Thanks for the video, it's been very useful and informative. I love the vampire genre, I recently finished reading Interview with the Vampire. What an amazing book.
I read Interview and the Vampire Lestat in high school. I remember liking the latter more (Louis is so whiny in Interview while TVL had a lot more action and dove into some lore as well). Maybe my opinion would be different if I read them as an adult, though. The movie, however, is a masterpiece. One of my two favorite vampire movies (the other being the first Blade movie… for completely different reasons). Do you have a favorite vampire movie? 🧛
@@Todd_OutstandingEnglish I just adore Anne Rice, she was so talented. Yes, Louis can be whiny at times, but the character building is remarkable in The Vampire Chronicles series, and we see that Louis isn't always a reliable narrator. However, I will read your recommendation, since you say it dives more into the lore. My favourite vampire movies are probably IWTV and Let me in (which is also based on a book).

Never heard of Let Me In but it looks good from the synopsis I found. Might need to stream it next time the kids go to bed early.
