Great vid mate, and a couple of very nice fish. I’m getting into yak fishing myself, what’s the net and fish grips you’re using?

Cheers mate! The net is a Bass Action Bream Basket. Aussie company and made as far as I know and pretty happy with it. Only downfall is that hooks can occasionally be a nightmare to get out of the fine mesh especially when trebles are involved. The Berkeley rubberised nets seem a bit friendlier in this regard but I’m not going to be replacing mine anytime soon. As for the lip grips, they’re just some cheap bcf brand ones but they work well. Absolutely love kayak fishing mate and I m sure you will too. There’s one thing most people have to learn the hard way, myself included, and that is “leash it or lose it”. If it doesn’t float, attach it to your kayak 👍🏼

@@anglinguntangled thanks mate. I’ll Google the bream basket up, I’m familiar with the Berkeley job. The ones I’ve seen either have a short handle, or pretty long one. (although it probably wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to shorten a long one up with a hacksaw). That breambo one of yours seemed the perfect length to get the fish out of the water and straight into the well at the bow of the yak, and I like the idea of the deep bucket. I’ve just ordered a Next Gen MkII (Desert/last one) from the Goldie, should get it this week. On sale $899, happy days and a few fish I hope 👍🏻😀

I’ve been waiting on a part from the United States for about a year, but should be getting that soon. Once I have and sort out a sounder I reckon I’ll put one up 👍🏼
