Watching you starting and finishing of the thread, reminded me of something my now late Mum told me. I'm a student at the RSN. I was at Mum 's and got my practice hoop out. Started to attach my thread to the fabric, using the method you show, and she asked to see my tiny stiiches. I handed over my hoop. Much to my surprise she handed it back with a smile and the words, "Those are ok. If I could see them, they'd be too big!" . She was amazing with needle, thread and fabric. I miss her beyond words.
Just getting in to hand embroidery and came across this video. WOW! I’ve never seen such beautiful colors and design hand stitched before! So elegant and classy looking! Thank you for sharing this! I will definitely continue watching and subscribe!
Beautiful tiny work, nice colors. I would like to watch more of your videos 💗🌞 What is the fabric do you use for this design please? I love the color of the fabric
oh no lm just trying to teach myself to do a jacobean embroidery haha no expirence but just saw you have only done too videos what a disappoitment, as l really like your straight forward easy instructions..cheers from Canada
Amazing and beautiful. I already knew the stitches but i saw your video cause I love embroidery and the color combination you made is beautiful! But even with my laptop speaker 100% I could barely hear you... and I'm not hard of ear... I'd like the link to get the pattern (design), I couldn't find it in your blog.
De que país eres yo soy colombiana no entiendo tu idioma pero me encantas tus labores me conformo viéndote trabajar y donde puede sacar tus esquemas o dibujos , felicitaciones;
What specifically is the linen fabric you are using for this Crewel work tutorial. What is it called and is the a stitch count for the weave or not and where can it be purchased. I visited your website but there was nothing about details for linen fabric and crewel work. Your work is just beautiful and I've enjoyed your tutorial.
Your work is beautiful. You know how to curve the stitching so it emulates the natural curves of the leaves. Where can I buy the pattern? I looked at your website and I couldn't find it, but I'll double check.
El casquete está hecho con puntada bouillon o nudo francés (búscalo con ese nombre) y la bellota es sólo puntada de relleno hasta que quede gordito. Espero te sirva..
Hi,hope you don't mind me saying but your voice in parts is barely audible and I've got my laptop all the way up to the max..Thanks for sharing ,just great to gather inspiration from talented textile artists like yourself.
Although your needlework is beautifully executed, the camera was much too distant to see how the stitches were used. Your hands got in the way as well. Very frustrating.
Beautiful pattern, super cool sofa, and a good teacher...so WHY the unfortunate and frustrating camera placement? This video's sole purpose is to demonstrate and teach something that is happening at the end of a needle and they have the camera 2 feet away at that angle (we were supposed to see her thread the needle I guess? Good thing we probably all know how to do that already), with her hand in the way. I just dont know how thats overlooked. Grrr..i just know she had so much to teach me!
your left hand often covers your work for the camera, unfortunately we can't see the actual stitching procedure. Maybe the camera should be on the other side? thanks

Make little short stiches for the curves.

I found that if I went to full screen it is very close. Perhaps this will help you. Happy stitching.
She's right, the camera should be on her right side.
