I just bought 3 pair of the same but 7200 mah 120c batteries because they were such a good deal. Hoping you got a bad pack because I’ll be bummed if I just bought 6 junk batteries. I almost went with the 80c but the 120c had great reviews. There were almost the same price so I figured why not. I didn’t think they could be worse.
Using the stock tires, 26T pinion and CNHL 9500 racing batteries I am getting 60 mph with my new Kraton EXB RTR. I haven't tried the included 23T or 30T pinion. I changed mine to a 26T right out of the box. I added some foam tape to the top of my rear body mounts and to the sides as my body rattled like crazy. It is nice and quiet now.
@@Doug_Morgan Awesome Doug, I think the 31t pinion is too big. I like the 26t idea. Going out for a RIP tomorrow on grass to see how it performs. Really liking this RIG!
@@paulgaddini Love mine as well. Once you start jumping with it you will find it is very stable in the air. I have only had 4 sets of batteries through mine so far so I haven't done anything wild with it yet. (except hitting a steel football goal post which snapped my left side pillow balls off). It is all fixed again, I got lucky lol.
@@paulgaddini lol, nope. I was jumping off a slope at the edge of the high school practice field that has a slope coming up to the field. I was standing in a spot to keep the post behind me so I wouldn't hit it. But then I decided to approach the field from a different angle to get a better jumping spot with more slope and didn't reposition myself to keep the post behind me. I came off of the jump and as soon as I rotated my view as it was going past me I realised my mistake and smashed right into the post with the front left wheel hard.
They don’t need lube. It’ll just gunk up with dirt. They were just over tightened or tightened themselves while driving. I have hot racing aluminum inserts and they have an O-ring in there that keeps them from moving once you get them set. They work perfectly. Never had any issues with them loosening or tightening. You just need to tighten them up and back them off about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn so the ball can move freely in the joint.
I was tempted to use oil and grease on all of the unlubricated parts but I quickly learned that it just attracts dirt and makes things wear faster. Everything other than the bearings and differential gears are designed to run dry. It’s annoying since I’m used to a little oil making everything run smoother but it’s not the case with RC’s. I do oil the pinion/spur gear but it flys right off on the first run usually
I got 2 sets of the zeee 3s 10000mah 120c for my fireteam and they have been great 🤯 thats 1200a max🤯 still very low resistance. Great batts. Got the set for like $85🤯 think other set of same was about $100 from zeee store on eBay. 😁 Sweet truck man. Would love to get a set of these wheels too 😉 been looking at them. Great deal right now. $135 delivered for my truck 🤯😁 was worried a6the ballooning but they look pretty good. Could always put a set of zip ties around each side of center lug if wanted. Or soldier some tiny cable to right size. I have 1/16" aircraft grade cable 😁

Thanks Nick! Me too! That was the only time I will run this rig on asphalt, was just trying to get a true speed with the Magmas 😂 Hearing a lot of good things about the SMC packs, I will definitely get some, thanks again!
Hey brother go ahead and get the M2C pivot ball retainers there are two separate pieces and so that way they don't tighten or loosen based upon the activity of the truck they function just like the 6s rigs this was a big mistake by Arrma to make it one piece
I got the 6s one . Before I knew some things I tried a 15t pinion on a 90 degree and killed the stock esc 😂. Next is a max6 g2 with the stock motor . I ll start gradual this time upping the pinion . Them tires sound good running . The most fun I’ve had with the RC s is with the kcrc ramp . I like natural land jumps when I can find them though . I’ve had no breaks staying under 10’ high . 6’ high is high enough tbh to have air control and time . Sweet ride
You need to find some dirt. That thing is way too clean. Also, the drywall tape/shoe goo hack is the way to go. It will make the body almost indestructible. It gets rid of that plastic sound you’re talking about when landing jumps too.
Those Magma wheel and tyres look sweet! I might look for a set of those for mine. I’m running the Gens Ace 11,000mAh Bashing 100c packs. My pillow balls loosened off on one side after two packs, which created wobble, but I did notice that they will bind the suspension if you tighten them too much.
I commented on another post about the pillow ball retainers. I have hot racing aluminum ones that have o rings to keep them in place. They work great. Dozens of runs and they never have to be tightened. I think M2C makes them as well. It’s a cheap easy upgrade to not have to deal with the frustration of constantly adjusting them.

Thanks for this Brother, I just wanted to see the top speed on a hard surface. No more Magmas on asphalt, I promise😂 Ok, so most if not all GoPro's are water resistant which makes dissipating heat a real issue. The newer cameras, 8 and up use much more power to run and have bigger batteries. This makes them heat up faster. My experience with the 9 has been terrible. It heats up so fast, even on a cloudy day and shuts off or freezes. I have tried different batteries, rebooting, etc. I also think GoPro is on its way out. They lost their way in the past 4-5 years.
