I shouldn't have watched this video. It was too nicely explained. I wanted to get the Grand Concert and it's currently in my cart but now I feel I need both 😂 But also added the RC 505 Loop station to my cart. I already had the Roland since added before. This guy convinced me in less than 6 minutes. GRACIAS!

I have had a Godin ACS SA and Roland synths (first GR33, now GR55) for about twelve years. Two years ago I also got a steel string Godin XT SA. They are absolutely great instruments and I wish more musicians used them! Even when you don't use the synth sounds, they sound great, but it is really the synthesizer output that opens up a whole new sound universe.

I love the sound of these guitars but as someone who is classically trained I prefer my full neck width. I wish Godin would be more hospitable to guys like me.

So i've bee listening to as many videos as i can but too many use as lot of effects making it hard to tell what the guitar is doing. I can tell you connect with your music and your instrument. Very smooth and the reviews showed me a few things I haven't seen. Thanks!

When you say that the ACS is thinner do you mean neck thickness or is it also thinner at the nut.
I have an Angel Lopez version, which i love, but the neck is 1 7/8" and I am tempted to spend the big buck for the Godin because of the extra 1/8". I like the idea of the solid body vs chambered.

hello. I just bought a godin acs slim. but I can't find any amp that sounds good with it. and I mean acoustic amps, of course. the sound feels "harsh". but if I connect it to an interface and some studio headphones it sounds great. just great. The question is: how to correctly amplify this type of guitar so as not to depend on headphones? I also used an interface against some full range studio monitors and it feels harsh too. it's as if two preamps were colliding, the one for the guitar and the one for the amp itself. only some headphones make a difference, as I told you. how did you achieve it? In other words, how do you make that guitar sound live? thank you so much
