Arguably one of the most scariest college players I remember seeing on screen. Out the back field, Lined out wide, Punt returns, Kick returns just get the ball in his hands and watch.
I still can't believe he gave his trophy back. There is no way in hell I would have given it back. He made that school millions and millions....Now, he didn't do himself any favors by deciding to initially not pay back the person who loaned him the money. That just put his business out for everyone to see.
@@hhh1200 Bush was decently productive with the Saints and helped get them to a Super Bowl. It's a shame he wasn't born in a later generation. With how good of a WR he was out of the backfield he would've even better suited for the current era of pro football where they're throwing the ball way more and taking up more spread concepts. In hindsight though you look at the top 5 picks in that 2006 draft class. Mario Williams, Reggie Bush, Vince Young, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, and AJ Hawk. None of them ever became superstars. It happens. It's insanely hard to project how players are going to transition even for NFL executives that are paid millions to get it right.
The way he set that block up (14:37) was Cold-blooded. Reggie was a beast in the pros too. This bring back hella memories tho. I was in high school doing my thing, Saturday morning we had to wake up an watch film from last nights game. I used to tell my coach "I'm watching Reggie bush sry wont make it"
I always thought that O.J. Simpson was the greatest runner to ever play for SC, until I watched Reggie Bush play!, lol, what a phenomenal talent as a college running back! ;)
One of the best collegiate players to ever do it. A big fan as I watched him back in his HS days & I'm just sad that he didn't get drafted by HOU like he was "suppose" to. Maybe there he would have done like he did in MIA. I think the Saints used him wrong as mostly a 3rd down back & with a pass heavy scheme, he didn't get the touches he needed.
STILL boggles my mind how Bush just pulled away from guys once he got his feet pointed towards the endzone. Himself, CJ Spiller, and Jahvid Best are by far the most dynamic cfb runners of my era. (I'm a little young for Barry) You should put together sumthin for Best, and Spiller too.
That Fresno State game back juke...man I swear after watching that game my sophomore year of high school, everyone was trying to perfect that move at football practice. Needless to say lol our headcoach was pissed 🤣
I’ll always remember him for the fumble in the Rose Bowl. Some of those dives into the endzone were amazing. Hard to believe he only had 25 touchdowns, even if Lyndale was the goaline back.
The reason why Reggie Bush was so good is that he was training with LaDainian Tomlinson while at USC in the off-season. You can see the similarities in their play styles, Reggie Bush was really on another level though.
Hands down My Favorite USC Trojan Tailback and there have been Many Legend Backs at SC. Keith Jackson Called Reggie "Like a Shadow in the Garden" Couldn't be Touched. Only One Laying a Hand on Reggie were His Team Mate Celebrating in the End Zone.
I can't believe no one notices the similarity in running styles between he and Barry Sanders!!!! They had different builds but both were quick, fast, and elusive!!!!
Reggie Bush got more votes than Darren McFadden, so I listened to my audience and released this masterpiece. For the people who wanted a DMac one, don't worry. His video will be released soon. However, the very next up is a video will feature the greatest running back of the new millennium........
.........and if only Bush wasn't made of glass. That may have been his biggest flaw. Chris Johnson couldn't break tackles and he wasn't that patient, but he stayed healthy (and was featured), which is what set him and Bush apart. btw, CJ1K needs a video too. So many that need a video!
Reggie Bush got tougher more downhill after the Saints; with the Lions and Dolphins he had 1000 yard seasons. I've been watching those teams the last 4 weeks on GamePass. He got a little slower with age so; like most of the RBs in NFL history who play long enough to lose a step; they gain weight and became North South power backs.
Hands down the most electrifying college player in the 2000s... His skillset was ahead of his time - he can run, catch, catch punts and kickoffs. Had he been playing right now, he would be dominating college again and would be a perennial pro-bowler. He was like a twitchier, more explosive Christian Mccaffrey....
He should’ve gotten a chance to be a feature back and learn through his mistakes.. He was a franchise back but was stunted by his coaches in college and NFL!
Reggie was the last great exciting player I remember in college football. Everytime he touched it there was a high chance something special was going to happen.
The man was must see television. Vince Young had a similar aura of excitement to him, but we haven't truly seen anything like Bush in CFB, and especially not on a national title caliber team.
He was so good in college playing against Fresno State. I wonder why he was never ready for the NFL after the elite defenses he played against in college.
Growing up in SoCal during the mid 2000s EVERY kid that played football wanted to be like Reggie..you would always see kids wearing the #5 SC Jersey or #25 Saints jerseys at school
I could see if they took his Heisman away because he pissed hott, but come on this guy was the best college player for 2 of those seasons probably! His infractions had nothing to do with the game at all! He deserves to be recognized as a Heisman trophy winner!
It's 2019, and I'm still watching Reggie Bush highlights.
2020 and I’m still watching lol
Watch his HS highlights, absolutely incredible still.
SAME 🔥 wish they would have used him right in the NFL
Agreed
2021 bro. Still amazing! 💯
Reggie was so fun to watch. Inarguably one of the most exciting, dynamic players in my lifetime.
Go Big Red.
Easily. Guy was just electric.
Arguably one of the most scariest college players I remember seeing on screen. Out the back field, Lined out wide, Punt returns, Kick returns just get the ball in his hands and watch.
Reggie was the most electrifying athlete in college in the early 2000s. Give the man HIS HEISMAN back!!!!
They so did
Guy was the definition of clutch. Look at the scores of some of these games. Reggie Bush made clutch plays in all of these games to get USC the win.
reggie bush had the prettiest run style.. super exciting player
It's crazy cause it doesn't even look like he's trying hard, but he's just that much faster than everyone else on the field.
Yes he does. Very smooth and effortless in his strides!!
Greatest announcer of ALL TIME... The "GREAT" Keith Jackson RIP Sir
Unbelievably talent and college player. He was a celebrity in college. RIP Keith Jackson.
That USC team was really stacked across the board not taking anything away from Bush..
It’s 2022, and I’m still watching Reggie Bush highlights.

