Damn that was easy now I know how to do it in ma sleep,
for anyone wondering it works with characters aswell you just have to select them on the AI end
So is it not possible to change characters for the loading intro scene? It would be so amazing if we could have the Kameos, NPCs etc. for those too...
Yeah sadly that isnt possible the game just crashes or doesnt load past a certain point
Hello, could you help me by telling me why the mk1 hook menu doesn't appear? I can load mod through the folders but not put the menu to load the bp
the latest update of mk1hook is broken until it is updated to fit the latest version of mk1

Noooo because there is no animation created for like say kitana to do mileena's fatalities if you tried to swap fatalities to a different character it would probably crash the game
It didn't work quite like it did for you I just typed in what you pasted in those boxes then when I went to restart it froze my game

So how do I do it if I want e.g Johnny playing as Kitana?
I tried with the following but my game always just crashes:

Am I using the wrong line of code or is it meant to only work with Kameos?
oh yeah thats weird om not sure why this didn't work, it should have!! Also, sorry for the late response, my notifications have been sending late for some reason. The issue might be the fact that you want to use Skin005 instead of Skin001, but even then, any skin other than 001 should work so sorry about that
@@waldoesque would really help if the video also showed how to use like the titan skins or the story mode skins (like monk kenshi) i really want to use order of light kitana but i really dont want to grind 18 lvl first
How do i use freecam and be able to freely roam the map with it?

hi ty for the tutorial but what if i want to change fighters move sets? like subzero with reikos moves against kenshi for example. i tried to use this method but the game just crashes and idk what to do
Its the same exac steps, but insetad of copying the kameo fighter line, copy the main fighter definition line then replace the Definition source with "BP_SubZero_" while the DefinitionSwap would be the Reiko Line

Hi! I have only small question! While Kameo swap working perfectly like in video, when I try do this with playable character it's only change their skin but not moveset! Should I change something in "character" page? ;-; or maybe I pick wrong line from code!

I tried to use (for example) Raiden to have SubZero moveset and I write step by step everything like in your video. But at the end Raiden's skin is changed by P1 skin change but he still use his own attacks not the SubZero one's! Can you tell me which part of code should I paste in defnition swap to make this work? 🙏😭

How could I get this to work to swap cyber smoke over a fully playable smoke by definition swap. So I can do invasion etc.
no need to do that. instead, go to the character select menu in mk1hook and select CyberSmokep
@@waldoesque I know that but I'm looking for a way to use it in invasion. The swap version doesn't have intros and crashes invasion mode but I'm sure there's a way to use cyber smoke as a skin on top of smoke with the method in this video.
how to change kameo? example, I want to use mileena as support
Then you would reverse what he just showed you and make mileena a kameo by placing her skin over the top of a kameo

Yw for the tutorial !! To make one of the playable roster characters kameo, Copy the /Game Line that features for example, omni man and replace The Definition with BP_CharacterName_ and it should work (If this isnt clear enough, lmk !)

@@elmayonesohd3954 i’m gonna try to explain it(but warning: i’m bad) so let’s say, i want kenshi as sonya kameo. her moves for everything but as kenshi. so definition source is bp_sonyakam_(or any kameo) and the game definition would be the /game/disk/char/kenshi/skin/001- the super long line.
then, you want to go to the kameo tab and you can just put the skin code in for the kameo. so kameo 1 would be “bp_kenshi_skin0001-“
can you show us how to get dark raiden ? same steps or different?
go into skins for raiden and paste "BP_Raiden_Skin003_char" thats dark raiden code

make a tutorial on how to play with dlc characters
not possible unless you buy the characters
Mk1 hook is outdated whoever made it needs to update it so it works again i was able to use it before khaos reigns was released but now it doesn't work for me it says it can't be found or the plugin needs updated so im not able to use my skin mods for right now mk11 hook and mkx hook still work because those files wont ever need to be updated because they dont update mk11 or mkx anymore
