Wait.... $52,00.00? And you're serious? Wealthy folk will think it's too small, the middle class will find it ridiculously expensive. This is ridiculous
$52,000 That's about 350+ nights at Holiday Inn Express. We spend about 5 to 6 weeks a year on the road but If we don't travel we don't have a monthly bill to pay. All RV's are over priced for now.
@@stankygeorge I f’ing those features very appealing. My husband drives for 4 days each way about 4-5 times a year. He refuses to pay for a hotel room because he’s afraid of being robbed of the stuff in his trailer. It is extremely unsafe for him to sleep, he has to try to sleep in a bench seat in a F-450, he doesn’t want to use the truckers bathrooms and he only eats fast food. This is something that we could afford and I would even be able to travel with our animals and pull it with my Wrangler. I think it’s fabulous for what we’d need it for. It would only be necessary for the next 3-5 years and then after that, we could choose to sell or buy a larger more plush one that feels like home. The only thing I’d miss if I were back there with our dogs would be a big tv. He’s handy, so I’m sure he would figure something out. Love this.
If $52k is the price, I can't even afford to waste my time watching the video! I'll wait for the market to crash and buy something twice the size and half the price that can tow my Wrangler! That price is beyond ridiculous! Shouldn't be more than $20k for anything that small!
The price of campers these days vs staying in a hotel makes you wonder why buy one. If you spend $5000 a year on a vacation it would take you 10 years plus to offset price. Over 10 years you would have repairs storage, camp ground fees, interest ,tires, insurance ,gas to tow and wear on the vehicle used to move it, so is it worth it. They are nice but no longer practical
People don't buy trailers to save money. They want to sleep in nature, in their own bed with their own stuff surrounding them, without living out of a suitcase. Lots of people are also into boondocking off the beaten path, which you can't do in a hotel. Plus, these things retain their value somewhat. Use it for 5 years and sell it, and with inflation and because of the cool retro look, I bet you can get a good buck for it. But I agree with you, RV camping can be expensive. It's not for me, I think it's a waste of money. I watch these videos to see what I might buy if I ever win the lottery. Personally I think I'd go with a custom build van, based on the Ford Transit with raised roof and AWD.
@@OMGWTFLOLSMH I'll also add you can visit friends and bring your bed/kitchen/bath to park in their yard or driveway. We have two kids who live out of state, one of which is maxed out on bedrooms/bathrooms. I don't want to check in hotels, haul my things inside, park my vehicle where it won't be damaged or broken into, bring my pets. There are tons of reasons why I prefer a camper to a hotel, but saving money isn't one of them.
The design being small and relatively light weight is attractive in that is easily towed by many vehicles. On the other hand, way too many bells and whistles may mean constant maintenance and upkeep issues. Why not build the same basic design with simplified systems at a reasonable cost?
The price negates everything. For that price “cute” and “retro” just doesn’t cut it as a selling point. Someone looking for something that small is also looking for a small price. I love the look and the very high end components, but this is a beautiful suit in a world needing dungarees.
This is almost identical to the Polish? Freedom glass fibre vans which were/ are glass fibre but a less retro, rounded shape. They still retail. We had a Freedom Sport 25 years ago which was smaller with a pop top, slept 3 and had no bathroom. This one more closely matches the 2 berth . Fantastic little van. We bought it for £3k but had to sell when our second child reached 4 and was too heavy for the childs bed we rigged up for her. Some great holidays. Easy to tow and manoeuvre. It would have fitted in the garage if we had had less junk in there. Have missed it greatly since the kids have grown and left. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.
I always find it amusing when people balk at the price of luxury goods. You better not ever step into a Mercedes dealership - lol. $52k sounds like a lot, but this is a one piece fibreglass shell with hydronic heating, lots of features and tons of style. You could literally rent this thing out for $150/night and pay it off in 2 seasons. Nice shit costs money in today's world.
I like the retro design and layout, but this is a $16,000 trailer. I paid $56,000 for my 40 foot toy hauler 5th wheel. This trailer would fit inside it.
