I think that's a CCTV camera, it will be more shaky if filmed by a hand-held phone.

Camera man was on another floor and quite far away.
Camera man also spotted other adults much closer and most definitely alerted them.
It's even thinkable the camera man had a barrier between him and the kids as it might have been a different section of the building/mall.

Yes, I had watched some videos which showed cases of some playful children doing this and unfortunately, a few couldn't be saved on time.

The camera man may have alerted some people to help while he was filming. Without him you don't have the evidence of what had happened. This video could also be from a CCTV in the first place.
Strong prayers for the child and his life would be at risk if something happens and thankfully his friends saw what happen and try to pull him up to safety and great job to the the hero who helped the children out.

The hero boy is amazing because the escalator hand rails are moving, hitting the hero in the armpit area & he is reaching over it to hold the other boy which wouldn't be easy. The little girl was trying to help but she kept getting pushed away by the moving rails so glad she didn't fall too. Escalators are dangerous. I don't like using them as an adult so children should be with adults that are watching them closely. The important part is that they all are safe.❤ Angels!!!

if I was there, I would run to help the kids, not taking out my phone trying to gain some money selling the video to media.
The time it took the 2 kind man and woman (assuming they are not the parents) to reach the child, the cameraman could have done something more useful and life-saving. We are living in the times of Tiktok and RUclips, all for views. having said that, why was the boy caught in that situation? A mischievous adventure gone wrong?

There are two types of people in these kind of videos
1. People who appreciated the people who helped the kid
2. People who point out the cameraman not helping (which is 90% happening)
Can't blame them though.
Make sure not to help at all. Gotta make sure to film it. Recording ⏺ videos 📹 & posting them online for views, clicks & money 💰 is MORE important than helping to save a child's life you know. Remember folks... it's all about that bag 💰!
