We recently sailed Seascape with “bid” upgrade to yacht club. I believe it was worth the price we paid. The benefit of not having to be a part of the masses at the pool, at the buffets, at the bars was worth every cent. Not once did we have to search for or stakeout a deck lounge chair. We had attentive and personalized bar service- the servers and the bar tenders recognized us and quickly learned our tastes. We did not reap the benefits of priority debarkation/embarkation at the ports of call as we didn’t have excursions booked or a timetable to keep. Our original embarkation was a blur! We went for the bag drop to our room in less than 15 minutes. We never sat down from start to finish-amazing! I do question whether the full sticker price is worth the value, but the bid price I paid certainly was
Hello John. Thanks for all the great information. Would it be worth it to upgrade the easy plus drink package to the top beverage package? We have cruised on other cruise lines but this is our first on MSC Seascape.
Depends on what you are drinking. If it’s only going to be a few higher end. Probably better to just pay out of pocket but if you drink something that is routinely 15-17. It makes sense. Thanks for watching!!
Hi John, My wife and I are cruising on MSC seaside and were thinking of upgrading to the Yacht Club. We’ll have our 10 years old son with us. Are kids allowed in the Yacht Club and if is there stuff for them to do.
I think you said that with the yacht club you get one device with the regular Internet package. However, on the MSC website under inclusions for the MSC yacht club, it states that you get premium Internet package (browse - 2 devices unlimited Internet package). You also stated that you get the easy plus drink package with your suite. Again, on the MSC website under the MSC yacht club inclusions, It states that you get the premium extra drink package. Could you clarify these two things for me? Thanks for all the info. Great video.
Thanks Jackie. It is 2 devices browse for the cabin. I was solo so I got one. For the drink package we are on Meraviglia now in YC and it is easy plus because we have gotten an up charge for a few drinks
John, don’t know if you’ve ever been in or seen an accessible inside room on other ships (we have since my wife is in a chair) but it looks like they just gave you a standard accessible inside room (maybe with a couple of amenities like the coffeemaker)..this doesn’t seem too much bigger or more luxe than the standard…Not really sure what made this more “yacht club”/premium than other HC rooms we’ve stayed in…it DOES look nice (but, then again, so was the one we stayed in on Navigator)…I would imagine the other perks make up the bulk of the extra cost over a standard HC room
It DOES sound like your butler/ concierge kinda dropped the ball almost constantly…he’s lucky you come off as very affable and low maintenance, because SOME folks would’ve Absolutely trashed this person to Guest Services/on the questionnaire

It has gone up a little but still for sure the best value in suite cruising
My wife and I love the Yacht Club. Thanks for the review.
Of course. Thanks for watching

Drinks are available and included in the YC lounge throughout the day, morning until night.
Yup

Hi. They are definitely allowed. Nothing really catered to kids there but they can still hit the kids club etc
@@ByteSizeCruises Thanks👍

It wasn’t a premium extra drink package ? Did you ask about this since the site clearly states that?

Yep. Most of the inside cabins on seascape are large. The yacht club inside puts you inside the suite area with access to all the amenities
On YC you actually get 2 WiFi devices per room. 😊

Haha yeah. It’s all good. I have zero need for a butler lol. He was really nice tho.
