Pluto & The Roku channel are 2 of my favs....
Tubi TV for me as well for films.
Tubi is the undisputed king, to me, besides RUclips.
Tubi is almost a legacy studio in its own right with the vast library it’s come to offer these days. The Live channels continues expanding, still far behind Pluto and Roku tho. But Tubi is the better streamer… classic hits, movies, documentaries, and TMZ / True Crime.
Pluto is the default for live viewing. Its channel interface is built like cable and makes you feel like it’s old school cable. I come here for jumping onto a channel.
Roku is the built in library and software for all I do… so I visit the channel guide and streaming library regularly. I think it’s good about newer content that isn’t super old. Variety as well.
You never know with Roku. But it’s easy to drop on a big news channel or true crime show, like 20/20 or Dateline.
That’s basically my streaming habits above! lol. Why I launched into all that….? I have no idea. But… if I think they’re all great and highly recommend ALL… considering they’re all free.
As for me, all I have is free services. I don’t play for Hulu, I don’t pay for Netflix or any of these other ones. For me it’s free TV, and an antenna. It’s free services like Pluto and Tubi and the Roku channel, plus I’ve got my TV antenna. I have a lot of favorite channels. I like the 90s kids on Pluto TV, the cops channel on Pluto TV,, on Pluto TV, just give me Pluto TV any day, and of course I have my favorite price is right channels on Pluto TV as well.
Big fan of the Classic TV channels on Pluto.
Whoa...you're wearing a different color shirt than black! Looking sharp Luke!
PlutoTV have new channels like Nickelodeon 90’s kids
I have fibre running to the home and it’s provided by my local power utility company. It’s wonderful and excellent.
We quit Cox cable tv for RUclips TV a month ago but kept the internet part. We are very happy with their internet. The price went up by 10 bucks when we un bundled.
If you have any other option I'd suggest switching - it's amazing how cable companies will dramatically adjust their rates (usually for a two year term) if you have an option to switch....
A question for Luke: Are any other streaming services going make a one time yearly cost in stead of a month to month costs?
DRM (encrypted) OTA (over the air) ATSC 3.0 TV is dead. Long live real Free OTA ATSC 1.0 TV without restrictions.
Unfortunately, ATSC 3.0 is the better-quality TV signal. Just ask any ATSC 1.0 OTA viewer who has to deal with multipath.
Not true, ATSC 1.0 is the first to release 4K broadcast recently. Wonder why they would bother, hmm
@@lelmus3277but the signal quality is still very fragile.
Pluto TV channels is the best.👍🏽
That PBS retro channel I gotta check out. I haven't seen Wishbone in forever and ever.
Whoa, I gotta check out that channel as well! When I was in middle school, I was really obsessed with Wishbone!
Stargate Channel on Pluto is great.
Comet has a great selection.
Tubi and Pluto,I've had the AT&T air 5g since last September and it's been great, speed ranges from 50 Mbps to 100 which compared to my old DSL 6 Mbps and I'm in a very rural NC area
My favorite free channel(s) is/are Star Trek & More Star Trek on Pluto TV.
Been off cable for six years 😭..I don't even care to go back to.... don't miss it at all 😮
Tmobile 5G home internet 700 down 120 up. Switched from ATT fiber. Happy with the switch. Connected to multiple wifi devices including PS5 gaming and smart home. Depends on the area. Luckily my area has strong signal.
I live off grid. Nearest cell site is 8 miles away. Internet signal from the Cell site was hit and miss. Got Starlink this fall. Expensive but couldn’t be more pleased. Well worth the money.
Mom love Pluto TV.
I like Dust and Alien Nation on Tubi....WB Paranormal is good too
Loving The Price is Right channel as well! Just check the Roman numerals at the end of the credits of the previous episode for the year.
OTA, RUclips and free Internet content works for me.
If I buy physical media, I also make sure it has digital copy.
I use Tubi a lot.
I don’t understand, with theses channels with ads,and long ads if you ask me,it’s mostly a bunch of old shows, old sporting events, only value I get is perhaps all the news channels!I live 60 miles from the San Fran area and I can’t pick up any local channels!thats all I want,so I have to have the avarage sling tv just for the locals, very frustrating!
Luke I use Fios, I am in Southern New Jersey (Sewell), my cost is $39.99 and it has been flawless. I would use 5g or the Amazon satellite service before ever going back to Comcast, no matter what streaming bundles they offer. Comcast has taken advantage of it customer for years, I enjoy seeing them struggle. They use to have a kiosk setup in my Walmart and I loved stopping by and telling the person working there how horrible their company is and that I would never sign up for their service. They got so much negative feedback being in Walmart that they no longer setup there. Thank you for your daily cord cutting news, I enjoy listening every day, keep up the good work. I am worried about the prices rising for streaming services, I don't like the idea of bundles. The good news is the flexibility of streaming and the free stations like Roku, Pluto and Tubi. We will see how it goes.