Exactly. Why not pay half that much and get an ugly, piece of crap, uncomfortable, inexpensive camper made from cheap materials that will probably leak in a year and be worth little to nothing at resale.
I agree, it’s so cute, I love everything about it, the color, the style, but it does need a screen, and air con. I don’t know who can afford it. If they’re rich, I’m sure they’d want more and a bigger trailer for their money. Even at 1/2 price, like others mentioned, it’s still too high. Also, the heater in the shower? It seems like it could melt the shower curtain, or water could get inside. I’d be curious as to how well these sell.
It has an AC unit. Screen? It has window screens. The heat for the shower is the Alde hot water system. There is no shower curtain. The bathroom door has a lip and keeps water inside the wet bath.
Ive been waiting for this for ever and im not getting any younger. Very nice but the price seems to be going up every year. 3 years ago it was 40, now 50!!!
Fancy shell but not a lot else. No air con, awning, door screen, missing some cabinet drawers, tiny fridge, basic sink, fan and stove, fit and finish looks average. If you want a fibreglass clamshell, there are several better built and priced options, minus the cool shell.

I bought my 980sq.ft. ,3 bedroom, one bath house 23 years ago for $26,000.00. I would never consider buying this camper for their outrageous price. It's really cute..but too expensive.
Beautiful design but realistically I see very little storage space for bedding, luggage etc. You’d fill that little closet fast, but that’s helpful. I would prefer an outdoor clamshell type kitchen for an RV this small. Tab has a clamshell model with outdoor kitchen. I think there’s enough comments about price, already.
When you consider how many people who camp had to work very hard for the money they have saved, then I would think they should just take the time and build their own camper. So many videos on RUclips showing how to lay fiberglass and every thing necessary to DIY and at a fraction of the cost of this cute but surely way overpriced indulgence. This thing was not just blinked into existence, it was built, so why not do it yourself. Of course, everyone is free to waste their money buying things like this NuCamp so go ahead and do what you want.

It looks like the design, build, unique features, and overall quality is equal to Airstream. It’s aerodynamic design, very light weight, and low overall height, width, & length will allow you to camp practically anywhere, and park it for storage in a garage. Try that with an Airstream. This is a UK design that's been in use for several years. nuCamp sells other small campers, including the very popular T@B. I've owned one for 14 seasons and take multi-weeks trips as well as short trips, and average over 55 nights per year in it. The design of both models is great.

Agree with some of the other comments - $52,000 - that is a NO GO. Get something like the Scamp in the $25,000 price range with no bathroom and two separate sleeping areas available. Now you are talking. $52,000 that is a NO.
So cute however 👎 that price is not justified. Not to mention the cost to camp has also soared out of control. The average family can NO longer afford to take a simple vacation. So sad 😞
TOO SMALL - TOO EXPENSIVE! I rather have a livable 50 or 60 years old camper trailer with far more room! You could get a nice fully restored All Aluminum Spartan - Spartanette Model Travel Trailer for $50,000 -$100,000 depending on length and model. A Royal Mansion is the top end of the line. They are gorgeous and in high demand for those who want the best of the best in Retro Camping Trailers.
This thing will cost $70725.00 in Canada at the present exchange rate plus taxes. Good luck selling those things. Thanks for helping to keep the price of used trailers up.
The regulator doesnt indicate how much gas is in the propane tanks dude. A regulator just controls flow. You need a guage at the tanks to measure if the tank is low in gas. Otherwise a great review!
Intech trailers with similar features go for $35k. This should be in the $34k to $38k max. 52 might be a price includinga 15k additional dealer profit because of low supply and high demand.
The basic shape seems to lead to.inefficient use of space, the refrigerator runs only on electricity, but there seems to be TWO thirty pound propane tanks. The above, added to the near sixty grand price does not impress me.
I suppose when its not in use it could sit in your backyard next to the pool. For $50,000 its a guestroom and allows you to rent your home, keep your equity and storage and also see the world (pulling this thing or just flying out ✈)
You can buy a tiny home with more space, storage building, and land with city sewage to put it on in TN for this amount. I thought this tiny thing was going to be around $15K. And how do you use the shower when the water is going to run inside the heater? Anyone would be laughed outta town for paying that price for it.
