Just looked at the Lexus dealer last week. We live in Poland and choices are slim, but the UX fits our needs and desires. We are so happy to have found your (The Car Care Nut) review, as you always answer all of our questions. Becasue you are a super qualified mechanic, you had some significant information when appropriate and helpful. You're reviews are tops! God bless you.
I recently bought a 2023 version of the UX Hybrid and it features an updated infotainment system, they've removed the track pad (and added seat heating and cooling buttons in its place), added a larger and wider touchscreen (also moved the screen forward on the dash), removed the CD player. The knobs on the air con vents no longer lights up in the dark.
We have a 2021 ux. The hybrid version has a much better ride either the battery weight helps or it’s sprung differently. Fit and finish is great. Little noisy but rides great and a pleasure to be in
Only on the very worst roads and on the absolute windiest day it might feel a little too sporty, but it’s as quiet as an ultra-luxury Lexus ES in almost all other conditions. I would never describe it as “noisy” it’s typically very quiet & smooth, and the 2023 is a quantum leap forward from the old MC platform in every conceivable way. I’m glad Lexus finally realized, “just because it’s small doesn’t mean it should feel any less luxurious.” A lot of shoppers want a refined, small vehicle and they hit a home run with this. I will never want nor need anything bigger but I want a luxury car, and this delivers on that
@@guppy360 Is the suspension too stiff in the F-Sport version? If we live in an area of, potentially, bad roads? Maybe because of the rundown Run flat tires? I believe, switching them, might get a lot better.
@@Marcoshary I just picked up a 2022 a month ago and have no issues with the touch pad. Took about a week to get use to it and figure out where everything is but after that it was fine. keep in mind that once to get everything set up to the way you like it, you aren't constantly changing it anyway.
I was looking for this video a few days ago when I was shopping for a 2020 UXh. I thoroughly enjoyed this video especially the technical side which was very lacking in other reviews. Keep up the good work!
This is much like the Toyota Cross. It's for a specific group of people, small family, young couple, or older couple without kids and need ability to carry few things comfortably. It's an upgrade from a Toyota but not as expensive as a full Lexus SUV. I for one wouldn't mind either the Cross or the UX now that I don't need a bigger SUV, even the RAV 4 is too much for my uses. On the value side, fully loaded Cross is almost $35K and the US 200 F Sport is about $1000 more, so it would make more sense to get the Lexus than the Cross.
We’ve owned a 2020 UX base and a 2022 UXh. Both outstanding. The UXh has a better ride and handling. Great gas mileage. Son is 6’2” at 175 lbs and fits fine. Dad is 5’9” and 285 lbs and can only be comfortable in the passenger seat. No negatives to report.
I appreciate your explanations in the area of the engine and transmission. So many car reviewers focus to much on style and feel. I love the detail and how you share the specific engine numbers and how long they have been around. You give us who seek reliability, confidence when looking for a Toyota product. Once again I’m am grateful for your hard work. Keep it up bub
Thanks AMD. I like this car very much. We don’t agree about the touch pad. I got a 2020 ES hybrid three weeks ago and I am super comfortable with the touch pad. There is no infotainment system that is a straightforward for everybody without playing with it for at least 10-15 days. That’s how much I needed to learn everything about this touchpad.
I just bought this car and I wasn't in the market but when I sat inside my only thought was, I want this. I feel like I'm in a cockpit, the windshield and door windows kinda just blend and give you a circular 180 degrees view like a cockpit, I don't know how they did it, but it sold me immediately. I like to be frugal, cars are a liability no an investment but now I'm 43 and the seats in my Corolla hurt now, I have sciatica, some lower back and right shoulder problems from an accident 7 years ago, the car is tight compared to other luxury models but if you're not a tall person, the comfort and coziness are amazing.
I never have much of a problem with the infotainment mouse or touch pad. Once you change the sensitivity in the settings your usually ok. Great car. Good review.
I have the 2019 F Sport UX 250H, and have really enjoyed this vehicle. 64,000 miles. All the finishes interior and out have held up well, Regular gas, 8 gallon fill up gives about 350 mile range. They have gotten rid of the track pad which I like better than reaching for a touch screen. Paddle shifters are useless in a CVT. I turned off the fake engine sounds. Apple Car Play works well (wired connection). Sound system is good for music. Quiet interior. The car is pricer now than when I bought it. It is a tough choice for my next car, considering a Model Y. No range anxiety, Fill up in 3 minutes. The interior is a little tight, but I am mostly driving alone. The car value has been very good for what you get in my opinion. It is very reliable.
