If you want to support the channel you can buy PS5 compatible SSD's through this Amazon Affiliate link from which I earn commission:

I prefer the cheaper option: I bought a 2 tb external discdrive. You can install and play your PS4 games from it and, as for the PS5, you're never gonna need to have 7 or 8 games install in the internal storage, so I just have the games I'm playing on there and the rest I move them to the HDD and move then back (which is WAY quicker than reinstall them or download them). It's more than 3 times cheaper and you lose nothing. These SSD are absurdly expensive. Unless you guys are rich and have plenty of money to waste, don't bother.

Sure, but you still get slower loading times for the PS4 games and 100€ is easily affordable for most people in well developed countries.

I got an SSD as soon the update the was available in 2021. Have a 2tb internal SSD and a 2tb external SSD for PS4 games. It's nice having all that storage currently external has like 400gb left and my internal has 1tb left! With a little over 100 games installed. Do not look forward to whenever I run out hehe...But it's nice having worry about space at least for the time being.

Wait the ps5 has cultured games, I thought Sony was trying to outdue 90's Nintendo.

Yeah I have a 2 TB SSD to my ps5 and bloody hell it is so nice but I wouldn't mind waiting to get a 4 TB that wasn't the cost of the console.

I haven't had this issue too much so far since a lot of the games I play are relatively small like 35GB or under and many around the 8GB to 10GB range so i can still work decently around them, but the few outliers do take up a chunk usually around 70-90GB. I might not get a SSD now with a PS5 Pro being rumored and I will for sure upgrade to it when I have the money whenever it comes out if it comes out, so I will likely hold off for now and see how things go.

I bought the 1tb SSD for ps4 or not-so-demanding ps5 games while the big PS5 titles stays in the internal storage. My only regret is buying the PCIE Gen4 SSD too early! Back when Gen4 SSDs was still relatively new to the consumer market, they was way too expensive! If I buy it now it's only half the price I paid for!

I totally agree about the storage space, 2TB is more than enough (especially you're not the only one who uses the PS5), 1TB can be a bit small if you have a couple of games that requires lots of space.

I already knew about it. But, this is a lot better (not necessarily easier*), but the consumer has more choices compared to team Xbox.
*But this is still very easy. Just saying putting in a memory card is easier.

On the xbox series X/S you can use this sdd any consoles, like me i download the game in my sdd card and i can put this sdd on my brother xbox and i can transfer the game i was download that means me and bother don't need to download the same game with not compromise the internet, the other thing you can run any game on xbox sdd compared to playstation its big deal.

I would have gotten an sdd to expand my ps5 storage but my first gen ps5 overheats when playing ps5 games without any warning so I can't play intense ps5 with a lot of loading or graphically intense games.

Hey YSN, your thumbnail says SDD instead of SSD
