I really like the levels of distrust and eventual bonding and sense of teamwork between Andor and the rest of the rebel group.
9:30 who noticed that the star pack prop is actually an old school Polaroid camera?
I was wondering if that's what that was.
glad it wasnt just me
Everyone thought this episode would be the senator’s dinner and the heist but this second episode of build up was totally worth it, 10/10 character development
It was so good.
My emotions. My emotions!!!
The tension between all these people in their groups is is so great im loving it!!!! Pill popping and all ! 😁😁😁
Favorite part of the eps is when they compared the Empire to Apple and other companies in regards to right to repair…. “We’ve grown reliant on imperial tech…and we’ve made ourselves vulnerable”…. LOVE IT!❤
Just realised the character "Willi", the salesman from episodes 2 & 3 is an homage to Willie Loman from Arthur Miller's play Death of a Salesman. Hope he sells a few propulsion units and gets home alright. 😟
Important to note how amazing Diego Luna's acting is. I loved his work on Narcos, and now he's even better. Amazing!
Really quite amazing that I'm following each of the characters & their groups with almost equal interest. All we got from Syrill were some Neal Stephenson-ish cereal-eating scenes, and I still wished they were longer.
What’s more possible is that the Kessel incident they mentioned is the one from Rebels, considering it takes place roughly around this same time
The "sheep" in this episode are an actual animal called a shoat witch is a cross between a sheep and a goat(probably pretty obvious by the name!😜). They were bred on purpose in Scandinavia for a specific reason that I don't remember off hand.
The sheep are a real breed of sheep called Jacob’s sheep.
Those sheep with all the horns are a real breed of sheep. They are called Jacob sheep.
Exactly! Thank you. 🙏🏽
Pepper tree leaves are used to make a tea called Kratom. Pretty sweet that Kratom is SW canon now.
Makes me want to try it
Looks like Luthen has a few sankara stones (temple of doom) on his shelf, just over his left shoulder, at 38.O7 in the episode (ep.5, for comment longevity sake)
The stone tablets showing the hand symbols in Luthen's shop are not the same tablet given to Ezra by the wolves on Lothal. They are similar, but not the same.
Wookiepedia mentions a Harlow who was Moff of the Catarlo sector in the Outer Rim during Imperial rule., but that seems really high-ranking for a relative of his.
I just think it's funny that Star Wars has all these advanced androids and intergalactic travel capacities and plasma/laser weapons and gravity defying hovercrafts but no radio or tv programs to allow someone without an interspace cb radio to get information about what is happening in the universe.
They have a global holocommunications network as shown by the second explosion of the death star being live streamed Across the galaxy in Mando Season 2. Probably monitored as hell by the Empire and is full of propaganda.
The sheep with crazy horns a Jacob sheep. They’re a real breed.
Was anybody gonna mention that the "Old Starpath" device was an 1970's Polaroid SX70 Instamatic camera with the lenses covered ? LOL! I grew up with one and it created quite a distraction when I noticed it. It's also EXACTLY the kind of thing we would incorporate into "playing Star Wars" when I was a kid.
Those are actually real Jacob sheep. They have horns like that.
I came here to see if anyone else said this. I wasn't sure the breed, but I knew they were real sheep.
@@AmyL._orcgirl Yes, they just dyed them a solid color.
@@wendycarr133 they could have gone really weird and used those ginormous Pakistani goats.....
This is the most Game of Thrones vibe episode of Andor so far, not to mention the GoT cast.
LOL LOVE THE USE OF THE OLD POLAROID CAMERA
Im calling it: Uncle Harlo works for the ISB
Either than or a crime syndicate. I got a strong crime syndicate aka the Godfather vibe from the conversations with the mom.
Best Star Wars Easter egg is E.T.’s species having representation in the galactic senate in the prequels.
The mention of Kessel has nothing to do with Han Solo and has everything to do with the Ghost crew from Lothal, where they freed the Wookiee's enslaved on Kessel.
The old school Han Solo series had Espos as his main antagonists.
I really liked how we got a little character development within the Imperial garrison. One thing Tony Gilroy et Bros. nails is the Empire and he seems to focus on developing them well as space Nazis but still people.
it wasn't that the peppers were so good, guys. it was said that the empire came in, destroyed his brothers land and flooded it. it doesn't seem like the empire actually cares so much about lavish things and more they just don't want anybody else to have them and don't want anybody to have a single thing that brings them any amount of joy or purpose in life
The point that the Empire can and does, on a whim destroy a person’s life, still stands.
BTW, the drays aren't actually 'star wars creatures', they're real Hebridean sheep from Scotland. Those horns are completely real so apparently there IS an evolutionary reason to have that many horns.
The MJ and Pippen of Wookieeleaks!!!!
They’ve set the climax up so well. All they have to do now is play some of the classic themes when the rebel characters start getting killed. They’ll grab the heart of every SW fan no sweat.
Couldn't Kessel refer to season 1 first 2 episodes of Rebels went they went to Kessel to free the Wookies? Rebels and Andor take place on same timeline.
Maybe the holocrons come in different sizes?? Larger ones = store more information?
Mon Mothma exposing Lupin to the Senate scene.
Mon Mothma infront of the Senate.
Mon Mothma:" I'm afraid there is an imposter among us."
I think Taramyn waved that torch a little too long.
Yup.
Don't both Andor and Rebels (animated series) take place around the same time 5 BBY?
