  • Join me for a 7 leg trip across the beautiful country of Vanuatu (including an active volcano fly-by!), as we island hop to serve this nation, by moving people and goods from island to island, in the legendary Britten Norman Islander.

    Great video. Love how you're describing your checks and thinking.

      @@sachakaboha3246 In the Bahamas. Did some crazy stuff back then! We took the Islander into just about anywhere. Even landing on beaches.Eventually moved to Europe. Flew 737,767,747, 777 for 30 years.

    On the smaller islands, are you speaking on an ops frequency, or ATC?

      On most of the outer islands, it's Class G airspace so talking on a common frequency.

      Kids playing soccer on the runway, adults taking a nap or having a picnic, chickens or pigs grazing, I’ve seen all of the above on our island runways. There are no fences, so it’s the Wild West lol.