I love it so much!! but the $50k+?!, I’m out. 😮😢. I wonder who their target consumer is with this one? I think they did phenomenal at using every inch of space though. If the the bed end had a raising hatch, it might be perfect! Lol. Except that price.
The ABSOLUTE highest price something like this should cost is $19,000 (which itself is still insane for something like this). Price here is Super Preposterous. Massive Massive Money Grab.
Not worth the money. I see many flaws in this trailer. Lets start with the bathroom. How are you gonna go with legs straight out in front of you & how are you gonna wipe. This is something people do not look at. You want a toilet that has room on both sides so you can go & have room to wipe your rear with. Now for those little cuby holes he calls storage for spices..... Sure lets see you haul that trailer with them in there. They will end up all over the floor. Do not like the clearance height for driving & the tire is not a solid sturdy tire to handle the horrible roads out there. I could point out several other little things but for my final complaint is that big window in the front. Have fun replacing it all the time from the rock chips that will happen from driving. It is why many other companies put steel or aluminum plates up there to protect from rock chips. If your gonna pay $52K for a trailer go with a winnebago or a Imagine of around 25'-28'

I agree, 52,000 really? Yea, its cute but not that cute😂
I want to put it in my front yard for decoration with tons of flowers and greenery! Or a backyard office ! Love it ! It’s so cute!
that would be sooooo cute.......
That’s awfully expensive yard art! 😂
@@TexasLadyS 🤣, 👍 in my dreams I would use it in my yard ! 🤣😂🤣
$52,000.00 is way too much!! That's ridiculous!! It's cute but it's only worth 25,000.00 at most!!
The regulator doesnt indicate how much gas is in the propane tanks dude. A regulator just controls flow. You need a guage at the tanks to measure if the tank is low in gas. Otherwise a great review!
Still using the same crappy tank level monitor that constantly mail function. For the price point i would expect better quality componunts
Oh Yeah, I've been following this rig since that Beautiful British ladies concept design.🥰🥰❤❤👍👍🇺🇸
Great job on the video. The trailer is very nice, colors and patterns modern....BUT the price! Yikes!!
Very cute but I don’t think worth 50.000 sorry
Intech trailers with similar features go for $35k. This should be in the $34k to $38k max. 52 might be a price includinga 15k additional dealer profit because of low supply and high demand.
Good luck @ $50k.
well - we’ll see if they get enough buyers to keep it at the initial asking price … 😉
Yes, I’m curious also, it will sit for awhile!
The basic shape seems to lead to.inefficient use of space, the refrigerator runs only on electricity, but there seems to be TWO thirty pound propane tanks. The above, added to the near sixty grand price does not impress me.
I love it, but there's no way I could afford it
Nice but not at the price - look what u get for 20000 dollars from Bürstner
$52,000???
Get OUT of here!!
That shouldn't be worth anymore than $23k!
That's ridiculous!
$52,000!!!
BWAAA! HA! HA! HA!
They are NUTZZZ!
More like $5,200.
Cute but not over $50.000 cute.
Not a 52 thousand plus taxes and licenses. It should be 4 wheels not two.
Should be 10,000 no more!!
It is way too expensive. We have purchased several, and for this price, it is too small.
I suppose when its not in use it could sit in your backyard next to the pool. For $50,000 its a guestroom and allows you to rent your home, keep your equity and storage and also see the world (pulling this thing or just flying out ✈)
If you live in an area that attracts visitors for whatever reason, and your layout is suitable, using it as an Airbnb would be a consideration.
You can buy a tiny home with more space, storage building, and land with city sewage to put it on in TN for this amount. I thought this tiny thing was going to be around $15K. And how do you use the shower when the water is going to run inside the heater? Anyone would be laughed outta town for paying that price for it.
How MUCH??? And, it looks easy to roll over.
This crap is more than my 2019 honda odyssey touring, I pass!!!
52k ?? Just who in their right mind would pay that for this tiny trailer?
