Got one of these from my neighbor. It was used hard and had broken arms and wheel hexes. Took the esc and receiver out and put it in my daughters hbx905. Running it on 3s 50c 2200mha On level 5 it rips wheelies. On 10 it does standing back flips 😂😂

They have made some upgrades & now say 30+ mph.
We did get 25 & 26 on speed runs.

It is a 1/18 scale so it's not as big as the 1/10's we usually have here, but bigger than what you typically find at the local store.
Plus, it is hobby grade so you can fix stuff that you inevitably will brake.

@@RCInsiders Hey I just deleted that video BEFORE seeing your comment (seen the notification), that was steady throttle it kept cutting out, the ESC was soaked, I later discovered, it dried over night submerged in rice LOL. Going to get a larger ESC eventually & some oil shocks. Also I ordered the HBX pro yesterday on banggood for the first time, assuming shipping will be about a month or so. Quadifyrc did a nice article on it check it out, seems like a nice improvement.
@@RCInsiders ordered on the 21st it arrived yesterday the 28th, really fast shipping, This truck (or at least mine) is super NOISY, assuming bc of the metal gears I also think they may need to be re greased.. Build quality it seems very durable & well made. My only issues are wt these "upgraded" oil filled shocks, the rear will compress down but then not spring back up, im going to check & try a different oil. Do you think a 15-25wt oil would be doable? Major improvment on the old 16889 thats for sure, extremely peppy & wheelies are an absolute LOL

I would suggest you do not try this as the likely result would be a fried esc/electric system.

Oh no I hope your gps survived! That tumble at the end though.... classic ending to a great speed test! lol. Well the claims for 35 mph was rubbish! Glad you tested it and showed us what it really can do. It's a lot of fun watching that rc zip along and fast.

@@RCInsiders just got this last week it's a very quick little truck on a 2s i got 22mph, on a 3s sypom 11.1v 35c (fits perfect in the slot wt double sided tape) I was able to get 43mph with a sreet tire it is insane i had to slowly cruise into it with a large space. Its a whole different animal on this battery less than half trim is about 25mph its truly fun, see how long it last motor doesn't get too hot

This thing is already quick, but you've turned it into a beast 😜 How hoy is the motor/esc getting with that kind of juice?
@@RCInsiders surprisingly it's held up quite well & honestly doesn't get too hot, ran it for about an hour last night on 2 of the 3s batteries kept checking temps, I can say on a 2s compared to this 3s, the truck doesn't seem fun anymore on 2s😂 LOL
At first if you floor it , it basically stall's & it cuts power, easing into it in going to say it will hold up great, this little 2440 brushless screams on 3s and does 4wd burnouts LOL
We love these Deerc's. Search Pxtoys owner group on Facebook and come say hi 😁 btw try the 144001 tires on these!

@@RCInsiders I am actually trying to acquire a unwanted one in england, but i think the person does not want to post, I am trying to find a alternative to this truck, about the same scale, that does come brushless, I will keep you posted if they sell me it.

@@RCInsiders Which is better the haiboxing 16890A or DEERC 300e ?
@@monkeytrident They are both good little bashers. HBX seems to have a little better parts availability. Only had the 16890 for a short period so can't comment on durability yet. The 300E we bashed repeatedly & held up very well. The 16890 comes with high quality oil filled shocks that makes control & ride excellent. I did this upgrade with the 300E for 15 bucks & it made a huge improvement in ride.
