  • Pulsar makes some great products, and the X2 has had a significant amount of online as an Endgame Gear XM1r and XM2w replacement. But is the Pulsar X2 Mini and X2 Medium the right choice for you, or should you wait? Let's discuss which is the right move for you, as both have pros and cons that could leave you regretting not getting one over the other.

    🔥 Review brother. Just can't get enough of the info you poor into your review.
    I'm still Loving my X2 mini. Closest mouse to my MZ1 wireless for size, making it a good switch off from the MZ1 when I want a little more finger movement options.
    I will still say though, the MZ1 wireless and wired is the only mouse I've found and have that really makes the Kailh GM 8.0 switches fell really premium. Almost lubbed like feeling. So I think Pulsar and a few others could take pointers on making the switches feel better than they do.
    I will have both the Red X2 Mini and the X2 Medium soon to compare to the first release of the X2 to see if there are any improvements. I think with the community being so involved in Pulsar, and Pulsar listening, I am going to see good improvements. Not that I had any issue with the X2 Mini I already have.
    As for Endgame Gear. I give them points for being tedious and wanting to make sure their mouse is perfect. Just wish they would just get the mouse out already. Endgame fans are getting tired of waiting.
    Okay book over. Thanks for all the awesome effort and info you put into your vids man. You really make me wanna run out and buy stuff. 😂.
    Cheers...Fatal Error Gaming 😉

      Thanks mate 💪 Yeah, I understand delays happening but if they were more transparent or did more regular community updates I think it would benefit them. EGG is definitely losing customers to Pulsar and Lamzu.
      Oh man, I’m abroad right now so no new recordings for a bit (I pre-recorded a couple videos to post in the meantime though haha) but I have a pending review on the MZ1 wireless coming out… eventually. Very unique.

    Oh my gahd, MY decision is final. If the Xm2w offers the same Godly coating, Shape and 1000hz polling rate?! Ill wait for the xm2w. As an xm1 user, the x2 is a really good buy. But it wouldnt feel the same xm1 that i fell in love. Plus mine is already a ticking time bomb. I replaced the switches of it and it extended abit. Just a matter of time

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад

      Nice! How long have you had your XM1 for? Yeah I think my pick might end up being the XM2w, just wish they had another size option. The X2 fits the same overall design niche but is definitely different enough to be very noticeable, especially for someone that previously used the XM1. But yeah they will likely have 4K polling hz further down the line after release too so it might absolutely slap. What really sold me was the addition of the Kailh GX switches.

      @@GekkoTechGaming 2 years and counting, this baby is a banger. Anything that is xm1, x2, mz1, or lamzu shape to me is king. I swear the coating on it is just black magic. I have sweaty hands and this really eliminated any worries of using grip tape. I can wait still for the xm2w but until when is the question

    • @GekkoTechGaming

      Dang, good lifespan on that thing. I have an XM1rgb but never got to put it to long term use between all the reviewing and such. The pre-orders are ‘supposed’ to ship out end of the year Q4 2022, so I assume it probably won’t be available for general purchase until Q1 or Q2 2023 :/

    Nice video! I really like the X2 and X2 Mini. Still can´t decide which one feels better for fingertip. Strangly i feel like the X2 Medium feels better for fingertip than the Mini does. Not much, but a little bit

      Thanks! They are solid mice for sure. Everyone’s hands and preferences are different, so I don’t think it’s too strange.

    1. motion sync delay seems to be fixed, at least according to haus
    2. i dont think the x2 is a good mouse to answer the question of "is it worth to wait for xm2w", considering the significant difference in shapes, the atlantis would be a better for answering that question specifically
    anyway, its a really good video, great review of the x2. kinda unfortunate u had to wait for the medium for so long

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад

      Nice! That’s good to know.
      I definitely agree, the shape & size of the Atlantis and the XM2w are significantly similar but there was a lot of hype around the X2 being a ‘XM1 wireless killer’ so I thought it would be prudent to do a comparison. That and I don’t have a Lamzu to compare to lol. I’m not sponsored or affiliated with anybody so getting my hands on review items is out of pocket as a consumer. It sounds like a bomb mouse, nearly everyone that tries it says it slaps. Have you gotten your hands on one yet? That green one looks amazing.
      Yeah the grind to get the medium was a pain haha.

      @@GekkoTechGaming ye, i get it. its nice to compare for the x2 review, only the "is the xm2w still worth the wait" question more fitting towards the lamzu. i myself dont have one nor do i plan tp get one, i prefer thinner mice myself. i have a friend who is thinking about getting it though, but he'll most likely get the xm2w considering he had waited for so long already.
      i also understand the struggle with having to get all mice for yourself, it would be truly painful to my wallet if i decided to buy everything from my mouse backlog...
      and yes, the green one really does look great, def better than razer green, at least for me:)

    Which one you think better for fingertip? this or the aria?

    • @GekkoTechGaming
      @GekkoTechGaming  Год назад +1

      Hmm... I would say the X2 mini would be better for fingertip grip. It has a flatter profile overall and is 2mm shorter at the tallest point so easier to avoid palm contact.
