I was an old school trucker doing roping and sheeting. When you tie the end of your tarp it should be like an envelope runs the water away from your load. Pull the two ends together then bring the top over like an envelope Love your channel. Regards from the UK.
I guess having a personal relationship while employed as a female truck driver is tuff as you seem to be always on the go. You seem to be a very nice person with a bubbling personality and love how you present your programs. Thanks for all the entertainment! Grandpa Jon
Hook (Two) 2 inch straps on the front pallet along the top of all of the pallets, then hook the straps at the back of the last pallet, then throw your regular straps over in the gapped areas as a support for the tarp so it can stay nice and tight.
To keep tarps from having holes worn in them from bunji cords, take a plier or channel lock pliers and clamp the hook going through the cord together, so the sharp ends from rubbing the tarp. You could also use small strips of duct tape over the bent hooks. To protect the tarp from other sharp edges, use carpet squares over the sharp edges.
You do such a good job, I’m so proud for you. Did u know that ur dog just constantly looks up at you adoringly and watches you the whole time ur driving and backing? So cute!! 🥰
Retired otr used to live in Vegas. Used to park the truck at the TA on Blue Diamond. Shopping/food all within walking distance and the bus stop across the street.
God bless you guys still making money, I haven't been driving for 3 months, got Sick" badly from California..I wish i could do flat beds"...flat beds is not for the" Weak"....stay safe you all out there...
Some parts that are machine to finish dimensions can't get wet or they will rust. once they are assembled and installed it won't matter if they get wet
Another fine Video BRB. The thing about running flat deck your alway learning new and better ways to secure a load and have all the proper equipment so that your load gets there safely with no damage to your equipment. It takes time to learn it all. Always love your attitude. Hope you get back for your July 4 th weekend. Thanks for posting. Have a great and a safe day, happy trails to you…D
What is the average pay for being a long distance truck driver? People say there are no good paying jobs but you prove the point as a hard working and very diligent person!
i found a old reciept when i used to drive in 70s for mcdonalds i paid 30 cents for a fish burger in iowa back when pockets where full of dimes and quarters and pennys lol.actually we needed them to call dispatch on pay phones
BRB, there is a Flying J at Aurora, CO, about 75 miles west of Limon, a Pilot at Grand Junction, then a Flying J franchise in Utah about an hour west of the Colorado state line
Your dog was cute watching you the whole time you were backing up. They do a good job taking care of you and vice versa. I've been thinking lately about getting a CDL. What's your favorite thing about trucking?
Hang in there you’re doing a very good job. I know it’s not easy out there. I’ve been there and I done it for close to 30 years. You’re a very good driver and a good worker and any company. Should be proud to have you working for them even your brother is safe. I hope you make it home for the Fourth of July.
If you get that load or similar, place some dunage lengthwise over the gap. It'll give you a surface to roll the tarp and provide a better air flow over and around.
Hi Becca, watched your video of you struggling with the rusty trailer landing gear, how about carrying a spray can of WD 40 oil lubricant.Best wishes from a retired UK trucker.👍
Been meaning to ask this question for months now I don’t understand the advantage or disadvantage or the purpose for a step trailer it seems like that upper part isn’t used all that much why run something like that
I saw a car with 4 people in it hauling a mattress on the roof and instead of tying it down each person had their window down and they were holding on to it as soon as they hit 30 mph that mattress was laying in the road! Common sense is in short supply on this planet!
I run RGN lowboy moving heavy equipment, the chains get hot here in the Phoenix, Arizona area during summer. Keep up the good hard work BRB😊. Here like a week ago I seen you or your brother on I-10 going through Phoenix,AZ East bound.
Use to run RGN and loved every minute of it. Always something new and learn and your skills got tested all the time. My claim to fame was over width, over length over height, over weight that was my specialty. I miss it for sure. I use to run a lot of heavy duty equipment in and out of the bush in British Columbia Canada. Talk about grades..
That Love's in Las Vegas is where I fuel up whenever I Get a load out of Los Angeles and they make me take the 15. They don't want me to fuel in California so I'm always stretching a tank from Kingman AZ into Cali all the way to Vegas back out of it. Gotten close to empty a few times.
Becca, I carried mail for 36 1/2 years. I know that you could have done my job, But I can honestly say that I`m not sure that I could have done your job. Be safe and keep on trucking.🙂 Happy 4th if we don`t hear from you before then. Hope you get home in time to be with family.
That load looked like it would be awful to tarp, came out nice tho. Nice meeting ya in Vegas, my grandbaby was asking where you went when we left. I think she was tired of listening to all the guys talk all day. 😂
The straps are definitely in the best places. The top pieces of wood may puncture your tarps? If you had some padding on the top wood pieces that would protect your tarps.
Nice job tarping a difficult load. When I saw the bolts sticking out of the tops of the pallets I knew you were gonna get a few holes...bummer. Get a few foam swimming pool "noodles" you can cut to size for future situations. Hope you have a good 4th wherever you wind up!!
Hey big rig becca you need to get yourself one of those ladders for flatbed I’ve been doing flathead work almost all of my time driving and jumping down from the trailer will play havoc on your back and knees in the future but keep up the good work you look awesome ❤
Hey big rig becca, good to see you allmost missed your vid today had a tornado come thru today very strange for. Here ,by anthony t x ,nm down where you ran into carlos. Tore off roofs snapped power poles wires down all over, tipped our screening plant over, went from103* instantly to buckets full of hail 85mph winds, no warning came out of no where, but the main thing ,,caught your vid careful with them tarps!❤❤❤
yup! yes Mam. the Grrl BRB! rail wheels R very heavy! pull'n that hill.. thanks for the vid! get'n it knocked out in this 100 degree heat!!! wooh! ah good luck making it 2 the buckeye! hi 4 Grams! sorry hope I made cense!
BigRigB😎cca, Thanks for the video, you always brighten my day . I love your videos. Hope to meet you someday, you are AWESOME! sending you Much love from Smyrna Tennessee.
Hey isn’t it about time to have a guest appearance by your mom on the truck with you for about a week or so? Maybe you can bring her West and your brother can meet up with you and take her East. I think that would be a hoot!😊😊
Been watching your vids since you were working with your dad and step-mom and still smile when you laugh. Another great video thanks Becca
Total badass in that backup sequence!
Really? I was gonna delete that 🤣🤣 thank you 😊🫶🏼

Can't imagine anyone not appreciating your work ethic and ready smile and laughter. Be well.
Safe travels Becca you are good at what you do. You made backing up with a trailer look easy. You were using your mirrors like a pro well done.
Moving pads, on sharp edges like the pallet boards, will help save your tarps. They are fairly cheap at Harbor Freight

I never tapped those. Your broker hosed you on that trip.
Just pass you going south on 15 as you were going north outta there 😂 awesome video as usual 💪
I knew it was going to be a good video because it started off with you laughing and a Whoop Whoop! Be Safe Girlfriend. Miss You, love those nails!
Should keep some offcuts of carpet or underlay to place over the sharp edges to help stop with the damaging your tarp.
Cheers from Au
SHE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS...❤❤❤❤❤❤