Verizon fiber 300/300 ($20 per month with all of the discounts allowed) and $0 for any other service or subscriptions. I refuse to contribute to greedy corporations. Do a deep dive into finding all sorts of media content all over the world for free.
Hello I have a question/concern. If you already have a service subscription and you get one of these bundles, won't you lose your history of what you've watched if they sign you up through say the comcast bundle you mention?
I have Roku but I don’t have Amazon Live Shopping how do I find it??
I still think that much of the paid (subscription) content is still higher quality than the free stuff although the free stuff is getting better.
I watch nickelodeon 90s channel a lot on Tubi.
Any channels have live sports?
Some free channels like Pluto and some pay channels like discovery have increased the number of ads to the point that they aren't worth watching. New shows are shorter to allow for more ads. Programs that used to run 30 minutes with commercials take much longer to watch frequently with the same commercials repeated many times. I understand that they need to run ads but it has reached a point where there are so many ads that there isn't enough time left for the program we wanted to watch. Many people are so busy they don't have time to watch a 30 minute show with so many interruptions that it takes close to 45 minutes to watch or they edit out 10 minutes of the show for additional commercials.
Just do a deep search on your browsers for extensions. You will be pleasantly surprised by what can be eliminated.
True, Pluto increased their ads throughout the day past my tolerance limit. Tubi's ad frequency varies depending on the time of day (more in 'prime time' viewing hours, less in 'off hours').
Reading this, I'll continue to stick with cable TV. With cable TV, you can record shows on the DVR and fast forward through commercials.
Question for Luke! Do you think they will start making it harder to cancel streaming monthly or so often? For instance, instead of being able to sign up for a month and then cancel, do you think they will start making it where if you sign up, you have the only options to get 2 months or more at a discount to stay longer. I have said it for a while that the churn is a major problem, and I'm just waiting for them to crackdown on that too to improve profits and stability.
Make sure to watch tomorrow's video. I will answer your question at the end
@@CordCuttersNews Cool! Thank you!😊💖
I will never go back to Comcast no matter what deal they offer
I cut the cord 8 years ago and never looked back.
I got the same plan a great plan
How can one get Fox Business without YT-TV, or expensive channels like Sling?
We are currently using starlink
Yes isnt it great
Prayers break this down I want to say why does Peacock have to lock all of the Harry Potter Contant? Is there a way that we can get them unlocked and your next video? My baby streaming service will be Pluto TV and Roku for second.
Harry potter is shown on many traditional channels on tbs, tnt, USA, ext
If you have a DVD and/or blue ray player see if your local public library has Harry Potter discs for check-out. Also see if you can sign up for Kanopy through your public library, lots of free stuff on that streaming service.
pluto tv for me
5,000 free streaming channels? Bruce Springsteen needs to update one of his old songs to "5700 channels and nothing on". 😁
Tubi FTW when it comes to free ad-supported streaming channels. Its kept updated with new features that make it easier to use and the selection of movies gets updated regularly to include better selection, too (I'm not much of a fan of old TV shows). Pluto and Plex would be 'second tier' to me.
At&t unstable internet and unstable prices
Dish needs to just give up They are too expensive anyway, My fave free channel is freevee
Dish 📡 and Direct is not needed... there are other ways to get TV....
Favunitetv
I hate ads and commercials.

what about live black channels?
That's not a thing. What about live Alaskan natives channel?
@@thedude5040we need a old fat balding grey haired white guy channel!
Lots of live and on demand Black entertainment & movie channels.

No free channels interest me. I hate ads and refuse to watch them.
😂😂. Poor thing
Cheapskate and entitled free loader! 😂
I agree. The ad load has become absurd on all the FAST stuff. I’m hoping Pluto offers a subscription ad-free version eventually as I’d be happy to pay a few dollars extra to get rid of the junk.

But 99% of the channel are trash and you wouldn’t want to watch them. Isn’t that the issue with saturation?
Free market forces will soon have a correction
Actually I find most of the channels on many of the free services better than what people pay a boatload of money for that still have cable
@greyeagle4388 the point of paid services is for new content. The point of free services is to rewatch old content
