“I don’t consider myself to be a composer, however, I am a musician, and sometimes melodies come to my mind, with essentially complete harmonies... Music that knocks on the door of my soul and which I gladly welcome and then set free by putting pen to paper”. Thus, Andrea Bocelli has created this inspired arrangement for “Ave Maria, which was composed in March 2020. The song clearly displays the Tuscan tenor’s strong religious feeling, who draws strength not only from his spiritual journey and meditations on adulthood, but also from his childhood memories: from the first time he performed the sacred repertoire on the keys of an organ, the genuine devotion expressed by the community of churchgoers in the rural town where he grew up.

When Andrea's mother was pregnant with him Dr.'s advised her to have an abortion because they said Andrea would have severe medical issues. His mother refused and chose life for Andrea. This is the most beautiful music video I've ever seen. Bocelli's voice, his young daughter, the architects and craftsmen who built the Cathedral of Loreto, the violinist...even the video and audio professionals who recorded this - they blessed me with the immense talent they were given by God. Very emotional, powerful and beautiful. My prayers of thanks for all of them.

I am not Catholic, but I love this arrangement. It's fresh, original and full of Bocelli's own artistic and spiritual connections. I love his statement that he simply allows the music to flow through him. That is the essence of being a musician. Not just being technically good at one's craft, but surrendering to the higher frequencies wanting to come in. The money-blessings that come from the release of the music to the world are a bonus. 😁

This is almost unbelievable. I had the honor of meeting Andrea bocelli one day.. he is an immense man a giant. I don't know if most people know that. And he spoke to me like any other person might have him with a kind heart asking me how I was and how my life was very genuinely.. I spoke to him and I can't even express the feelings I still have from the meeting with with the great Andrea bocelli. Angelic voice. Possibly a living angel. Just like everyone else why would I want to cry when I hear him sing?. But I do. Amazing chemistry and energy surrounding him.

Their daughter Virginia has so much moxie for her young years. It is a joy to watch how she cares where her dad steps and that he is always safe. Gracias por esta bella sorpresa y gentileza al responder Matteo, te admiro también porque creciste exitosamente en tus interpretaciones junto a tu padre, es un lujo escucharlos cantar a ambos.
También desde hace años pongo las canciones de tu padre en italiano y canto con el, en mi hogar, pero cuando he intentado hacerlo en el Taller de música, los profesores de canto no me han aceptado, y es por múltiples razones que sería muy largo enumerar aquí.
Sean bendecidas sus "voces" siempre, para que nuestras almas puedan disfrutar y se llenen de gozo cotidianamente.

Por mis actividades laborales y familiares estuve alejada de la música por mucho tiempo, hace solo 5 años que soy fans, pero ya cantar en italiano es algo maravilloso, ya que mi bisabuelo nació Italia, no hablo, ni escribo el idioma, canto por fonética, y con la ayuda de una amiga que me corrige. En mi país es el idioma en que solo los cantores líricos lo hacen.
Mi profesor de canto me permite cantar en italiano porque también es descendiente de italianos, solo canciones sencillas, por supuesto que al no tocar un instrumento no puedo cantar en mi registro de mezosoprano, las Bellas canciones de Andrea, porque hasta para bajar pistas originales es demasiado costoso en mi país, trabajo que hacen los técnicos en sonido.
Por eso mi profesor de canto me desaprueba siempre, pero yo lo mismo persisto en cantar en mi hogar.
Tal vez Dios deja la mejor música para este tiempo, para enriquecer el corazón y llenar el espíritu de gozo.
Tampoco tuve la posibilidad en mi juventud de conocer las técnicas vocales necesarias para trabajar mi voz.
Por eso acepto humildemente lo que mi profesor me permite cantar, por fin este año podré cantar una canción en francés que es mi segunda lengua, idioma muy rechazado por su fonética entre los profesores de música.
En nuestro taller de canto del Colegio de Abogados de Tucuman predominan las canciones del folclore nacional de Argentina, algo de tango y generalmente baladas que interpretamos solo 2 personas, una compañera que canta en inglés, y yo que canto en francés, italiano o inglés, el resto de compañeros solo cantan en español.
