The thingy in the wrist is a wrist computer. And you did pronounce Yautja (Ya-Oot-Jah) correctly. There's a lot of debate about it's pronunciation, but the author who came up with the term, Steve Perry, clarified it on the AvPGalaxy Forums a while ago.

No the thing on his wrist isnt a computer its a detonator so if he is captured he will blow himself up so the enemy doesnt get his technology, its part of the predator honor code
im a fan of the figures. still only like the characters enough to buy the figures. i mean...short of the comics...theyre just cool looking. not a whole lot of story there.

The serpent predator is by far my favorite predator of them all. not much is known about the serpent predator except that he was the elite xenomorph Hunter. the first Predator to successfully hunt and kill a Xenomorph. they definitely need to do a film on this character.
Lol Anthony, I was the same exact way when I 1st saw this predator. I was thinking it was kind of a lame concept and looked weird, but after reading it's bio, seeing better pictures and then finally getting it in hand I've completely changed my mind! Also, just like in your experience, he's easily become 1 of, if not, my favorite yet! Great to finally see your review on it, great job! :)
1 of em out of the 4 I saw at Toys R Us had the broken tooth. The rest seemed fine, though mine had a lil extra peice of that bio mask wire on the right side of his head for some reason lol. It had the best paint job though, so I just cut it off with no issues :)
you got lucky and got one that doesn't have the broken tooth!! a lot of the first run had a mess up in the mold had it looks like battle damage on his mask. the lack of back armor helps with the torso articulation and if you hit the waist with a hair dryer, you can get more range out of the ball peg at that point. also, I painted the dome on mine black and hit it with a high gloss clear to look even more xenomorph like. really looks good. as far as the wrist "thingy", i believe it is just referred to as wrist computer or wrist com. as far as the loose hips, these can be popped apart using a hair dryer (the legs are pegged together through the crotch which is now made of a firm rubber vs brittle plastic). a dab of super glue will help stiffen this up using the same method used on other figures. dab the glue and swivel the joint until it dries.
I like the part where you get so stoked about his extending dual blades you totally forget to show what the sword or blade in the sheath looks like! great vid either way!! Peace!!

yea in the movies you see them use the wrist computer to activate certain weapons. you also see him cloak , decloak and to nuke... can't remember if i seen anything else ain't seen movies in so long

yea its like the mask doesn't have holes for his eyes but it probably doesnt matter cause the mask's tech is still tracking motion heat and just displaying it to the predator
😳 i know i was gushing over this one and all but i do have a complaint . he is a inch to tall for my liking you see it in better when you have him in hand he has long leggs and mine has loose joints but i guess it dont matter cause im use a stand to pose him like he is charging to strike . i like him but i didnt know he was basketball phazeeq predator

Anybody know what the price range is on these neca alien/predator figures? I really like these but I've seen some at $80 us dollars but im just a broke college student
normally when they first come out the price range is around 20$-25$ without tax in store,BUT the price when up overtime . I suggest u try to find and buy them when they first come out because when the new wave hit the old wave price will start to jump

also, he tends to not remove his bio mask near others, he doesn't use any other types of vision modes, and tends to act like a xenomorph

as for the tooth thing, neca has said that they will replace any with the tooth problem. just contact their cs through twitter.

He's perfectly fine, height wise. This way he fits in perfectly with Marvel Legends figures and other 6 inch figures.
