09:00 - PSA: Do not feed the monkeys. Since the resort is built within the nature reserve, interaction with wild animals was part of the experience. We saw them raiding our neighbors room while housekeeping was cleaning. So make sure to always keep your doors and windows closed!

10:54 - Situation of Resort during Covid, we checked in late Feb 2020. All restaurants were closed except Citron and Long Bar. Most of the resort is under mantianece due to low occupancy. The beach was not useable due to strong winds and a big rainstorm during our stay.

We started our trip back in April 2, 2019 from New York City. We quit our 9-6 jobs, sold all of our belongings, and began traveling full time. We left our jobs because we were unable to be with family and enjoy life. Work was taking up too much time and something had to change. We saved up for 2 years and began traveling as soon as we found a deal that would take us around the world for just $285.00. We started this #travelvlog to share our adventures with friends and family. At the one year mark, we realized that we had only scratched the surface and there was still so much to see. That was really windy! Wow, I like the lounge bar, those big wicker chairs look super cozy :) The dining area has spectacular views. I love the entire interior. Your room has everything needed. A private balcony with such a view is amazing! Thanks for sharing the tour :)

What a beautiful stay, although the weather did look miserable. I guess the highlight of the stay (due to the rainy weather) was the club lounge. Can't wait to see more.🎉🥂

Love the InterContinental video. The place def has the JWM Phu Quoc vibes. Much better then the Four Points when we stayed there… although it was nice too! Keep up the great work guys.

So awesome, the room was absolutely amazing with so many high-end amenities. The cable car was sooooo cool. You two are so blessed to have access to all those club lodge features. You may not have received the FULL Continental experience but you know what's available. That's really client service for the management to go above and beyond. Glad you made the best the situation. Yes, we are so blessed to get all the club lounge features but we also worked really hard for them. We plan ever day and schedule everythign accordingly so that it will all work well. We are traveling from far away and would hate to have a sour experience. Overall yes, with B is BEST!
oh my god! Ok so I knew this was going to be lavish, but when I saw that little cable car to take you up and down... my jaw dropped! also interesting to see this was obviously just as corona was starting. must be weird to look back as you edited this. Pity the weather was so bad, but imagine the place in sunny weather!
It was all good! We really wanted to fly the drone and play in the water, but that was the the only two bummers as we wanted to take some nice shots. Other than that it was really really nice!
Two bottles of water are definitely not enough lol you looked so happy about the monkeys. You could barely say afternoon tea lol cocktail hour is beautiful! Bye room! Lol
HAHA. We were happy about the monkeys because they are so cute. Almost feels like you're living in the Jungle with them. We were just happy that even though we weren't able to do all the activities, we could EAT! HAHA. Thanks for watching!

A night there would costs around $350 to $400 per night but it really depends on it being high season or low season. We went during low so it was a little cheaper. That's why you see the winds as well as the rain. We still recommend checking out this amazing property if it is on your to do list! TINA! We are going to be in Miami for the first week of October! Maybe you're close by :)
Hi Wedee and Bernard, I am really impressed from this Hotel. Wow. I never saw a winefridge in a room or suite. The club lounge looked amazing too. Wow...what a luxurious hotel you have visited. Marvelous view from the restaurant which is located in the heights level.. unique furniture arrangements is very attractive. Nice luxury Suite in the Heaven Level which gives nice Ocean View. Thanks guys for giving comprehensive introduction of the every part of the hotel specially about the luxury suite. What a beautiful place. The public places are all so huge. Cool pool. I assume all the drinks are a separate price. The "exclusive area" was a nice unexpected perk. That is quite the place. The monkeys would have made my day.🐸

Though it's quite crazy that it will take you at least 30 minutes to get to the nearest convenience store so you're kind of stuck there unless you have a motorbike. The monkeys were cute but just close your windows and doors!

I agree that two water bottles is not enough....8 is much better! Your private balcony is HUGE!!!!
What a bummer so many areas were closed...but to have access to the club to make up for it looked pretty great.
It all worked out in the end. Had we been informed prior to arrival that everything was closing then we most likely would have chosen a different property, but as you can see the timing just wasn't right. The monsoon season, the covid issue... it all just wasn't in our favor, but the team did amazing and we were so excited to get to enjoy some culinary delights!

Hi, the drive was lovely. I really enjoy the fluffy clouds. The resort entrance is lovely. I love the decor of the Long bar. OMG did I see a ping pong 🏓 table. I love the IHG. The sweet is beautiful. The monkeys are a nice touch. The views are very nice. Love your shirts. The clubhouse sounds very nice. Happy you guys were able to enjoy it. Sorry to hear that the weather was not cooperating. But it turn out well since you got access to the clubhouse. So sad the pool looked lovely!! Nice video. Are you guys doing any excursions in Da Nang?
Thank you so much for your authentic reply! We really appreciate it! Apparently we went during monsoon season so it wasn't ideal. Would have definitely tried to fly the drone there! In Da Nang we only did the hotel and the city center and no excursions. We went straight to Hoi An after that.

We were there in February so is that the season? It was unfortunate, but Hoi An was fine when we went there next.

@@exploreaswego no, I think late summer and fall in US is typhoon season in SE asia, raining season. I have family there and around 8th month it raind quite frequent

We are a little behind because we filmed for much and Vietnam was one month so our focus was filming and editing after. We did the whole country.. HCMC, Phu Quoc, Can Tho, Soc Trang, Da Nang, Hoi An, Sapa and Hanoi.