2020 who else came back to watch the greatest college player of all time?
This guy back in the day!! He was awesome!!! I use to study him to get ideas when I play football for recess 😂
Reggie was a beast in college.
Best college rb ever... couldn't b stopped on NCAA
lol bo jackson, hershel walker, marcus dupree, etc, etc etc. lyndell white had better stats at usc than reggie. it's called hype

Chauncy Phillips don’t wanna give the 6th like
Barry Sanders was better
I gave the 25th though
@@MrSPIDEY21he was .. his highlights are better too
Barry Sanders.
Thing that made so lethal was he could also catch very well … he was always a threat for a big play
The highlights, the cut back blocks, and Keith Jackson! Love this
I grew up in that era.... What a site to witness.
Lol. But you're an old woman no? Wtf?
He is the only college player that I can remember giving me the goosebumps everytime I'd watch him.
He was must see television.
@@3rdeyelionheart Not too late to delete this comment.
Who’s here watching after the NCAA announced they’re giving Reggie his Heisman back?! 🔥🔥
Hell yeah!
Thank you Reggie
He’s the most exciting college football player I’ve ever seen! They need to give him his Heisman Trophy back
Best college football player I've ever seen strong fast athletic elusive and exciting I'm glad he's from my hometown
San Diego County has produced 3 Heisman RBs
5:05 shook that jabroni out his cleats! Bush was a animal @ USC
These videos are a treasure trove of great memories.
Give him his trophy back... IMMEDIATELY!
On 4/24/24 the Heisman Trust gave Reggie Bush back his Heisman.
He finally got it back! ✌🏼Fight On!
Give this man his heisman back..
no. give the saints their money back for drafting him.

Leinart threw such a beautiful ball. Obviously didn’t have the arm strength to be NFL elite, but mannnn did he put it where it needed to be.
Rocket Ishmael & Reggie Bush are the two greatest offensive players I’ve ever seen in college football
You forgot about Auburn Bo Jackson 85'
Nebraska Johnny Rogers 71'
The City of San Diego CA is the ONLY City with 4 Heisman Trophy Winner's.!!

Keith Jackson retired after the 05 season.
Calling Reggie Bush games for both their last season in college football , I'm sure was icing on the cake

pudge27t He wasn't durable enough with the touches he did receive. More touches means even more injuries.
The Saints used him perfectly.
I was in elementary when Reggie bush was in college ! I miss those days running around thinking I was a Trojan
Really could've went to the league as a WR
no he was just a really great halfback with tremendous hands.
Danny Building very true
He had 88 catches.... as a rookie
Probably could have been a slot terror
Nothing. compared to the sound of Kieth Jackson’s voice on any Saturday afternoon in Autumn 🇺🇸

Reggie finished off a lot of these TDs like people do playing the videogames lol, with a dive into the endzone

Um yeah
Reggie Bush scored 42 touchdowns in college, not 25. And it is Lendale, not Lyndale.
One of my favorite college football players ever loved watching him play for USC back then
Always the best videos for real
It is 2024 and I am still amazed by Bush and that incredible season. One of the best ever!
