Mind blown!! I'm a beginner at playing the flute-- the point you made about "true angles" relative to the head as it is being tilted solved the issue I was having. Thank you!

Great advice. I sometimes get a high whistle sound and I think it mixed in with an odd angle and the rotation of my flute forward or back. great video 2x👍

Mr. Suzuki, I have an issue I'm struggling to solve... I'm having trouble keeping the lip plate on my lip. That is, after a while, my flute tends to slip down my lip, and more so with the bigger breaths I take.
I'm wondering if I'm not pressing hard enough or maybe I am pressing too hard? or maybe my right arm placement is not being supportive enough? this issue becomes more frustrating throughout my practice sessions as I almost feel nervous I'm about to drop my flute when i go from mid C to D (as the fingering goes from one finger to all the opposites down).

It's very worrying that flutists spend thousands of hours in performance and practice with their heads tilted to the right. This is a recipe for the development of cervical spinal stenosis - which is NOT an outcome anyone would ever hope for.
