Ah yes, been waiting for an upload from y'all.. Your videos are great man, just some raw and hardcore four wheel driving! Keep doing what you're doing man, loving it!
Jesus Effin' Christ! I watch your videos and I cringe, every time. What awesome rigs, what amazing trails...... and you guys put on a clinic in off road driving. BRAVO! :))
Love your videos been waiting for this fir a while now, I shared this video with all my freinds and they all said they loved it! Keep up the good work bois!
One other question... What is the 80 front axle link? Looks awesome. Is it a five link? Is it a custom fabrication? Awesome driving - super controlled by both vehicles. Landy can crawl to the max...
@@lror Cheers. Love wheeling my cruiser 105 twin locked with 35's but the line choice and second attempt options you guys know are awesome. Will keep watching & learning!
hi guys, is the 80 running 25% reduction gearing? The auto can make up some of the difference but compared to the manuals, theybare a lot higher geared on paper...
@@offroad4x462 Cheers guys. I'm still running 4.3 which I smashed the ring/pinion on first step at Whitemans. Rebuilt with solid pinion spacer so hopefully stronger! 5.29 - wow crawlin!

Thanks man, that has just added a whole bunch of motivation to stick to our Raw style of wheeling videos.
Defender has more ground clearance

MAN !!!!! That Land Rovers a BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT VIDEO GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bonjour à tous,
Sacrés baroudeurs que vous avez là, ma préférence va au Def, même si le Toyota s'en est sortit avec les honneurs!
Bravo.
isuzu 4bd1-t in the county 110 is akin to toyota’s 15bt , extremely torquey 4L 4 cylinder direct injection diesel , very useful on these climbs
Yeah the low down torque is a huge advantage.
My Landy is back in the shop for a bunch more work - your videos help me deal with not being able to go out and wheel myself!
Glad to hear mate 👍
Hopefully your Landy will be back and running soon 🤞
One other question... What is the 80 front axle link? Looks awesome. Is it a five link? Is it a custom fabrication? Awesome driving - super controlled by both vehicles. Landy can crawl to the max...
That is an X-link which replaces the front radius arm mounts on the diff. It frees it up and allows the front to move easier.

What had you done for high torque and low recing engine
Any custom transmission
And yah is it a 1991 defender
Standard transmission and its an 85 model 110.
the tire pressure looks greater than usual for the defender.
The grips are still great too
You have a good eye, i was trying 17 or 18 psi on this trip. Worked well but not as good as lower pressures.
Yes of course but it gives you some additional GC after all.
Yeah thats the trade between ground clearance and traction.
hi guys,
is the 80 running 25% reduction gearing? The auto can make up some of the difference but compared to the manuals, theybare a lot higher geared on paper...
Yes the 80 is running reductions in this video. He also did a manual conversion a while back.
5.29 diff gears also with the reductions with the manual.