The same excellent experience with the same UX 250h AWD F Sport: zero issues in 5 years (not even recalls). It is the leader of the subcompact luxury crossover segment.
I drive a Lexus CT200h. I was looking at the UX for the next ride. Thanks for the in-depth knowledge and focus you provide. I love efficiency and high quality materials. So good.
I bought the UX200 last year. I get 34 mpg. I never put people in the back, only my dog. I rarely use the touch pad, only at a standstill when I'm bored. Don't race around in it as it doesn't have the power to do so. I love it!! Perfect run around second car for me. My other car is a BMW X1 which I use for hauling large items and passengers.
hope to receive detailed information about the F, Sport, and Style versions. I'm nearly addicted to your channel; the narrative and explanations are excellent. 👌
@@codincoman9019 So I did buy a 23 UX in Blue F sport handling I am speechless the car that got me my most speeding tickets was my CT this one is not far beyond, it will pop 100 in short order for what it is!!! Love it!!!!
@@wglgee1347, enjoy it! I am surprised that I still like my 2019 UX 250h AWD F Sport (5 years, zero issues - not even recalls). I have 3 very different cars: the UX, a Miata ND2 RF and a new Suzuki Jimny. But the Lexus is the luxurious, comfortable, silent one.
Our new 2019 Lexus UX 250H F Sport has an Apple car play requiring usb cable and no touch screen function. The touch pad is a gimmick. Rear seats accommodate my 9 year old’s child seat. CVT cooler and engine promise our investment will be trouble free.
Thankyou Mr.AmD for this video. This is good for would be buyers of the Lexus UX models to know more about the car.My wife is expecting her 2022 Lexus UX hybrid next month (March).God Bless and Stay Safe.
Thanks for the video and all the work that goes into making them. Learn much about a vehicle that I did not know Lexus made. Keep up the good work and let all of your viewers know of the cooking channel news.
This is a very nice car. My wife owns 250h f-sport and the interior is very comfy. Not a fast car but very good daily car to drive. The infotainment is not a touch screen but I have never had problem with it as the touchpad is actually very easy to use. The e-four AWD on this car is good enough to drive in snow days. Too bad in NA we don't get the UK version which has sport+ mode, ML speakers and 360 degree camera.
Hi. Your videos are fantastic. Excellent information. Question: which is the difference between de V-6 2 GE and the V-6 3 GE. What kind of injection they have! Regards, Alfredo
I really like this UX. Drove hundred miles to get a pearl white F sport. My only complaint is the MPG. This 2 liter engine consumes more gas than my 2.5 liter Rav4. I also want to get rid of the run flat tires ASAP.
Have owned one for 4 months gets a bit to get used to. Once you read the manual it is really easy to use all the extras use the voice control it works really well yuo don't have to use the touch pad. My sons friend is 6 ft 4 and he had no complaints
UX was the first Lexus I drove. I was extremly impressed by overall quality. There was nothing spesific I could point. But it was very well driver focused and very good qality. Everything work well and it was extremely calm ride. EXCPET ON THING! Terrbile road noise. I agree with what you mentioned in your previous videos, that run flat tires are useless. I drove a model with run flat tires and road noise was unbearable. I felt like I was driving a comercial vehicle. I hope it is only because of the tires. I hope more comfortable tires would make the ride smoother, which I am looking forward to drive :) May god bless you, and have a wonderful day :)
Fyi, the noise is not the tires. Had the same car and added regular tires and the road noise did not change one bit. The issue is the front glass ( windshield and doors ) are very thin and therefore u hear all the wind noise. I ended up selling the car.
