Welcome to the closest, most intense racing series on the planet. We bring unpredictable wheel-to-wheel combat to the city streets.
We race on the streets of the world's most progressive cities, in 5 continents. We take wheel-to-wheel racing to the streets. That means tighter turns, close combat and plenty of unforgiving concrete.
Formula E brings racing tech to the road. With major global car brands going head to head, Formula E is more than just a racing series - it's a battle for the future. Our cars, powered by pure electricity, pave the way for the cars of tomorrow.

I think of the 8 champions... He clinched the one with the most prestige. New difficult cars, fair quali format, the second best powertrain, no teammate help, 10 out of 15 on the podium and to do it in a customer team (not happened since Vergne season 4 with Techeetah + customer Renault)
To be fair he was helped greatly by the then Championship leader (Cassidy) being taken out while running 2nd place in the last race.
@@NotAcvp3llaCassidy wasn't the leader, he was behind Dennis by 24 points going into this race and Evans by 44 points.
@damarfadlan9251 True Nick was a lot of hit and miss, very roller coaster end of a season for Nick
@@luvilela1278 if you actually read what I said. I mentioned him being taken out while running P2 "THE LAST RACE" (while he was the then Championship leader. ie ROME). Which gave Dennis the 24 pt lead in the first place.
DISCLAIMER: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE TYPING
And don't forget he was a championship candidate since his debut season, so now he finally gets what he deserves
How were the commentators keeping so calm during all of this? The German commentators were going mad during the whole race. 😂
It's normal
They got used to it. Nothing new in FE.
german commentators going mad? what? during f1 th german guys sound like they are talking over a funeral.

@@misterjeffa2128basically Daniel Abt was just roasting Buemi repeatedly
Shame for Cassidy, congrats to Jake, he was amazing all season, happy for Mitch as well, hopefully we can win the teams championship as a Jaguar fan
Eventually Mitch will get it as well I hope 😂 So many 2nds and 3rds due to bad luck and some mistakes, it's a shame. But congrats to Jake Dennis, would've been happy with any of the champ contenders winning
Buemi deserves to get fired by the team for being stonehead
Chaos is right. Congrats to Jake and to Formula E, great season!
Shut up..... LOL
Elettric 💩..... XD
3 mins time penalty? Might as well just black flagged the driver
What a race! Shame we finally saw a carpark incident but it's not like the corner was too narrow, quite a freak thing, and it got cleared up. Dennis a very deserving champion, respect how he built his title with consistent podiums while his competitors rose and fall. POOR CASSIDY WHAT WAS BUEMI DOING. That right there was one of motorsport's biggest fail drives! The drama came through the broadcast amazingly well. And still the teams title tomorrow, with both Jag-powered teams fighting at the front with both Porsche-powered teams the longer shots...maybe four teams all in it for themselves!? Sounds like a recipe for a great finale!
Buemi sacrificed his gap to let Cassidy through to repass Dennis but now needed to work toward his second attack mode gap. Then Cassidy sent it. Typical Buemi felt that move was not on and only thinking of that last attack mode gap he needed.
I had no vocie left after watching this race Congratulations to Dennis for being the first British FE Champion
That's why we love Formula E, so much actions and so much unexpected moments. The races are hardly ever boring. Can't wait for Season 10

Lucas finished P8 when at the start he was running in P20, Awesome Job from him!
wonder if he went through the pit again lol jk
Da Costa went from P17 to P2 until his penalty
Red flag. Why? Dunno. Editor cut 70% of the highlights out of the highlight reel.
3 minutes penalty for Da Costa? Whoa
The largest time penalty ever give in Formula E History
real shame for FIA
@@marioruifc yeah that BS
Should be 10s instead of 3 minutes
****
Shouldnt even be a penalty, like the driver said, it was caused by damage contact. It was not gaining anything performance wise.
Like antonio said, other cars are allowed on track with no front wing, with no breaking lights, with no mirrors but a patch tyre = disquailify.
@@drivingduck2234 Correct
@@drivingduck2234 so bs
Buemi..Man of the season for Dennis. Wtf is he doing anyways? Should getting sacked for that BS.
Bro what are these time penalties??? 3 minutes!!
Why not given straight a disqualification. Ridiculous
Penalty for a slow puncture on Da Costa car... They told him there was no problem with that and he could continue and then penalize him because of that... I am so mad with this... 16 overtakes, podium finish, and then this sh.... 😡
EVERYTHING about Formula E is Ridiculous
That pile of cars at the last moment looks so funny. I don't know why.
What a race from Da Costa. He deserves the podium
Only to get history by receiving the highest time penalty of this sport history
@@luuduonghy659 imagine getting a time penalty for something on other sports like F1 wasn't nothing... just imagine...
And worst... IMAGINE FIA saying it's no problem for continue and still get slapped with a penalty.... ( Was Michael Masi on the stewards today??)
3 min penalty? Incredible
Did they accidentally give Buemi’s penalty to Da Costa?
Give da Costa his podium back.
Hope team will appeal this
@@luuduonghy659they have, hope Porsche are successful

