Boss GT1000, Fishman Aura, AER, and Godin Multiac SA

I’ve been searching for the perfect nylon guitar string tone that allows me to play some traditional Latin nylon guitar pieces with my band, such as Gipsy Kings, but also the versatility to use some affects for some more modern popular rock type music - Santana is a good example. Here’s a little video to sum up 100 hours of research LOL.

Are you running the Aura in the effects send/return of the GTk or...?

Paul Whittington I’ve probably gigged ten times with the GT-1000 and tried ten different methods. A couple times I used the Aura in SR1 and my AER amp SR2. Nice to have the AER amp as an extra monitor behind me and the Aura goes to FOH, usually run them parallel. AER amp is the best, then Aura, then GRK ‘natural’ or transparent’ - at least for my Gypsy Kings like tone I go for. Trying to get the best of both worlds between that and the FX....