I once had an old guy tell me that he would always buy the most expensive base model car he could afford because the inherent goodness in the car was in the base model not the one with all the extras. And I kind of relate that to cars like this thinking would I rather have this or a slightly used or base model Rx or Es because the ride and drive quality and the sound insulation etc etc will all be higher on the better car in my opinion
@@yukonstriker1703 One of my all-time favorite cars, such a little rocket people totally missed the boat on that one (maybe not because a good one is still 16k or better) because when you think about it what is it really but a tall wagon with all wheel drive and a naturally aspirated V6 that makes almost 300 hp, even more so impressive when you go back to 2009 and think about some of the other cars on the road even some thing like a V6 mustang you’re still giving those cars and probably a good at least 50% of the cars on the road a run for their money if not faster at least 0 to 60e
@@FilmScape4K Obviously this wouldn’t work for every car or every occasion but the gist of it is like this would you rather have a fully loaded RAV4 or a base model highlander the Highlander rides nicer has a decent amount of standard equipment in a powerful V6 something along those lines.
Wow, you're closing in a quarter of a million subs!! ROCKSTAR!! Well deserved! I love that darker green color and agree with the touchpad...it's past time to go to a touch screen.
I drove the new UX for a week. The touchpad is for driving-oriented people, the touchscreen is for young snowflakes. A similar approach had Mazda on my 2019 Miata ND2 RF and I appreciate it.
A review of the base Lexus would have been better had the review of the base trim. Most Lexus buyers that consider the UX are just wanting the cheapest Lexus they can, knowing the build quality is #1. That was exactly my daughter's thinking when she bought her 2020.
The funny thing is, back in the 90's/00's Lexus had the best touchscreen nav/audio systems on the market, they were the world leaders in that area. Then they decided to ditch them in favour of a knob/trackpoint driven system in order to try and lure BMW drivers to the brand and it backfired spectacularly because BMW fans didn't want a Lexus, and it turned out Lexus fans didn't want a fake BMW iDrive in their car (shock). They eventually replaced it with the trackpad they use now but it's simply polishing a turd because they're too stubborn to admit that they made a mistake ditching touchscreens >.>
I test drove both UX and current gen Corolla hatchback precisely because they are based on the same TNGA-C platform despite huge diff in MSRP. I discovered that they are on different planets in terms of interior noise level especially @ highway speed and ride refinement(i suspect different springs & shocks used for UX). After these test drives, i looked for the reasons of that huge diff in noise level and found that aside from the engine bay insulation panels mentioned in this RUclips, the door & hatch sealings are more robust+elaborate on the UX than Corolla. The noise-absorbing materials inside the wheelwells also seem to be more heavy-duty on the UX. I can imagine more noise absorbing materials being used inside the UX bodyshell plus acoustic glass where i can't see from the outside. The RAV4 Hybrid i tried later has less difference in interior noise level but still inferior to the smaller UX. May be it takes upto a Toyota Venza to match the UX refinement level but then price of a comparably equipped Venza would be much higher than a UX....luckily, Venza offers more space than UX. I guess if u look closer at refinement details like i did, the notion of Lexus being just a Toyota with a nicer badge is purely b.s.
To add to your details: the UX has Aluminium panels and other parts such as the lower arms, better tuning (ECU included) thus better handling/ride, more refined design, paint, far better inside materials ensuring a softer touch, a better comfort, far better soundproofing and sound systems, the infotainment with the touchpad and control buttons in the armrest is perfect for people favouring the driving experience. Lexus UX is worth the additional money vs. the Corolla Cross or C-HR. Whomever says that Lexus is just a badge more than a Toyota is dumb or lies. I have a 2019 Lexus UX 250h AWD F Sport with ZERO issues in 5 years (not even recalls). I fully recommend it (used, verified) vs. the updated UX that doesn't have anymore the touchpad, the control panel/buttons at the tip of the armrest, the black plastic fenders above the wheels. It is the champion of the subcompact luxury crossover segment because it is the most reliable and it has the lowest TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) in the segment.
Thank you for reviewing this car. I reserved one (2022 F Sport Trim) about three weeks ago and it should be here any day now. Everyday that has gone by I was honestly wondering how you would feel about this car haha. I am even more excited for it to get here now! Thank you again #thecarecarenut !
