    Hi mate
    Great tip. I'm a 1/5 scale newbie. Bought a losi 5ive t with spectrum Dx4R Pro. I have slowly modded parts. I have a ported full mod 30.5 cc TR/OBR 4 bolt reed case engine fitted and a victory rc unsilenced pipe. I still have to run the engine. My next mod is to change the servo to Hitec 1000sgt servo. I've seen one of your videos and it looks fairly straight forward. I'm planning to race this truck one day but atm I'm enjoying flying my Dji phantom 2 vision. Maybe if I have a fly away I'll get back to my losi. Lol.
    Anyway I'm enjoying watching your videos and learning more about the losi.

      Nice setup. The hitec giant servo is probably the best upgrade that I installed.
      I love quads i have a couple smaller ones and looking to get into that more.
      Thanks for watching!

    Hey buddy, any chance of doing a pullstart maintenance video?? Just got a Losi 5ive and been bashing a few times and have had to replace the spring in my pullstart but unsure on how to maintain it!

      Which pullstart do you have? Stock or Turtle racing?

      ***** Just the stock one buddy! I've got a technique for redoing the springs but am interested to see what people suggest as 'maintenance'. I usually only take them apart if they stop working or the cable is particularly frayed!

      For a stock pullstart best is just to pull it off and brush off any dust or mud off. Its best if you have an air compressor and blow it off, especially around and under the pullstart mechanism.

    Hey when you race a 1/5th scale do they do it by motor size for just the car size?

      Classes are divided by amateur and pro. Engine sizes are allowed up to 30.5cc. Experienced driver with a 26cc can't easily beat a new driver with a high-powered engine

      Just read my typo. A pro driver can easily beat with a 26cc engine. Driving skills are more important than CC.

    what are ur opinion on aluminum a-arms?

    • @Primalx78
      @Primalx78  8 лет назад +1

      Don't do it. While the aluminum might be stronger you will just break the next weakest part(s). A arms are low cost. I always carry spares.
      Now if it is just a shelf queen, go right ahead.

      +Primalx78 no shelf queen lol, just curious if it was good or not, do u still race?
