Great car, great video, thanks for sharing. When you raised the hood, my heart jumped, a 6 cylinder, NO LS HERE! Split manifold, no better sound! Olds spinners, great work, paint, whomever has this car, great!
With those 3:08 rears, that overdrive and the torque that 264 puts out, that thing will cruise all day at 75 mph in the lower part of the torque band just quietly loafing along with the traffic. Very tastefully done with little features like the small red LED indicator light that blends with the dash color and all but disappears between the large gauge clusters. Upholstery and matching door surround weather/sound welting. A car you can buy today, put gas in it and oil changes on it and just drive it for the next twenty years worry free.
Very, very nice! I'm glad that you kept all of the chrome accents. Split exhaust manifold is cool. I used to have an Offenhauser intake manifold that would fit that engine. It used 2 of the 1 bbl Rochester carbs. I had a "50, but it would not fit my 216 engine. It was made for the later engines...
That model is a Fleetline Deluxe denoted by all the extra stainless and chrome trim. That name replaced the previous 40's Aero sedan naming. I had that exact same model while doing a stint in the RCN back in the late 50's early 60's and kick myself every time I think of giving it to my landlord in lieu of rent when I got my release and moved back east. Mine was factory equipped with the Powerglide and one of the later in 51's that were built with hydraulic lifters. It had all the same exterior accessories that one is shown with along with being a Royal Blue in color with a slate grey interior. Dang, I wish I'd kept that old girl and just put it away for a later time/project.
Beautiful done yes I'm glade they keep it stock with the small up grades on it to make it better other than that . It even has a 265 so it gots some get up and go.

I had one years ago, almost like this one. Same color, Ox Blood Red. I miss it! Wish I still had it...

Trying to look like a Tucker
Believe me when I say Tucker would have gotten more orders if he'd designed his to look more like that Chevy.