So they are definitely at the "individual cells" of rebels phase and working towards unity. I think we will start to see a convergence if not in characters, then in plots (e.g. references to events).
I'm surprised Lothal wasn't thrown into the list of events, just to make it clear to people that these two things are happening in parallel on different sides/parts of the galaxy.
“Krayt head” I was thinking more of the planet from last Jedi
Great discussion, guys 👍🏻
at 13:24 , is that Nick Blood/Lance Hunter from Agents of Shield?
Yes it is I thought I was the only one who noticed
LOL. I went to Tulane. The Harvard of the South 😂😂😂
C You Next Tuesday has me on the floor!!!!
The Tablets can't be from Lothal, that event happens after this, The ones Ezra discovers are still buried in the temple on Lothal.
That suggests that they existed somewhere else too, which makes sense. The lore of the Mortis Gods after all could be on many planets with Jedi temples.
They are not the same artifact. the tablet Ezra receives is one piece with all three symbols in a row. The tablets in Luthen's shop look similar but are divided into two tablets, with the symbols spaced differently.
if you pause the video, did anyone else try to click Eriks shirt to get the video to continue?
or was it just me?
Since this series has heist as part of its story I hope we get to see Hondo in an episode.
The old school Starpath unit looks to be made from and old fold up Polaroid camera.
The mole will be one of the two people in a romantic relationship.
Polycerate are real goats with multiple horns
15:45 - go off 👑🔥
Half-joking here, but if a Star Wars Easter Egg is in the MCU or vice versa, does that mean that He Who Remains/Kang is/was/will be overseeing the Star Wars galaxy, too??
6 horns on sheep may not make evolutionary sense, but in real life those sheep have 4 horns. They're called Jacob sheep & they only added 2 prosthetic horns to them.
Full disclosure, I'm the treacherous one in every group! And I never apologize! 😇
What if the tablets - since they lead to the world between worlds - can take you to the Indians Jones universe 🤯
Polaroid SX-70 in Star Wars 😎
LOVE THE SHIRT!!..A MANDO WITH A CHAINSAW! BAHAHA!...FUGGIN' AWESOME!..LET ME KNOW IF THAT ONES AVAILABLE...
See you next Tuesday, guys!
Nemik has to be the mole. It’s always the over enthusiastic one. Plus Namak in Urdu & Hindi, meaning salt, is a slang for someone’s level of loyalty.
I love your perspective!
@@jeffreycarman2185 Well, oooops. 😞
I ❤️ you guys !
X-Wings are STARFIGHTERS that can travel through hyperspace, why would ship size be an issue?
I actually don’t think Kassa was referring to the fact that it can go into hyperspace, he asked “what powers” the ship, I suspect Kassa is talking about the power supply, and not the ability for hyperspace.
We can all see that Cinta and Vel are a couple, right?
"To The Simpsons quotes! The cause of... and solution to... all of life's problems"
Anyone notice the star path unit looks like an old Polaroid camera?
I don’t think that those tablets are the same tablets seen on lothal. Similar, but not the same.
The Empire is so much alike The Nazis. We learn about WW2 in school now, and for example, I noticed the tatoos, as thge Jews had in camps.
Those sheep aren’t Star Wars creatures we have them in the U.K. they’re Jacob sheep
I’ve seen one with 6 horns
This was the best episode yet❤
The tablets don't belong there because that event hasn't happened at this time yet.
Who do we think Uncle Harlow is? does Tarkin have a first name in Canon? Hmmm?
It’s wilhuff
Likely he will be recruited by the ISB.
The tablets are just be from another portal that broke. in universe timeline the one on lothal hasn't been found yet.
and why they keep showing the ex want be cop, i love the stones showing up, becuz they for a different temple or place, BUT the fact that showone made the models with ashoka coming out and the rumors ezra showing up, i hopin they may play something of role maybe
No advantage for horns protruding from all angles of the skull? Tell that to poor triceratops.
A departure from tradition is not a departure from the magic.
Subverting pop cultural norms is not an act of rebellion but rather the antithesis to expectation.
Ya do know the sheep are real animals. They are a bread of sheep called Jacob sheep 🐑 😁
I like to call Harvard “the Stanford of the East”
This episode was really good and entertaining but I didn’t like some references to the ST.
Overall, a Well-made episode
Star tours? Star trek?
Skeen has to be the mole. I don't trust his back story. I think its a big lie.
BTW, I was right
This episode was really good and entertaining but I didn’t like some references to the ST,
that was really insane, but Han Solo being hunted by the Empire , like it is connecting so many dots omg
Nemik is my pick for the mole. They're making him too likeable.
I think they will put the dots together and than get killed. :(

If anyone turns it'll be the kid.
Y'all sleeping on Bix.
The rebel Vs the empire struggle is reminiscent of the Palestinians struggle Vs Israel
m ANDOR lorian
Is it me or are the top half of them are green to anyone else?
Hearing the kid talk makes you realize current government is not far off from the empire. Yikes
*Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today...*
First
Nobody cares
This episode really left me hoping that the second half of this season doesn't follow this 3-episode arc. Pacing was really off for me.
Please stop talking about star wars
The ghost crew resurd a bunch wookies on Kessel on rebels also at that time of the timeline
5th
I really like the levels of distrust and eventual bonding and sense of teamwork between Andor and the rest of the rebel group.