@@VBar32 You still like it? I am considering possibly getting one. Im not really into SUV never had one but I have a 06 Lexus now want a newer one and this is the least expensive model. Do you find it "noisy" several people have said it's noisy inside as in road noise
@vapeking hello yes I still absolutely love the car. It’s more compact than a traditional crossover but that is perfect for me living in a big city. Amazing gas mileage and a truly posh interior it’s a pleasure to drive. I heard a few people say the same thing about road noise but the same people told me that the Venza was better. And while I know the Venza is a fine car I assure you the Venza makes significant more road noise than the UX. It’s a Lexus despite what other people say and it feels like a Lexus. The only complaint I have when it comes to noise is under heavy acceleration the engine is a little uncouth however it’s very comfortable and a wonderful car. I always recommend test driving first but if you do get one I hope you truly enjoy it.
Please review the 2023 UX hybrid model as well. Lexus seems to have addressed some of the limitations you noted in the 2022 model. I'm trying to decide bewtween the UX and NX hybrids. Thanks for all your hard work I love your videos!.
They changed the infotainment system to a touchscreen for 2023 and they made the cabin more quiet. The back legroom remains the same which is fine for singles and empty nesters.
Thank you TCCN. I have watched several of your videos and just decided to subscribe. I especially appreciate this video due to my recent interest in the UX250h.
CD player!!!! Touch poad can be circumvented by use of the Speech Recognition function. The only command missing is turning off navigation which needs three Touch Pad clicks!!! The P711 hybrid transmission is great. 181 bhp is more than enough.
Good review AMD .. I love the UX and also the CT( too bad they are gone). AMD, a few days ago I asked if you had the Torque Spec on the 2007 Camry LE, 2007 Yaris and 2009 XD transmission drain bolt since I'll be doing drain and fill on the transmission... Not sure if you had the chance to find out the info. Thanks AMD hope to hear from you soon
The CT is a positively ancient car now. Built on an ancient platform, with ancient tech. The CT never felt like a Lexus with all its road vibrations and compromises, and head gasket issues. The UX rights all the wrongs of the CT in a very stylish package
I truly hate the interface of my wife’s UX Hybrid. The mouse pad sucks and normal features like sync environmentals are hidden so deep into the menus. My Hybrid RAV is more intuitive.
Hello from Germany! Thank you so much for your interesting report. I think about buying the UX which at least in Germany is a quiet unknown car. Your video helps a lot. My wife is driving a Toyota Yaris hybrid ( a small city car) and we are very satisfied with the efficiency. Best wishes.
Not a single car or suv comes close to this sort of interior. If there is one name it.I `m a sucker for interiors and i think lexus does it better .Acura and lincoln are my second fav.
Great video you made about Lexus nx 2022 . Just bought one it's amazing. Keep up good work on Lexus and toyota products. If you like toyota or Lexus tell your friends about this channel.
Important fact left out in review of Lexus UX 250h: simple ratchet set and popping off engine cover allows replacing all 4 spark plugs well under 15 minutes saving hundreds of dollars in tuneup at dealer. Toyota Prius requires removing windshield wiper cowling.
I’m torn on the UX. It’s the spiritual successor to the CT200h so I like that.. essentially a more modern and lifted CT with next gen hybrid tech.. but instead I got my 21 ES hybrid. Same gas mileage. But I do like the design and looks and size of the UX. The ES is big and I really like the size of the UX. Still torn!
A bit strange to compare ESh vs UXh because: 1) At least 20% difference in base MSRP. 2) 1 has AWD as standard while the other can't get AWD even as an option....partly explain their similar mpg.
ES hybrid classy choice! Also i'd choose NX over UX for the extra 5000 dollars not only because it's bigger, AWD, also NX has the new infotainment system with the touch screen.
@@rightlanehog3151 that car was indestructible & could’ve bankrupted Toyota bec of it. 160k mi on the original clutch! PS: I learned to drive stick in the car.
My Lexus dealership lends me a UX when I service my NX. IMHO, it's just about the best town car, at least for our tight difficult roads we have here in Europe. Was particularly impressed with the drive train. Feels more responsive and launches more on battery off the green light than the NX. NVH is a good level down the NX though.
we had it 3 days and i like it a lot. Steering, handling, dampening, noise isolation, ride comfort, interior and seats and overall feeling is very good ! Bad was the visibility backwards, but new cars have that all it seems. The grill is ok. Interior is imo on a higher level than the new NX !! NX with all its gloss cheap plastic and boring passenger side is not my thing; if i want to drive a huge Display i buy a TESLA
Very eloquent and honest review. Very factual yet objective. I really appreciated this guy. Loved the details in the difference in CVT tech etc. He knows what's under the hood. Well done, mate. Will follow you guys.
