I mean, I’m a brain injury sufferer myself (granted, 2-D’s would be significantly more significant than mine), and I can honestly say that memory works... strangely. Like, my brain is friend. I have trouble with concrete maths and sciences, which a lot of brain injury patients struggle with. But, much like 2-D, I had a natural inclination for music and the arts and a lot of exposure to it at a young age, and that just kind of stuck. It’s very dependent, I think, on what parts of your brain exactly are injured, because, in my case, I’ve forgotten the first 13 or so years of my life, but I could pick up a guitar and pound out a song I learned 7 years ago and haven’t played since with no difficulty
Back in phase one 2D barely remembers being hit or nearly dying and was so up Murdoc's ass and in phase three 2D is disturbingly lucid and smart and very quick witted.
TheNamelessNarrator I do really like how the characters are developing as the band keeps going, it adds a nice bit of life to the whole thing, it'd run the risk of getting stale otherwise, but having 2D get all deep and philosophical about the music they make, and calling Murdoc out on being an idiot is really great stuff. Who knows, maybe in an album or 2, 2D could be the pack leader.

I feel like the reason why I love 2D so much is because I connect a lot with him. No matter how hard I try, people sometimes don't understand what I'm trying to say. My science teacher treats me like Murdoc treats 2D as well.

He's probably not taking as much pain pills now, still a bit high but is now fully aware of everything. From what I can tell from the DoYaThing music video, he wants to be friends with Murdoc and pretty much still has Murdoc living with him. Of course he still gets abused though. I think in one radio station where they were hosting for it, Murdoc was actually being kind to 2-D, I read that Murdoc took some medicine and he pretty much didn't do a thing to 2-D. He was probably just playing it cool for the listeners though. As for the iTune Session interviews though, Murdoc was just a pure shithead there.

I know this is a really late reply, but this is something I was curious about, too. I looked it up and found out that 2D has 8-ball fractures, also known as hyphema (where blood fills up the front part of the eye). In other words, 2D still has his eyes (they weren't really knocked out or anything), but they seem black because there is blood in the front. He can still see through them, though.

From what I can tell from the DoYaThing music video, he wants to be friends with Murdoc and pretty much still has Murdoc living with him. Of course he still gets abused though.
I think in one radio station where they were hosting for it, Murdoc was actually being kind to 2-D, I read that Murdoc took some medicine and he pretty much didn't do a thing to 2-D. He was probably just playing it cool for the listeners though. As for the iTune Session interviews though, Murdoc was just a pure shithead there.

I know this is a really late reply, but this is something I was curious about, too. I looked it up and found out that 2D has 8-ball fractures, also known as hyphema (where blood fills up the front part of the eye). In other words, 2D still has his eyes (they weren't really knocked out or anything), but they seem black because there is blood in the front. He can still see through them, though.
