Sweeps and MSSs@@rronhaxhiu6795
You can find this also often in the morning in/before London Killzone when price swept Asia high or low, thats for example also a Previous Session High and Low
i have 9to5 during new york session. is there a london version?
What pairs do you use this strategy in ?
This is same as break and retest within a specic period per day. ICT just call it a a bunch of different names i think

can this be traded only 8.30-11am NY time?
Could the same strategy work in NY afternoon or London open? if it did, what high/lows would you have to look at? always the previous 8.5 hours?
Strike rate?
Hello Ethan. So the starting hour is 8:30 ny not 9:30 when new york session starts?… this hour applies on indices as well or just on forex (eur-usd especially)?
Thanks!
Indices traders trade at 9:30 because NYSE opens at 9:30, NY forex session opens at 8:00am.
The example at 10:19 isn't the furthest FVG, there is one below your entry which looks like it narrowly missed being tapped into so not following the rule of 'furthest FVG'?
true, what I personally see is a bullish order block in the displacement leg that price doessn't close below. If price dug into the BISI then I'd be expecting it to be reaching for higher time frame internal or external Sell side LQD inverse to what was most recently taken.
edit: im noob do own reseach
I think he is correct because is taking the first FVG after the Market Shift ;)
So scary because how simple it looks but the speed of the 1 min is scary and I scalp too. Props to him skilled indeed
Thank you my good sir!

When moving to New FVG points what makes you want to do this. Is it simply the gap in price pr is there something else. I know what SMC stands for but what does ICT stand for.
Inner Circle Trader
After the sweep of liquidity when do you stop chasing the MSS and accepting the trading is going in the other direction?
Until session time has expired
why does everyone seem to change the times for the silver bullet in the AM session - ICT clearly states midnight to 3am for the highs and low and trade between 3-4am. Where does 8.30 to 11 am come from out of curiosity or am I missing a trick?
3-4am ny is 8-9am uk time
I have a question about this, how do I determine the FVG ?
He gave yall the sauce....whatchu gone do wit it?
Sometimes, there are things that happen in the charts. Which if read correctly, can lead to positive outcomes..

Thank you for showing losses! Most RUclips traders don’t show the losses. The best thing anyone can do to improve their trading is to learn how to lose or just take the loss and move on.
So you are saying that the end of the Asian session is 13:30 UK time? I would have thought the Asian session ends 07:00/08:00am UK time which then translates to 02:00/03:00 NY time. Perhaps you can clarify please?
just calculate the difference between the time zones
Agreed. He’s confused it I guess 😅
We are using NY time when using ICT concepts

Wow, I just looked at my live chart EURUSD and added Sessions and FVG and saw the trade play out in real time(entry was around 7.38 NY time though)
Opps it was too early, it actually swept the high right now, I will lok for masrket status switch and fvg.. exciting
his strategy is to wait for structure break then to take entry in the opposite direction of the trend?
basically if price sweeps the low of asian session than you're looking to buy & IF price sweep the high of asian session than you'll be looking for sells
@@Uglyboii613 if it sweeps the high or low of both asia and london but mostly london it seems
@richbalkissoon5322 that's how I trade it. I don't use Asian highs n lows. Just London. But if price is already above or below than I'll look for higher time frame inefficiencies like previous day low or high
so basically, 2022 menthorship
done this on the 1min but not as structured as this one I still got 64% win rate at 1.5/1 not bad but I am going to back test this one

I find it kinda interesting because as far as I understood, our example in this video is only one trade per day which seems kinda slow for me.

I don’t understand the session times. The Asian session starts first followed by the London. But he has the Asian directly followed by NY?
Also, I noticed he said he had the London as the Asian when setting his indicator??? If that’s the case, why doesn’t he just say the H&L of the London? Or am I on drugs????