Thank you for the awesome video. I think I am going to buy one of these, probably used a few years old. Your endorsement means a lot. Thanks again!!! May the Lord bless you and keep you also! :)
Buying a used UX 250h is an excellent idea, from all points of view: it is the leader in subcompact luxury crossover segment, being the most reliable and having the lowest TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) plus it has a lower resale value than it deserves (this is a huge differential toward the financial freedom) - I bought mine with 34% discount vs. MRSP in 2020 because it was driven 2 months, 1989 km at the end of 2019 - #2 deal of my life 😊 The most important is to buy one that was very well maintained, that you verify from all points of view. It will last some decades...
Nice vid, only just seen it! I've had a UX300e for over a year now in the UK and love it. Yes, it's not perfect, the slow rapid charging speed is one big gripe, but is ideal for what I need and the driving I do.
I must admit AMD, I was not overwhelmed by the other Lexus models you have reviewed yes quality is what Lexus is known for but style was also a factor for me, this one however I do like the look of. It is not just stylish outside but the inside is very attractive well laid out and thought was actually put into the extra front seating. Yes the deal breakers for me would be the rear leg room and the older style non touch screen infotainment unit even though as you showed the easy to reach and adjust controls are useful and well styled. Nice review but will stay for now with my old but beautiful and reliable Toyota Aurion Presara. Keep Safe Keep Strong My Dear Friend
I looked very carefully at the 2022 ux200 , but I bought a 2022 Honda HR-V....not as luxurious, but far more interior room.... A better overall vehicle that will last just as long for less money.
Thank you an informative video! Just a suggestion, the nature of the videos on this channel is not fast action videos, so pushing 60fps video only increases the network bandwidth and computing power required to view the video and it doesn't add to the quality of the video. Simple 1080P or 1440P would be better.
Presently I have a 22 Camry se that I will be trading in. The driver's seat is sheer agony after 30 min. Did you happen to buy a Cross or the UX? Thank you!
Another great Lexus video - thank you. Love my Lexus GS 350. I also have a 2002 Camry 3.0L V6 that I'm afraid has a transmission issue where it is struggling to shift into 4th gear even when warmed up a bit. I don't have a local option for transmission repair. Could you please offer advice on purchasing from an online company that does remanufactured transmissions? I see a few of them online and would appreciate your opinion. Thank you in advance.
Hi’ honestly I don’t know of a reputable online source for a reman transmission other than the dealership or a physical location trans shop which gives you a warranty
@@TheCarCareNut I have one more question if you would be so kind. On my Lexus GS 350, how can I stop my front brake pads from squealing. Thus far I took it to the shop and they machined the rotors a bit but that didn't help. I put akebono ceramic brake pads on and that seemed to help with stopping the squealing going forward. But backing up they are really squealing. How can I stop the squealing? Thank you. I really appreciate that you take the time to do this.
Thank you for the excellent review as always. The touchpad and the tiny rear seat are deal breakers for us. We will be looking at the NX and above. I have never used a touchpad in anything that I liked.
There is only a mind limit on the touchpad. I also had it for about 10 days with my UX, but you get used to it and become a reflex. Plus you don't use it often in reality, having the control panel at the tip of the armrest and the other physical controls.
Good day to you AMD! i was wanting to ask you, I was at a Toyota dealership the other day for a transmission drain and fill and they are suggesting a brake fluid flush. I have not replaced them yet and i believe that's something that is done when the pads and rotors are replaced, they also suggested the coolant be flushed and replaced but yet it's still pink and clear so i believe these are just things they wanted to hopefully get me to say yes to. thank you and have a great day!
Hi! Depends on your car. If it’s older than 5 years replace the brake fluid and the coolant. If it’s less than 5 years old and for the coolant has less than 50k miles I would wait.
I have just bought a ux 250 premium sport 2023 model it has Dunlop run flats and the car is extremely comfortable and quiet can’t understand your point on run flats?
@@rightlanehog3151 Which vehicle do you recommend for someone tall/heavy with a shorter torso and longer legs? @@staceys1870 That is a very difficult question. Car seats only reveal their true comfort level after a sustained period of driving. I would say a Highlander might be better. It also seems to have more headroom than any other current Toyota model.

