A2 designs air filter is a great upgrade.
Porting is definitely worthwhile on the 4910s and 7310s. Helps the 590s and 620s quite a bit too.
I’d really like to get it ported. I’ll wait for a bit though. I looked into dyno joe and it was 450 for a port job.
@@brainiacproductions357 Joe does great work and he is excellent to deal with. There are other builders out there that do great work too. I do some portwork and contacts to several builders I'd also recommend.
You need to look into that A2D designs air filter setup for this saw. It really gave a huge boost to mine and I had done the things that you did for the carb already. Really big difference. Also it really does take probably 15 tanks of gas to break the saw in just let it run rich on the high side what while it is breaking in.

I’ve been watching his videos all week and yeah I’m definitely interested in him porting my 4910. I have a cs 490 that’s a project saw if things go well maybe that one will be great to use. I got the 490 for dirt cheap it just needs new cylinder and piston.

@@brainiacproductions357i have a used 490 cyl and a new 490 piston you can have if you want to pay the shipping on it.
Its not something i 100% trust so the judgement call is yours. Would be great expirimental parts though. 4910 cyl and piston swap to the 490 as well, just need a different intake ring.

A2d filter setup is way to go ported that saw will wake up they will make 5hp very easy an they can make 7hp going hard after them dont be scared u can port your self even with a dremal an get 5hp
Thanks for the advise. And yes I’ve seen a lot of your videos you do great work definitely a true professional. And I tried to port it just opened the transfers a bit and removed the base gasket seemed to wake up but I wouldn’t say anything crazy without a base cut. I do have some port work being done by someone. I’d really hope to get a 4910 ported by you sometime in the future.

He's got a 42cc Portland/ProRun that runs pretty good

@@brainiacproductions357 I've got a few pro saws but I bought my dad a 63ack pinkway and I liked it so much I just ordered a 63acg pinkway. It's was like 103 and I bought it with Amazon points lol. I'm sure the pinkway won't last as long as my 550mark 2 but it actually surprised me how strong it is and for the price I honestly don't think anything can come close in speed and the quality aint to bad. Color sucks but the saws are pretty impressive
