Hello Everyone, my workshop in recent months has been getting progressively worse in terms of being overcrowded with 'stuff', cluttered and basically a mess. It was really starting to get me down so I finally decided to get myself into gear and sort it out. Not going to lie it took me absolutely ages, but I've finally managed to sort it into something more presentable and ordered. Thought I'd film it to take you along the journey with me 😀.
As ever, thank you so much for your continued support in my disability woodworking adventures. Best Wishes, Leo Winstanley

Tidy space Tidy mind.
Absolutely Paul, feels so much better in here now 😀😀👍👍
Putting off tidying mine up by watching this 😅
Nice work 👍🏼
I’d imagine you’re not the only one saying this pal 😂😂😂
Leo... I sure could have used your help when i cleaned and organized and added storage to my shop! You got all of this done in 14 minutes! Wow, you are fast and very efficient! Fun to watch. 😂 Greg
Thanks Greg, I just wish it only took 14 mins 😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍
Ah that feels better 😁
Absolutely pal and your recent video gave me that extra motivation 😀👍
Leo, great video. Just watched this with my wife who is an OT. She was super impressed with your skill. I like to clear my workshop up and it usually leaves me ready to start a new project so seeing you clear you fantastic workshop up has inspired me to get cleaning my workshop.
Thanks Gordon, that’s really kind of you and to hear kind words from your good lady considering her profession really does mean the world to me. I’ve been working really hard away from the workshop to improve things like my balance which has suffered, core strength, secondary musculoskeletal pain and coordination in my left side. I’m hoping it can lead to improved quality of life 🤞😀👍
Well done Leo, that was a lot more work than the video suggested.
Cheers Chewy, I should have called the video ‘that was a lot more work than the job suggested’ 😂😂😂
@@Hand-i-Craft definitely 😂 it looks great Leo, quite jealous tbh mine needs doing badly 😩😂
Now that's better isn't it? 👌🏻
Oh mate it’s made a massive difference!
Never a truer word, thanks Leo !
Cheers Andy 😀👍
That’s a big improvement, good job
Cheers Vern, so much better now 👍😀
Mantra
Tidy some or all today as future Leo will be thankful in the morning.
Absolutely pal 😂😀👍
Well done my friend. I'm in the process of building a shed so I can get all the crap out of my workshop (garage) so believe me I feel your pain. 4 weeks to Makers Central now....can't wait. Take care of yourself mate.
Hope the shed build is going well pal and yes only four weeks to go 😳😀👍
@@Hand-i-Craft Slow and steady. Doing it on my own so definitely taking it one step at a time.
👍👍👍 Top job. Thanks Leo
Cheers Pete, well worth the effort 😀👍
Nice one Leo. All tidy, in less than, 15 minutes 😂
Exactly John, a bit like that video where I built my workshop in 18mins 😂😂😂
Well this HAS inspired me! I have no idea where a lot of my tools are. They’re in my garage, that much I do know, but where……..? I’ll have to get going now that I’ve watched your video. Thanks for the inspiration Leo! Rob.
Nice one Rob and good luck with the clean up pal! 😀👍
I can’t wait to make my new workshop usable. Still no idea how I’m going to do it yet but there you go lol
You’ll get there pal, a lot on your plate so have to be realistic in terms of a time frame 👍👍
You think that's bad, I can't find my table saw. Tomorrow is my day for workshop spring clean
😂😂😂When your tablesaw isn’t visible then you know there’s a problem 😂😂😂
@@Hand-i-Craft it will be sorted tomorrow, but I'm currently building cold frames for raised fruit beds.
Must admit when I go in there I don't feel like doing anything, can't find a thing, just need a day sorting out.
Hi Leo, hope your well, I agree I need to sort out my workshop a lot of runs to the skip. Your workshop is looking a lot better now like you said it feels good when done. A place for every thing and every thing in it's place, good job mate, catch you soon Take care
Cheers Shaun, the feeling when it was finally finished was great and it’s a pleasure to be back in here now. Best of luck with your cleanup operation 😀👍
How many times did you say “oh that’s where it was” (lost ages ago), great work once again
Lost count 😂😂😂😂😂
My entire house is worse, it'd be quicker just to burn it down and start again 🤣... but seriously, I eventually cannot stand being in my bedroom workshop because everything is everywhere, so like you've just done I blitz it ... I maybe don't get rid of anything, but I reorganise and although it may take days to do, by the end of it I look forward to walking into it again 👍
P.S. It's amazing how many tools you find which you've forgotten you had!
Well said Barry, doesn’t necessarily mean getting rid of loads of stuff but reorganising it so you know where things are makes workshop life so much easier and pleasant 😀👍
I know how you feel my shed is the same can not find a thing at minute .lol. Think mite be doing a bit of a tidy tomorrow myself.
It’ll be well worth it pal, best of luck!
My workshop currently has no floor😂
😳😳😳😂😂😂😂😂
I know my shed needs sorting out, but I haven't got the space or the energy. 😢
That’s exactly how I felt pal
I always put a week aside in March, and another in late September to sort out the shop. I'm constantly fiddling with the layout and tool storage, what works where and if it's not working, what can I do to fix it. It's never finished and it's only tidy twice a year, but those days are important to my sanity!!
I think this is a brilliant idea pal and think I’ll follow suit setting aside specific times in the year spring and autumn time to sort the place out 👍👍
@@Hand-i-Craft it's good to fix them in the calendar so you don't book any jobs in at the same time.
Dude, do you need a hand? 🖖
Got there in the end pal, blimey turned out to be an epic journey. Every job created another job 😂😂😂