Very good review, hi bro i want buy lexus nx 300 or ct 200h, important will be price in my country but what you think worth be if i buy nx300? Also i think buy nx200 because price is some low, what you think i enjoy if i buy nx200?
Traded my 2019 NX 300h (midrange model) for an UX 250h Luxury back in autumn 2021, (built that summer in Japan but I had to wait for getting it shipped to europe), I usually do not use the back row seats so it is better for me in most ways. But driving it is so much nicer than the NX was. I'm glad I did not wait for the refresh 2023 due to their strange decision to get rid of the nifty audio controls, was used to the touch pad from the NX anyhow.
Great choice. The touchpad, the armrest audio control panel and the black plastic fenders are far better than their replacements on the "upgraded" UX. Plus I heard that they put cylinders' deactivation, which is a huge issue.
Nice video answered some concerns I had about the UX. Think I will stick with focusing on a Corolla Hatch or Cross. Is there anything stopping one from insulating their own Corolla with an engine cover from a Lexus and installing a hood insulating pad? Anybody ever done anything similar as definitely a con to the Corolla is noise?
I've drove the 2023 F sport handling version quite often and its a nice car. The upgraded screen is a lot better than this one you are showing and also the controls. I like the seats in the F sport better also. Not really cheap though in price but lots of options included. Some say its too close to the NX in price but not really since to get the same features the NX is much higher. Talking about the F sport handling model. Quiet and nice to drive. I like the size but not trying to haul a lot of people, its not made for that. Some road noise but depends on the road. Overall the changes improve it more than a small amount from some earlier versions. Plus its made in Japan which I think overall builds better cars at that plant.
Please do a video on the Lexus CT200h! I'm trying to buy one around the 2013-2014 model year and need to know what to look out for/ If any years are worse than others.
Don’t do it. You will be very dissatisfied. The CT does not have the Lexus feel except at very low speeds on perfect roads. High levels of wind noise, vibrations everywhere when going over even modest bumps, and the creaks & rattles are everywhere. Just get a UX and you’ll be much happier. Plus the CT has a strong tendency to blow head gaskets around the 150k mi mark
Many people who purchase the car here in USA are over the age of 45 , so the sound quality of a compact disc still appeals to them , and, they are familiar with that music playback format.
something confusing is the power of the petrol engine 112 hp and 152 bhp. This tell me nothing about real power of the petrol engine and its performance on the highway. Having also electric power is it always there with you on the highway?

I will never want nor need anything bigger but I want a luxury car, and this delivers on that
Hi. What do you have to say about the infotainment? Is it really that bad or, you can learn how to live with it and gets to like it or, no way? :)

Your honesty is like a breath of fresh air.
That you for the comparison price.

That is too funny 🤣 go figure
😁
Seriously? Oh man it's in the blood since day one, I'll use a quote out of one of my favorite movies " innate or not at all"
Be thankful, at least he wasn't born in an elevator
Ha. That is awesome. It was meant to be!!!
I have a 2015 CT200h F Sport and a 2022 IS500 F Sport Performance. Life is good, as you always say.
For me the actual car is far more important than the infotainment system. This is a winner.
I am glad you like it.
There are no issues even at 6'4", the UX is reliable, low TCO and discreetly luxurious.
Great video ADM! Very timely as I have been thinking about getting a UX hybrid as my daily commuter.
That car is very unique for true. The first time I saw it I was like huh? Why does this Lexus NX look so small and the I realized it was a UX.

My stable is the UX, 07 Tacoma, 89 Supra by far the UX rocks!!
Our new 2019 Lexus UX 250H F Sport has an Apple car play requiring usb cable and no touch screen function.
The touch pad is a gimmick.
Rear seats accommodate my 9 year old’s child seat. CVT cooler and engine promise our investment will be trouble free.
Finally picking up my 2023 UX F-sport design tomorrow!! Just got rid of my VW Golf that costs me alot in repairs every year......
If you do get one, get the hybrid. The gas only model is under powered.