Chaos. Absolute chaos.
Watching it from the track was amazing, though I was a bit bemused seeing the late-race carpark.
One criticism: how do the stewards think? Vandoorne smashed off Mortara and got no penalty, Câmara, Merhi and others were allowed to race without front wings for nearly the entire race…this is what you use the meatball flag for
Agreed for the penalty. But racing without a wing isn't a problem. Dragging your wing around is. As long as the wing has broken off then there's no problem.
The aero is not a real problem in the category, cars don’t produce much drag and downforce compared to F1 and others
Haha I know right! "An absolute car park"
Bruh why 3 minute time penalty? That would be super huge even by F1 standards. Why isnt 25 seconds the maximum penalty?
In F1 or previous FE seasons an under inflated tyre pressure would be an automatic DSQ
I dont watch this but can you tell me why the guy in second place is the world champ? Who is Evans
CONGRATULATIONS JAKE DENNIS.... well done to you and to all of the Andretti team. wow, never seen so much carnage there. Brilliant.
Absolute banger of a race as usual.
However, what wasn't a banger was showing Nick Cassidy with his team, especially when he'd already asked for his privacy
If you want privacy, then go where media isn't allowed. Otherwise, it's fair game as the media are only allowed so many places, so just go where they aren't permitted to go. Expectation of privacy in an area where others are allowed is ludicrous thinking.
I'm sympathetic to both views; Cassidy was in a tough moment but he's also a leading driver having a critical moment in a world championship that's heavily packaged for media. It was juicy TV...I know drivers don't want to be reality TV stars, but for them to have the professional careers and have all the money in the sport that they do, it's gotta get some eyeballs. I really appreciated how authentic the drama of this season and this race felt coming through the camera. For all of Cassidy's frustrations with having a camera pointed at him, I'd like to think he'd understand it better knowing that ~90% of the millions of people watching him had nothing but sympathy for what he was going through.
Formula E Unplugged try hard 🗿
He lost the chance to fight for the title just because his teammate ran into him. He would be so pissed and i can understand why he don't want cameraman up on his face
They sabotaged Porsche (because of Jaguar) for the title, when they invented a penalty for Da Costa.
I wish Tom Brooks stay as formula E commentator he's very good
Agree, he's pretty calm when things went chaotic
Great way for Nio 333 to finish in P6 and P9!
I was in the grandstands in this chaotic race
Buemi ended Cassidy's championship. What on Earth was he thinking?!
I find it odd that it's difficult to find the race at any time, without prior knowledge of the calender as more than a casual fan. This and several European sports are just not pushed enough here in the US. Sad because I love Speedway GP and GP boat racing etc..But finding ABB Formula E "live" is an art.
On the app you can find the calendar and when and where to watch the sessions
It's really easy to find the calendar and live races where I'm from.
I didn't realise this race was this weekend but still managed to watch it live from the start because it's on one of our main TV channels so come across it accidentally.
What they did to Da Costa is shameful
First ePrix to have TWO red flags.
Formula 1 fan here...first time ever checking out anything to do with Formula E. The start made me think I was transported to the future. This is Formula 1 for grandpas...lol
Why? Only grandpas like overtaking? At this year's Monaco GP there were 4 overtakes.
1:11 Nailed it
Hope Buemi never appears on the grid anymore
Fenestraz... glad he's ok after that one... yikes.
Congrats to Jake btw! Finally done it! He deserves it. He's been so consistent this season.
Wouldn't be a race in London without a traffic jam 😂 but seriously so happy for Jake!
What the hell was Buemi doing? He said , that he didn't know, he should leave by Cassidy.
But you can clearly see, that he's defending aggressively against his teammate, who is fighting for the championship. Like really, what was he thinking?
What an unjust punishment for Da Costa. FIA, you should really be ashamed of yourselves!!!
But what are they thinking? A 3-minute penalty? For a slow puncture? Others finish races with broken wings; I've seen shoves against the wall that in Formula 1 would result in 5-second penalties, and nothing happens. AFC puts on a brilliant race, and they decide to do this wickedness? And they won't overturn the penalty? Shame!
Sebastien Buemi just cost Envision a championship, why didn’t he just let Nick Cassidy through?
Im speechless with Buemi
(This was my first Formula E race… PURE CHAOS… but better than F1 in terms of Racing)
What did he do?? I'm confused why everyone is upset at Buemi
@@shahzebnasir4692 He practically did not let Cassidy through and might have even blocked Cassidy as he tried to overtake him, hence the damage to Cassidy
He’s always been like this
He’s the biggest crier in the grid
His teammate is fighting for the title and he himself decide to ruin it all
Buemi has always been like this though. Man hasn’t changed since Red Bull dumped his ass. The F1 reject that never matured.
GGs to Rast for pushing Wehrlein off. Nice move
Mega race⚡️🏁
This is the first time in Formula E history where the championship didn't go down to the wire.
He is also the first driver to come from my country, and..my county
Well done jake hard work pays off
You see, teams of Formula 1, Andretti (and General Motors) has what it takes to make a great team.
LET THEM IN!
Da Costa goes from 17th to 2nd and I don't see highlights about him??!!
