    Great compilation. I think the most difficult part when troubleshooting is knowing when to quit because it goes against everything you strive for - a fix.😖 Rabbit holes are also part of the learning process/experience. 🤯🤬

    Hi Sorin, hugs from Brazil. I am a intusiast and i take broken laptops to try the repair. In an dell precision 7520, a problematic BIOS file gave me cpu fail led code, i change the version and fail desapear. A broken or corrupted BIOS can show CPU fail. Try one more time and see. Bye

    Asus uses a pressure sensor in some parts of their motherboards. These sensors are able to lock down the whole laptop, and the battery. You may have to buy a new battery if this happens. As the laptop becomes older, the plastic cover shrinks, stressing the pressure sensors. That causes malfunction if the laptop is moved on a desk, or when used in car. If the wifi card is not Azureware, that causes malfunction. If the cpu is not a dedicated Turion, that also causes malfunction, but you can upgrade it to 2.4 Ghz. Same with other laptop, if it doesn’t support the 2 ghz fsb of the QL65 Amd, your windows may halt after 30 days after the cpu’s installation. This type of fix needs the battery to be discharged in Bios. Bad batteries can be easily destroyed when discharged in bios, so it needs some refresh in Windows first. Bad batteries are nearly the cause of all defects in laptops. For Asus, 3 discharges are needed in Windows, one in Bios. These need to be repeated more times, in all power schemes. Fan speed will drop, less heat, and higher performance for the cpu, and the vga. For Dell, it needs 10 discharges in Windows, one in Bios. It has to be sure, that the battery is in good condition. Some brands, regions have the performance factors locked for the cheap sale. Still, the described method unlocks the features, and the laptop will gain high performance, and no malfunction. The default batt management is a curse, it connects to a server, and decides whether the user is allowed to use this elite mode or not. If you uninstall the software, Windows will take care of the batt management. Then the user can transfer his millions in a cave, tent, or anywhere he wants to. Also, the user can play games freely, without his laptop being manipulated. Mice should be wired, not radio types. They are also connecting somewhere, and it is decided to use or not. Wireless mice are manipulated, and sometimes impossible to use. Asus needs Asus Win dvd, not satisfied with the normal dvd, even if it is legal. When you have a legal win dvd, you have to insert it yearly, when the tray pops out. The code has to be around the cpu, chipset, vga chip. Its thermal camera reads the stripe when the laptop heats up. Some bar codes have to be removed above the cpu, or any black plastic material. When the bar code is placed in an angle, that means, the user is a fag. You have to remove it, it is read by a satellite, and may cause malfunction.

    Hi there, at 18:59 you said 12 ohms is a little bit low, my question is normally how much ohms it might be? because you are not saying normally for example must be 200 ohms but now 12 ohms, that means is low. please in your next video explain more. thnx

    Hi Sorin, I have a question for you. If a laptop can not be fixed because a CPU/GPU or chipset has failed, would you still charge the customer for the diagniostics? Regards Dean.

      if you spend time diagnosing an equipment you need to charge for it

    • @juliusvalentinas
      @juliusvalentinas Год назад +2

      Only in uk you charge 60pound for charging port, in other countries you diagnose for 10-15eur then charge whatever you want for the job plus parts but the price is negotiated with the customer. Warranty is for parts replaced only, warranty is 3months

    I have a gaming laptop and recently I disassembled it and took out the RAM but I accidentally felt the pins of what it has there and then I put it back but then I put a steel cover on it and when I put it on the mini electricity flashed and then I turned on the laptop and normally turned off immediately and then I thought it was the RAM so I took it out again and the laptop worked normally but the monitor didn't work then I turned it off and put the RAM back in and it turned off again right after I turned it on, now I'm not sure if it will be RAM or if I blew the motherboard.

      OpenBoardview is the free fork of FlexBV. Because FlexBV is a perpetual licence, it never expires, it is cheaper than subscription software though.

    Asus UX425 when I seen that battery is charging, but without battery is taking 100mA, I immediately though - DAMM, again a dead CPU. Strange that I did not see 1-2 sec fan spin as I usually see in this case.
