      @khoshekh_float 2 месяца назад +2

@painghoull personally I don't think there's a difference at all when it comes to taste! The only thing I noticed is the mixture is a little darker in colour when using dark brown instead of light brown sugar

@@khoshekh_float ohh thank u so much!! but also, sorry i know ur not an expert, but they always turn out overbaked and not gooey and i use normal milk but loads of recipes use skimmed milk, does it make a difference?

@@painghoull Don't apologise it's ok! Honestly I'm not too sure, it's possible it has something to do with the difference in fat content in the milk? I'd definitely recommend just testing different things tho, have fun with baking! Not everything has to go to plan all the time :>

Melt 1/2 cup of butter (browned)
    Add 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    Add 3/4 cup brown sugar
    Mix until well combined
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    Add 1 egg
Whisk until color turns slightly pale
Add 1 1/2 cup of flour
Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
Mix, add in chocolate chips, and continue mixing until well combined
    Now refrigerate for 30 minutes
Scoop out small balls of dough with a small ice cream scoop or a spoon (be weary with how many you have per baking sheet because they only have 6 per sheet)
Roll balls into spherical shapes and add extra chocolate chips on top
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes

ABOUT TO MAKE THIS, I'LL EDIT MY OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS WHEN I EAT THEMM 🫡 (11/27/2024)
Edit: okay, so I made TWO different batches with the same dough. I made the dough, and cut it in half
-With the first half, I made cookies WITHOUT putting it in the fridge. The cookies came out really good, but they were super pale, and for a while, I got really scared about eating them, but they weren't bad at all, however, I got really sick of the sweet taste. They spread out perfectly, had a nice shape, and overall, it was a decent cookie. With how I made it, I would rate it a 7/10
-With the second half, I let it rest in the fridge overnight, and made the bath the exact same way the next day, and when I took it out of the oven, the spreading was a little akward. They didnt really deflate, they kind of stuck with a fluffier ballooney type of shape, but I just used a cup to flatten them out. THIS BATCH CAME OUT AMAZING. even my family grabbed seconds! (they never eat what I make because im 15 so they dont trust what I make bc they think im not sanitary... ???) But they came out really good. had an AMAZING taste, not cakey, and it's like I could never get sick of the taste. With my attempt at this batch, I would say its a 9/10
Overall, this recipe is a MUSTTTT and GOD it's hard to mess this up. RUNNN TO YOUR KITCHEN AND TRYYY!!! (11/29/2024)
