This is one of the most useful travel breakdowns I've ever watched from a world traveler in the RUclips space. Great work man, super straight forward and right to the point. Hope you keep making these amongst your other passion pursuits and content.
Loved the video as I'm just about to head to Jordan for the first time and Egypt for the second I love seeing stuff like this that brakes it down to show people that you can actually travel for cheap ish. Great work keep it up.
So greatful for your videos !.im going to follow your route this September. First time also traveling to this country's as a back packers so im very happy to use this info as a guidance!
Oh my gosh this was so helpful and the breakdown was easy to follow! Whenever I did research, it always seemed like a lot but I will definitely use to this to help plan my trip there! Thank you!
Thanks for your insightful content. I’m going to Jordan for a week in February. I bought return tickets from Athens on a Ryanair sale and got the flights for around €40 return (great bargain, includes a seat and 10kgs luggage). Flying into Aqaba and out from Amman. Looking forward to it. Planning to take the King’s Highway to the north via Petra and the Dead Sea, visiting some of the sights in your Jordan program. Your budget breakdown made my planning much easier. Cheers, Lomon.
I am Salem, I live in the desert of Wadi Rum, and I thank you very much for advertising about Wadi Rum. Thank you, and I hope you will visit Wadi Rum again.👍🏼🥀🥀
Love your channel, bro. I think I've seen literally everything you've posted on here. Definitely very helpful and a huge inspiration. Keep up the good work.
I went to Jordan and Israel for 10 days in 2012 and my total was around £700 for both. I don't think prices have gone up that much since then. Now I got an extremely cheap return flight to Amman from London for only £120. It was luck. You are very unlikely to get anything below £300. In Jordan I stayed in decent hotels for £15-£25 per night. Entry to Petra was £60 for 3 nights. And the food was cheap everywhere so long I ate where locals eat. Hashem restaurant in downtown Amman is an institution where for £3 you can eat like a king.
Wow, but even the flight from the UK to Egypt was pretty expensive. How much was the transport from Jordan to isreal? And how was the border crossing? I really want to do it, too
Yeah I explained more about the flights in the Egypt budget video, basically I booked them last minute so they cost a lot more than usual. That taxi from Wadi Rum to Aqaba took me straight to the border. The crossing was a pain, because I was travelling by myself I got an absolute grilling from the border security, asking where I've been, what my job is at home, loads of stuff.
Hi mate. Can you please include travel insurance costs on your further cost breakdowns? Or even advise how you got about keeping yourself covered on your adventures? Im using world nomads when i go SE asia in September and is quite a large fee to consider when budgeting for travelling. Loving the breakdown vids btw and hoping to see Antigua series soon 🍻
