Just like there are Luo of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, same applies to Somalis of Kenya and Somalia, its all about boundary that separates us. Most of them feel awkward when they are asked about Somalia when they have citizenship of their motherland Kenya. They do occupy the eastern part of Kenya.

It's a lie. Eastleigh changed mid 90's when Somalia civil war caused a flooding of Somalia refugees into Kenya. All the years before it was an ordinary Nairobi residential neighborhood with little business activities.
I think most confuse the Somali tribe from Somali the country. Kenyan Somalis are very good in business.

The Kenyan Somalis are native to Kenya and not immigrants. That is the difference! Of course there are also immigrant Somalis in Kenya from neighbouring countries e.g Somalia. But you cannot take away the fact that there are Kenyan Somalis!
