proper collaborated Candy 🤣🤣
Sorin, one of the things I learnt from you many years ago was to begin with a full physical inspection. I have stuck to this principle and it saves so much time to simply remove the board, check everything and then begin with diagnosis.
Hi Dianne, I agre completely with you with visual inspection in 90-95% of case study you find the iusse, than go on with instrumental investigation and if find shirt circuit with voltage injection.....maybe Sorin is getting old and laziness is taking over... maybe because of too many Easy Pizzas... but normally I rarely encounter simple failures like a simple shorted capacitor...bye Francesco Timpano from Florence Italy
I sub this
You must always try your best not to remove the board if at all possible. Otherwise you won't be able to say "Easy Pizza!" 🤣
But seriously, you're right! Moreso if the board has liquid damage or suspected liquid damage.
One of the things that I enjoy when watching these videos is to play a game with myself, where I freeze-frame when the internals are propely visible & have a good look around. Most of the time, there isn't anything to see, or I miss what I should have seen.
But this time: "Liquid damage on the daughterboard" says I.
I'll take that as a very small win!
WE HAVE PICTURE, THATS CRAZY ❤
It is people like Sorin who make me think this world still has hope. Thanks...
Every video is like a meditation. Thanks Sorin!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and taking the time to make these videos.
Excellent and very step by step by step troubleshooting results in a working laptop!❤
Hi Sorin, I’ve been a subscriber for 16 months now, and it’s been absolutely amazing. I truly appreciate and value everything I’ve learned from your content. I wanted to jokingly suggest something: maybe we could have a different loyalty badge for 2 years, since it’s currently the same as the 1-year badge. Just a fun idea! Thanks so much for all the incredible work you do.
Thank you very much, i really appreciate it! I will look in finding a different bagde
We also have a thing called etiquette too Sorin
Indeed, i'm really sorry i missed that

This time was a tricky one, well done Sorin👏🏻👏🏻
Weldone Mzee, thanks
Lucky Sorin, everytime you find someting wrong, like the other friend said i learned from you the best solution is total inspection on any point of the motherboard, good job❤❤💯💯
... and you have certainly cleaned the fan afterward 😜
ALWAYS DO A VISUAL INSPECTION
The Laptop pro fixes another one, thanks Sorin for the lessons and content.
I want some of your electronics tools.some tools in my country, they don't sell some of the tools you are using...very sad for my country.
But thanks for the Knowledge Dr Sorin.
Candy for Sorin 😁
Good job mate 👏
Thank you for the new video! I guess it proves the importance of visual inspection. Btw, on macbook air models it is very common situation when the daughter board (audio board) is liquid damaged and it prevents the laptop to start.
thank you soring that was as always a very learning video, but can we please know if the power button still have 2.7v or is it 3.3v now? and thanks again
Yes. We need to know!!
I work on HP EliteBooks everyday and something me and the others on my team have noticed is that sometimes they seem to get stuck in some kind of either off or sleep state. Once in a while you can press the power button for 1 minute and then try powering it on. It might take a few minutes for you to notice something that indicates it's powering on and then the fan ramps up to 100% and eventually you get to a login prompt then everything is fine. Other times you have to disconnect the battery and attach external power to it and then it will power on. Again you might have to wait a few minutes to notice anything and the fan ramps up to 100% but it just might power on. Once it's powered on you can turn it off and reconnect the battery and it will power on fine after that.
I've come to hate HPs lol. I know this is an Envy but it might have the same stupid issue.
They know u WELL .... They saw your videos and know your weakness for candy
Hello Sorin did you get my mail 😊
Sorin is it ok that u had the charger pluged in while u conected the battery??
Sorin, it looks like there is still a bit of corrosion between pins 15-16 of that Parade 8811 chip on the IO board. See the video at 20:04.
Why doesn't the translation feature work?😢