That is the case with many 4 cylinder non hybrid cars
but at 40k I would probably just get a gas NX
Thankyou Mr.AmD for this video. This is good for would be buyers of the Lexus UX models to know more about the car.My wife is expecting her 2022 Lexus UX hybrid next month (March).God Bless and Stay Safe.
Very nice review AMD ! What a pretty car.. the metallic green is awesome too.
Very good looking car, I do like your uncompromise style of reviews, and details provided. Keep going on and on and on
Great review of the UX.
i own the same car with silver color, great car, only thing i hate is the run flat tire.
I have a 21 ux and find in the sport mode it is very quick for me.
Hi.
Your videos are fantastic. Excellent information.
Question: which is the difference between de V-6 2 GE and the V-6 3 GE. What kind of injection they have!
Regards,
Alfredo
Hi! The 2GR could have either port or port and direct at the same time. The 3gr could have port only or direct only depends on the application
I really like this UX. Drove hundred miles to get a pearl white F sport. My only complaint is the MPG. This 2 liter engine consumes more gas than my 2.5 liter Rav4. I also want to get rid of the run flat tires ASAP.
hey what is wrong with run flat tire as im getting nxt weeek new ux model
@@jassmaan4998 The runflat is stiff, has bumpy ride. In most cases, you can't fix the flat, you have to buy a new one.

Have just bought a 2023 UX a sport premium pack it’s incredible very comfortable and excellent as far as road noise
I hope more comfortable tires would make the ride smoother, which I am looking forward to drive :)
May god bless you, and have a wonderful day :)
Yes the gas model road terribly but the hybrid was totally different
I wish they'd offer the option to NOT get run flats
Fyi, the noise is not the tires. Had the same car and added regular tires and the road noise did not change one bit. The issue is the front glass ( windshield and doors ) are very thin and therefore u hear all the wind noise. I ended up selling the car.
I agreed, lots of road noise esp driving 70mph. Sad to see no change even changing the tyres to non RF. Like to hear what other people think
@@cwl4570 I drove a loner with Michelin primacy 3 non RF. It was so smooth and quiet, that was unbelievable.
Fantastic review. Bravo. Thanks AMD
Love your reviews.
Another interesting and in-depth review, keep up the amazing work boss !!!
Great analogy!
Hence I still drive my 2009 RAV4 Sport V6.
Fully loaded and paid for :)
That means you're buying a poverty model that sometimes doesn't even come with basic features like rear cross traffic alert.

A similar approach had Mazda on my 2019 Miata ND2 RF and I appreciate it.
here in Iceland that luxury version with 4wheel drive is over 82.000 dollars
Thanks for watching! Is one of my dreams to visit Iceland some day. ✈️
Big fan of this channel. Iceland welcomes you
A review of the base Lexus would have been better had the review of the base trim. Most Lexus buyers that consider the UX are just wanting the cheapest Lexus they can, knowing the build quality is #1. That was exactly my daughter's thinking when she bought her 2020.
I think he has to review the cars Toyota sends him.
That's unfortunate.
Not true, most models sold are tge higher grade models

The details you asked for don't matter vs. your space needs.
They changed the infotainment system to a touchscreen for 2023 and they made the cabin more quiet. The back legroom remains the same which is fine for singles and empty nesters.

Great info on this car. I’m in the market for something new, and this is very helpful! 👍
Still torn!
A bit strange to compare ESh vs UXh because:
1) At least 20% difference in base MSRP.

MRSP in 2020 because it was driven 2 months, 1989 km at the end of 2019 - #2 deal of my life 😊
The most important is to buy one that was very well maintained, that you verify from all points of view. It will last some decades...
Very very nice Lexus, small but doesn't feel small, Just perfect for 2
Nice vid, only just seen it!

I looked very carefully at the 2022 ux200 , but I bought a 2022 Honda HR-V....not as luxurious, but far more interior room.... A better overall vehicle that will last just as long for less money.
Lots of the CHR’s are made/Assembled in Turkey which I don’t care for, is this Lexus also from Turkey or Japan ,??
Thank you an informative video! Just a suggestion, the nature of the videos on this channel is not fast action videos, so pushing 60fps video only increases the network bandwidth and computing power required to view the video and it doesn't add to the quality of the video. Simple 1080P or 1440P would be better.

Wait, this car still has a CD player?
I think every new Lexus has one. ES, LS for sure…
