Iam totally in love with this car , it's beautiful. My brother had one of these and it was the first car I ever drove . I was hoping some day I would get it , but he traded for a lot newer car . He told me later that was a big mistake . I tried finding it , but to no avail . This one looks tops and sounds awesome . Thanks for sharing and by the was I'm 73 years young and still would rather have a old Chevy .
I've had my 51Fastback for 46yrs this year. 8yrs ago I done it over again with a 350/700r4 - 9in rear- mustang front end. Also had it upholstered finally. Was painted pearl white in 1990 and still looks good. Low makes it a nice car.

THAT'S VERY TRUE. IT CAUGHT MY EYE, CUZ I HAD ONE LIKE THAT EXCEPT NO BACK SEAT. BUILT A WOODEN FRAME AND PUT A GOOD MATTRESS ALL DA WAY INTO DA TRUNK. EXACTLY SAME COLOR. YOU CAN JUST IMAGINE WHAT WENT ON IN THERE. I WAS ,15 YEARS OLD BACK THEN.😅😁

Nice but has the rear end been changed due to the fact it has a 235 ensted of a 216 the rear will wind out at high speed should have a Powerglide rear end in it
It should have a 3:70 or 3:54 rear. That was a common complaint when these were new - geared too low.
Needs a tappet adjustment
