  • On this video I am showing how to replace by yourself Renault Megane I BA series (1.4 petrol engine), brake pads and brake rotors and along with this, since I stripped one brake rotor screws, how to replace front wheel hub..
To be honest this work can be like 20 minutes work or it can be 2 days work until you get all the pats.
For this work you will need spare parts, torx 30 bit along with torx 40 bit and a big hammer, power drill with hammer function, set of different sockets, some spinners(17mm), copper grease, tools to lift up your car, and tool to press back the brake piston, but if your piston is in good condition, you can work with basic pressing tool and some other things, which I didnt mention but you can see on the video.
Overall, if you get to drilling part and you dont succeed, don't worry too much, since a new bearing and hub does not cost fortune, however you will have to spend extra 40 dollars, what can be cheaper if you just skip all the drilling and buying stripped screw removing tools ( I spent approx.. $25 on those tools, didnt help at all).
Overall I did this job for the first time on this Renault and I dont do this every day, so if I can do it I dont see why you could not do it :)
