This is a re-upload because of a mistake in the imagery. Sad to see all the nice comments gone, but enjoy! Stay tuned for Part 2 on the Minor Arcana, which is in progress.
I’d also like to point out that as you said, the 16 court cards represent personality, and one of the most widely used personality diagnostic tests in psychology is the Myers-Brigs Type indicator that sorts people into, coincidentally, 16 different personalities. You also mentioned Carl Jung in numerology, the four corners of the mind “intuition, emotion, thinking, and sensation” this was actually the basis of the Myers Brigs assessment, they worked off of Carl Young. Maybe it’s all connected? Maybe there is a tarot card that could potentially represent each personality. A bit of a reach but an idea I had lol.
I don't think that's reaching at all! I think you're spot on with that analysis. I might talk about those connections in the Minor Arcana video, so thanks for mentioning this.
Nice. I'm going to have to watch this a number of times. I really enjoyed it the first time, and I feel very aligned with you - I think the mention of Mark Passio helped. I have a wierd question: are there intelligences "programmed in the images of the cards, and if so, can they grant initiation?
The 22 Major Arcana cards are outward representations of inner Archetypes of Natural Law we all go through. If you mean intelligence in the sense of "the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills", then the answer to your question is yes; since they're a form of compressing knowledge and skills and passing them forward. However, in order for them to grant you initiation, you must first find those Truths inside you before being able to externalize them and thus become a practitioner or initiate.
Hey, thank you for the compliment. I would say that if the intelligences are programmed in any way into the cards, it would be based on the collective unconscious memory of soooo many people associating that intelligence into the card throughout time. And, yes, I think you can work with the archetypes or intel in a ritualistic way if you know how to invoke or evoke.
Thank you so much Jackie, I have been looking for a video exactly like this one, not superficial but that dives deep also in the symbolism, Kabala etc. Cannot wait for the minor arcana, you really have a gift of speech such a calming voice, I enjoyed listening to you so much. ♥ btw your surname means beautiful in my language!
This was truly amazing and so eye opening, as deep as I am in my spiritual journey, this has opened my mind, eyes, and heart to so many more classifications of spirituality. If that’s how i could word it. Definitely shifted my perspective and allowed my perception of things to flux. I love tarot, astrology and numerology so much already but this really hit different. ❤😅thank you
@@bosstuna8115 Hey, just wanted to say that I consider the negative meanings of the upright cards to be different from the reversals meanings. In total you have 4 possibilities: positive and negative for uprights and positive and negative for reversals. But I'll explain that in the future. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the re-ulpoad! Studying your seminar at my own pace... I'm still at 0/22 - The Fool and already found some interesting things from my mother tongue. I speak Brazilian Portuguese and 'breath' is 'fôlego' - Fool's Ego.
All these concepts i have come to naturally and am just now learning these concepts. I have so many made up terms for so many of these concepts. Its interesting. because i feel like im just checking others findings with these concepts. Instead of learning from them directly. Egotistical maybe but true.
Thanks for sharing your work! So interesting. I would think the Fool card - the soul & consciousness would embody the Crown chakra instead of the Throat chakra.
Thank you! For the Fool, in the Eastern traditions, yes, consciousness or Shiva would be viewed as the Crown chakra. However, since I am overlapping the chakra system with Kabbalah, I view it differently. Consider that the Universe was spoken into existence--therefore, Source and consciousness could be thought to belong at Da'at and the Throat chakra.
