- In this video, I am testing the @Audi A3 Sportback 45 TFSIe Competition.
I recently had the opportunity to take it for a POV test drive and I was impressed by its performance, handling, and overall exterior design.

Performance-wise, it has 245 hp which is quite consequent for a compact. Although it is a bit heavier than a normal compact due to the battery.
The handling is very sharp and precise as the car has a low center of gravity.
The exterior design is aggressive which is adequate with the Competition trim (we are above the S Line here).

I was a bit disappointed by the interior design. Especially with the quality of the materials used for the door panels. There is still a lot of plastic present in the interior.
The trunk space is also ridiculously small. It is expected on a hybrid but this one is really small though.

Were you able to connect the maps from your phone (via Waze or google maps apps), or do we need to buy the license from Audi to access the maps in this car? I just got this car on a leasing and I still haven’t figured it out. Thank you in advance :)

It is possible to have CarPlay for sure (not too sure for Android Auto as I am an iPhone user). CarPlay will allow to use your phone’s navigation app.
But in order to work, it requires the Audi Smartphone interface option.
If it is not enabled in your car, I would suggest to contact the nearest Audi dealer.
Ca fait vraiment bordel les cables de recharge mal / pas rangés dans le coffre... il y a pas la possiblité qu'ils soient cachés/rangés quelque part ?
La voiture est livrée avec un sac de rangement mais il n'y a pas de compartiment spécifique.
Le sac devra rester dans le coffre mais au moins c'est plus net.
Je vais bientôt refaire une version plus longue et plus détaillée de l'essai de la A3 Competition TFSIe. N'hésite pas à t'abonner pour en profiter.

Non même sur la version Competition, il faut prendre l'option d'assistance à la conduite adaptative qui ajoute l'option ACC (Adaptative Cruise Control)
I just really miss the recharge function that has only the 2015 model. Huge fredom you can recharge the hvb while drive for a little more fuel consumption. 2-4l!

@@lukasbremer1242I could understand that when the battery is empty, the energy recovery (when braking for example) regenerates the battery but you can barely get 1 or 2 extra km.
Do you mean this or really a function where you tell the car to completely recharge the battery while using petrol?
@@issmanmy 45 tfsi e also has a mode where I can drive on petrol while charging the battery. This feels heavier to drive as well

I double checked and there is still the possibility to do it. Not straightforward to find in the menu but it still exists

C’est un modèle encore récent donc assez cher
I like when ppl measuring space in car even know that is A3 model it seems kind of stupid. Do they really want a space in A3 as in A6 or A8? Well then measure your wallet size first 😂🤣
