Amazing getting to hear french commentators (Wenger not the least - COYG) reaction. "It`s terrible, its terrible. We've been in a fairytale until now..." .. "He made us dream so much...he made gave us so much happiness". Well, he did to the rest of the world as well (i`m from norway). What an absolute giant of a player, captain and person!
I remember when I was watching television as a child and I couldn't stop crying after this happened because Zizou was my absolute Hero.... Even my mom couldn't stop me from crying.

it is a fuck up, but it's an easy one to forgive imo. Materazzi insulted his sister then his mother and his mother was very sick at the time so it got to him... I can understand that. Plus it's Zizou, we got our first world cup because of him, we owe him our forgiveness.

At least he was player of the tournament + was arguably MoM in the final as well. His ending wasn't too bad compared to the ending C.Ronaldo had - that right there is truly tragic