Props to the lad, but how the hell is that Asian zone? I guess if he likes to see it that way then it is what it is.
What he looks at is actually the intra-day highs and lows before the CME open. Asian session is totally another time zone.

he messes with the chart entirely too much. always moving it around zooming in and out for no reason at all even during talking that doesn't need a demonstration. No idea why people do that it's super annoying. The whole point of showing someone something is to stop moving it around zoom it in and explain what you are doing.
ICT silver bullet.
It’s not lol
@@aer300k4 it is pretty much silver bullet except for the time frame in which he takes the trade.
Ict focuses on the draw on liquidity which doesn’t exist in this strategy so this strategy is mainly going against the market trend every single time with a shift in market structure I appreciate your effort but to be real this isn’t how ict teaches to trade and I personally no way I would enter a trade without a draw on liquidity it’s gambling I have tried that for 3 months straight just be carful new ict students
do you personally find the draw on liqudiity?
Discounted price? What? There's nothing discounted in spread betting. You enter to buy, speculate price is going up, or sell, speculate price to go down. You choose your risk i.e. lot size and away you go. Why does discount ever come into it? ICT nonsense I think.
Premium and Discount are levels where market makers place them orders. Ict himself helped people to write the Algo that drive the markets, You are a naive If You thing that markets are driven by the supply&demand, is just algorithmic orice delivery, tested for yourself and U will came up with the same conclusion.
@Gabriel C ICT wrote the algorithms? I don't believe you. Prove it.
@@gabrielc5642 no he didnt. Youre misunderstanding him. He wrote an algorithm which is his ICT strategy, which beats the interbank price delivery algorithm that drives markets. His algorithm is just the trading system that he teaches.
@INFRARED X-RAY okay. I still think ICT is nonsense. I don't mean the general strategy but the concepts and terminology. He's simply taken methods that already existed and given things new names, but he's also added unnecessary new complex detail to simple trading. Like the discount and premium thing. That's a load of bollocks. I only started trading a few months ago, so I'm very inexperienced and lack any bias towards one strategy or another. But I've studied a lot in the last few months, and when I came across ICT, I could smell a rat immediately.
@@mattstanbridge no bro... ICT STARTED all that "nonsense"...and these methods that "already" existed
It doesn't work. Like everything else on his content. Just think, if trading is that simple (just draw two horizontal lines wait to break one of them and take a oposite direction😂), why more than 90% of traders fail challanges. It's a clickbait like everything else. Think with your own head and don't be fooled by this "simplified ict strategies". It's complicated for a reason.
Every time the price sweeps liquidity there's a potential for retracements. If you observe it in HTF like 1D or 4H you would get a bias for the day. Which is different to the current trend. You can be bullish but price grabs liquidity out of a 4H level, if you see a strong reaction to the downside, you can sell and target a liquidity area in the discounted area.
When you do it in smaller time-frames it has more noise but also works. I personally use 15min for the liquidity grab and 1minute for MSS-FVG
It is THAT easy. The problem is that traders' expectations are too high and they don't understand probabilities. Even if you use this method you can get a losing streak of 6-7 trades in a row...like 3-4 days losing consecutively. But in the long term, this method has a 50% average win rate with 1:2RR.
I've seen traders using this method and getting a bad streak and they start adding or removing things without giving it time. And I'm talking about traders who live trade every day.
I don't even know if this guy trades, he's more in the crowd of "testing ICT strategies" than trading them live. And that's ok, I don't judge him or criticize him.
And there's a bias in your comment. Failing challenges doesn't mean you can't be a profitable trader, challenges conditions are unrealistic when they're limited time.
If you risk 1% or even 0.5% I bet you whatever you want you will never lose a challenge. It will take you longer to pass it and you won't get a fixed return every month but it'll be profitable long term.
Passing challenges doesn't make you a pro trader either. You can literally use hedging or even gamble in support and resistance and pass it.
Can this be coded to an EA?
I'm currently doing this for my Robot Lab Live guys.
@@FXBillionaire Mostly complete. 1 or 2 more weeks max I would say.