Congratulations Jake Dennis. 🏆🇬🇧
Is there such a things Formula 1 SHORT TRACK? Cuz this feels like it, crazy intense.
That wing broke in front of me whilst I was watching on the grandstands and I just put my head in my hands 🫠
Bloody hell this is like death race, so many cars get sent into the shadow realm.
Dennis taking the title with one race to go and Lotterer not even in top 10 in the standings. What happened?
Yeah, he hasn't even gotten a Podium this Season, he really drowned this season
I swear yesterday he was just chilling 10 seconds off the back of the pack
Nice parkinglot !!
3 minutes time penalty for a flat tire, almost certanly caused by a contact on track
WHAT A JOKE
04:43 😮😮😮
The first ever British Formula E world champion, taking the title on home soil!!
Congrats Jake!
Mi sembra una gara da autoscontro! 🖐🐊
I think you guys should fix the highlight, maybe a bit extended it
FE's driving standards are hillarious
Jake Dennis es el nuevo campeon de la formula E 🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎
1:35 AND HERE COMES SEBASTIAN BUEMI
Is it just me or are these really bad highlights that don’t actually show the big incidents happening?
Agreed. These were edited poorly
Chaos the best moment
'It's Fenestraz of the Nissan'😂
The other extreme in F1 where there are distinct performance differences between cars resulting in wide disparities in performance and the cars being far apart from one another makes for boring races unless rain or safety car bunches up the pack, on the other end: Formula E with the cars much alike, we get the other extreme of cars always bunched up literally nose to tail and resulting in the rather unusual situation in London exacerbated by the very narrow and tight turning track. It was very entertaining and exciting though compared to the F1of nowadays.
Spettacolare
Those lights look like dunce caps on each driver
It was a shame about what happend to Cassidy well done Jake on winning the title
Welcome to the championship club electric, Jake Dennis
Are there any live audience.
After 9 years, Formula E has what it always wanted, a British world champion
Not everyone is biased. Btw the founder of FE is Spanish
So it wasn’t a dream.
Mas o que foi isso que eu vi???😮
Parabéns aos nossos brasileiros, Sérgio Sette Câmara (P7), e ao Luca Di Grassi (P8).
Di Grassi need more competitive car cause he deserve a top 5 finish
Another great season of world dodgem cars👍👏
congrats to jake dennis for a title 🏆🙌
Buemi and Bird were buderns for their teammates this season...They cost them the title
Maybe F1 is more prestigious, but this series is much more fun and exciting to watch.
driving standards like with bumper cars
bro it looks like trackmania
That was so goo it held my attention for almost two minutes and my heart rate increased to 60bpm. Seriously, it has as much atmosphere and excitement as the average indoor kart race, but with even less noise. It took me back thirty years, to when my son used to race RC cars in the local scout hut.
If it isn't for you, don't watch it and let other people like what they like. Coming from someone who had never even heard of Formula E before watching this video...
Congrats to Jake Dennis - what a place to clinch it as well. Btw, I really didn't like the look of the london layout. wow so, ridiculously tight circuit.
A really promising future for the Brit
As almost always, FE highlights are of poor quality. They have shown only the fact that Cassidy's front wing broke, but they haven't shown Buemi actually having damaged his wing. Buemi's behaviour was pretty ridiculous and it was actually him that stripped his teammate Cassidy of the title.
Need to widen the tracks.
UPDATE: António Félix da Costa has been handed a 3-minute time penalty for a technical infraction
2:48 Nick Cassidy is out of the race
Why does it appear to be nighttime at some sections of the circuit?
@rodentcafeteria
this track is both indoor & outdoor
Poor McLaren, next time DON'T USE Nissan powertrains 😑
I’m new to formula e and i was curious about those blu leds that they have on the car. Someone can tell me what are those and what’s their use?
This season they are purely visual and have no real meaning. Previous seasons and hopefully next season they indicate which cars are in attack mode (run higher power mode).
Last season the leds lit up if someone was in attack mode, but I heard there has been some kind of problem with them this year, so they just on all race.
@@pannapalanki8041purple for attack mode and there was one for fan boost, I believe red.
I also noticed, and I think it's ridiculous.
All of these things that try to make it look "futuristic" just make it look goofy. LED light bars, angluar design, Tron aesthetics, e-this, e-that...
If people can tell the difference between F1 and F2 and F3, they can tell the difference between an engine race and an electric motor race, even with the sound off.
Track and cars being this narrow is kind of fun but also kind of dumb at the same time.
That start looked liked a herd of animals from the movie Avatar
Porsche 99X and Dennis are the reasons that led to the title.
with those tires i cant take this serious …

Watching the evolution of these machines is amazing !!
The fans & commentators don't need to breath fumes & yell over the top of a F1 ICE, no more sore throats after the race. People farting & burping in the stands will produce more pollution than the cars 🤣
4:44 what the hell
Woah gokart update?
What a ridiculous circuit for these types of cars... More frustration than entertainment
Was Buemi told to let Cassidy pass?
Nuneaton has a "World Champion" 😂
HOW RAGE PENALTY!!! 2 TIMES RED FLAG!?!
Hope Evans wins it next year
I believe the transition is too long? maybe sped it up is better (?)
