    I'm an iPhone 7 plus user. But I decided to buy this 2 weeks ago. You know what.
    I actually have to say. I love the design of this phone. It's perfect.
    All it needs is a few software tweaks and I might decide to go with it completely.
    The review is only a fair one.
    I've seen better.

      William Boyce - good to know, Im an iphone user buy have been growing quite bored of iOS and a little frustrated with the platform at times, yet everytime I tried android out I always came back because something about it was always worse...

      @williamboyce4030 7 лет назад +2

      Yes I understand what you mean.
      I think it's a case of having to just jump in.
      But I still have my iPhone on reserve lol

      William Boyce might have to do just that. Lot of potential here as this is the first blackberry and android to excite me in a while. Love what Im seeing of their spin on the interface.

    a KEYone with BB10 would be awesome

    •  7 лет назад +4

      The Passport SE with Nougat would be awesome too..I prefer the Passport form factor and key size, I love BB10, but I really need whatsapp, native yotube app, Snapchat, Facebook, etc...Pitty BB drop it.

      BB10 was so good

      Big_O Jajaja, Blackberry's with Android cant be rooted, BB10 OS is absolutely imposible to root also. Xda developers put a 1000 Usd price and nobody could root the Priv.

    •  7 лет назад +1

      Yes, but that's another thing, I did it too. It's not rooting, it's porting an app. We'll, in the end that's why we love BB, most secure phones. (Xda Developers rooted the "Most secure phone" The Black Phone in 15 min.)

      While I love the flow of bb10 im very happy with the android berry setup. Needs a bit of work. But the shortcuts work with a lot more apps. Eg checking traffic in your location with only one press, switching to driving mode with one press, one press of a button to navigate away from somewhere unfamiliar, hub works with more apps etc. The long press and short press shortcuts are gold. Took me a while to start using short press shortcuts. Tried to use the priv like bb10. KEYone made me take it one step further.

    I bought it in a whim and I love it! It's not heavy like he says here in video... it feels perfect actually. Try it and you'll love it too 👍

    The physical keyboard is only slower for those who aren't properly used to it. takes practice.

    • @PetulaGuimaraesz
      @PetulaGuimaraesz 7 лет назад

      I agree. This is exactly the same for those who transitioned from the physical to the on-screen.

    • @bludshed4816
      @bludshed4816 7 лет назад +2

      Only better, as once you get used to feeling your way around it, you can type much quicker and more accurately on the physical keyboard without having to look at it. And, lets not forget the shortcuts!

    Lack of brightness was deal breaker for me. Tried it out for a couple days, but ended up going back. Super well built phone and I wanted to like it, but need a screen that doesn't need to be maxed out to see outdoors.

      Samir Noor keep in mind, all these reviewers on all these different channels (like what, at least 15 different reviews I've seen so far) were all using preproduction units, and B.B has stated the production model will have software upgrades.

      Good point. I wonder if this will be the next step as they wanted to give a good option for a better price before. PS: better price at NA, because here the phone is cheaper than in UK

    I am using the iPhone 6Plus and thinking about to get the keyone because i was a blackberry user and i totally love the design of this phone. I have watched lots of videos about it and some people said that this phone is laggy. Because my 6plus is very slow and lots of lag now. Do you think i should buy another phone like the galaxy or i should go for the keyone? Many thanks!

    • @dmoz47
      @dmoz47 7 лет назад +2

      subpopstar2 Samsung phones are pretty well known for slowing down in the long term. it's because Samsung adds a lot of their own software which does improve the experience, but bogs the phone down once you've had it for a while.
      I'm sure people will come at me with their experience of Samsung phones staying fast long term, that's great. your one experience isn't really holding any ground, and if you had a great experience that's good and I have nothing against that, not doubting you.
      Android phones close to stock (ie BB, Sony, OnePlus(?), and Pixel/Nexus) are best speed wise long term (from what I've seen/read/heard). iPhones typically stay fast if you don't update them past their major OS they came with (ie keep an iPhone 7 off of iOS 11 and higher).
      with any phone, speed can be maintained by taking care of what you have in storage and what apps you install
      hope this helps :)

      I would say this is true of LG as well, and I have used Android before BB10, then Windows 8 and now going to this mix of Android + BB that is the Keyone. Seriously, I think other than Windows 10 most of those phone slag after a while as they OS is a beast plus all the huge amount of updates.
      Updates scare is true for all phones! Be wary because updates help to keep top of the line phones top of the line, which my make your average phone slower. So, yep, I think David M is spot on.

      The KEYone only hangs up for me occasionally when too many apps are open. Otherwise a great communicator.

    @William Boyce, how do you like the customizations? Having owned a BB 10 before I find it merges the best of Android with the best of BB. I find this review the fairest one: ruclips.net/video/MqsKdqRJgqw/видео.html
    People need to see that reviewing a phone means really showing what it can do and let the users decide by themselves. I hate those reviews of "this is not for me" or "this is not the best phone". This is suggestive and subjective.
    I had all sorts of phones, including previous BB and Windows phones, which are considered damaged goods by people who never even tried them. I know from experience that you can like this phone even if you love your iPhone or your Samsung. You don't have to buy it, but one can truly acknowledge how good this phone is. Also in North America this is a lot more affordable than in the UK, not sure why.

    My Keyone started off great(I've had it for 14 months) and now it has connectivity issues, doesn't load certain apps, websites, Wi-Fi works only sometimes. This is after I did a reset because it had even worse issues, thinking it would help. It didn't. This is a known issue between BlackBerry and Sprint, and neither have released a fix for it. So I'm stuck with a phone that only works when it wants.
    Do not buy these phones!

    Just give your opinion about the phone, period. Stop trying to influence people's buying decision when it come to the product by saying who will or won't buy and why they shouldn't buy the keyone.
    You say such positive things then you turn around and recommend certain people not buy it ? Odd way to do business.

      For web browsing, file managing, switching between already open apps and going back to unfinished messages.
      KEYone does a lot of things better also. Pity they couldn't adopt all of bb10's strengths.

    Yeah maybe ten years ago this was "nearly perfect" damn near really messed up purchasing this phone. If you have anything like the iPhone 7+ (I have this as well) or any of the Samsung phones from the past two years.. then you have a better phone. It's laggy, the capacitive button placement is horrendous. The fact that you can't program the space bar to be a home button is almost as criminal as it gets on a phone level. The hub makes no sense anymore as it hardly aggregates anything to the point of understanding if you have any amount of notifications coming in from any apps. The processor is a complete and utter joke, and don't even get me started on the camera that all these RUclipsrs rave about being "the same as the pixel, with only a stabilization factor missing".. yeah well that makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I'm just saying that as a consumer that absolutely loved their blackberry back in the day and really purchased this for nostalgic purposes and the fact that it was supposed to help you be more production.. yeah that one is not even remotely close as you will wait longer for it to run a task then you would have just been better off using a more capable device in 2017. This phone is at most made for no later then 2012 and it just makes no sense. I'll be returning this.

      Who said anything was wrong with variety? I simply said this COULD HAVE been one of the best on the market had they actually put some work into it.
